I haven't S ranked Niles. I've only S ranked Leo, and now I'm working on Takumi. I also like Kaze. Too many cute anime boys (and girls) to pick from. I just like pairing people off lol Yes, the side romances are awesome for sure! I think my favorite romance is actually Kaden and Azura. It just pleased me greatly! I love Kaden (And Keaten too). Maybe I'm a furry lover lol? Anyways, I do get annoyed cause I sometimes feel the writers or translators queerbait and ship tease a few same sex supports. Like Orochi and Kagero are gay for each other lol

But maybe that's my own hangup on such things. haha

So I went back to Pokemon Crystal and after a little grinding (werk that pokepole!) I took on Red.
His team was way more leveled than mine.
His team: Pikachu level 81 Espeon 73 Snorlax 75 venusaur 77 Charizard 77 Blastoise 77
My team: Graveler lv. 51 umbreon lv. 47 Electabuzz lv. 52 typhlosion lv. 50 Lapras lv. 52 Lugia lv. 61
So I sent my graveler out first and he took pikachu out after 6 earthquakes (he used charm first thing or I would have One shot him, and ash used 4 full restores on his pikachu).
My umbreon took out his Espeon though he had to use one hyper potion towards the end there.
up next was Snorlax and he was the pokemon I was most worried about. Graveler was low on earthquakes already and of course once he was almost the victor Snorlax used rest and reset the battle. So after wittling his health down just a little to be safe I cheesed him with Explosion. No xp, but the battle was won. (I used one full restore before that though as my graveler was hurt and paralyzed both-that was the only other item I used in that fight suprisingly enough).
The next battle was with blastoise- I randomly sent out typlosion first since I didn't know which would be out next-so I switched back to my umbreon to let him get knocked out so my Electabuzz could start with full power. Bastoise, however, used rain dance so despite my best efforts I only got 2/3 of his health gone before he took out my poor electric type with double powered surfs. I sent in my overpowered legendary beast Lugia to finish him off quickly with one Psychic.
After that it was Charizard. I sent in my lapras and it was taken out by my double surfs-thank you rain dance for lasting so long. haha!
Red sent out his last pokemon Venusaur and the rain finally stopped so it was an easy pick for me to send out Typlosion again-this time to actually do things! He won the day!
Woot! I conquered Pokemon Crystal. It was a good time.

I've been working on clearing out my backlog. I just finished Black Mesa - well, the currently completed parts anyway, up to the end of the Lambda Core chapter. It was incredibly good; man I wish Valve was still in the business of making games and expansions in this universe.
I wonder if Half-Life 1's story would've sparked a moral outcry in the media if it had come out after 9/11 instead of in 1998, given how much of the game is spent fighting the US military. Speaking of which, I absolutely understand why Valve made the more conventional army-like Combine the primary antagonists of Half-Life 2 instead of the more animalistic or monster-like Xen inhabitants from Half-Life 1; the HECU Marines and Combine soldiers are generally more fun to fight than the monster-type enemies. After the military pulls out of Black Mesa in Half-Life 1/Black Mesa, the combat encounters from that point on just aren't quite as engaging for some reason.
I think Surface Tension was my favorite chapter of the game; it's immediately preceded by an excellent fight at the end of Questionable Ethics, almost 100% of the enemies are HECU forces, and it has some of the most varied and interesting locations in the game. Plus you get a guided rocket launcher, and that's always fun.

I've finished Fallout 3's main story and have started working on the DLC. I absolutely love Fallout 3's DLC. They're very well crafted and a lot of fun...maybe even better than the main game! I do feel like I am done with the game after this, even though there's probably more I could do in the world. I'm kind of tired of the constant crashing, totally ruins the mood. It's been fun though...and I even caved and finally bought two of my favorite songs from the game, "Let's Go Sunning" and "I'm Tickled Pink"! I'm totally going to mod those into Diamond City Radio for Fallout 4. I'm sad they weren't included, they're great! Earlier I accidentally started listing to my Dragon Age Origins/Awakening playlist (not the game soundtrack, but songs that I listen to while playing the games/remind me of the games) and it brought in a rush of emotions with it! Now I really feel like I want to play them again, as well as Dragon Age 2 having been on my mind for a while now! But I will have to wait because I'll be playing New Vegas next and I don't want an awkward gap between games (or in the middle of one!) if I'm not done by the time Pillars Of Eternity 2is released!

I'm half dead and should go to bed. I blame Davrin's boobs cause he gave me a site that helped me find a killer strategy to catch Raikou. So after doing that, I felt obligated to go ahead and clean house and catch celebi and Ho-oh. Oddly enough Ho-oh took the longest to catch. He was like "nah bro, don't want!" He actually used every move and started struggling right before I finally caught him. v.v Either way, that's pretty much all there is left to do in Crystal-unless I try to "catch them all" which is not happening. lol!

I think I might want to play DA2 again. I have several games going already, but I might delete them and start over. I don't like picking a play up months later when I can't even remember how I was RPing in a particular play- through. You'd think I'd know by now to record this stuff in my game-nerd notebook, but alas. Only the ME trilogy has made it to that level of detail. /fail.

I also expected I'd suck terribly since the old games are a bit harder, but mostly it was fine. The only time I struggled was before the 5th gym (the fighting gym) I had to grind my fearow up a lot to get it ready to take on those mon's. After that I actually grinded most of my team to around 30, and the game got super easy again. It felt wrong fighting water types with my fire starter, but they were the only high leveled mon's I could find in the wild. It worked out.

I think I've decided to skip Fallout 4 and start playing The Technomancer after I finish New Vegas! I was at an "Elvis" concert (twice) and all I could think about was The Technomancer, haha. Several Elvis songs are a part of my Technomancer song playlist and take me back to the first time I played through the game. It's about time I got back to Andrew anyway and this game has been on my mind for the longest time now.

For now though I'm still playing Pokemon Ultra Sun, and small bursts of Dragon Age Inquisition.

I am so far back the DA2 rabbit hole. Love this game.
Is it me or does Act 1 drag while Act II flies by?

My boyfriend got me Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright for Valentine's Day and I have been playing it nearly non stop. I even picked up Conquest to play after I beat Birthright.
