I was able to save my blue waifu without doing any side missions except the one with Bathia's body on Citadel so yaaaay!
Wasn't easy though. The geth right before going to the digsite and then the Krogan battlemaster were challenging.

There's no reason it should have been that way since they wanted us to go there first. Evil ass game devs!

Krogan Battlemaster isn't much easier, there's pretty much no where to hide and enemies are attacking from all sides. The trick is to kill the Krogan first.

I always glitch that one. you can get the mako through the narrow slit.. you need to boost into it so that the mako lies on its side, then through forward and backward you can basically slither through.. which makes the next part nice because that glitches the geth outside in the way that they don't aggro-so you can kill em outside even for massive xp. also if you do hard difficulty, get soldier and pump up immunity, at higher level that is a massive thing that can help so much. also:always, ALWAYS have fire or poison/rad for krogna, if you burn himhe wot regenerate good luck, commander. I am playing doom. Its so much fucking fun. and because doomguy holds his cakehole shut, I dont have that much problem immersing meself into it .

Thanks for the tips firmicute! I'm playing Mass Effect 3 now finally. Hmmm, the game actually plays better than 2 on my system (and 2 played better than 1...not sure why that is but hey it's good that all 3 play at acceptable or better level). Though the audio is pretty static heavy at times. I'm going to research if that's a common issue or not.

also:always, ALWAYS have fire or poison/rad for krogna, if you burn himhe wot regenerate I always use poison/rad, nothing else speaks to me Plus, it's a nice boost when you play sentinel or adept but it didn't help me to kill the krogan tbh. Throw (Kaidan), Sabotage (me) and Overkill (Ash), if I remember correctly. I'm playing Mass Effect 3 now finall ME1 on PC, back to MEA on xbox (I'm trying really hard to romance Jaal... but PB is so soooooo hard to resist! Oh, they didn't fix double Jaal in the scene with Liam, Jaal, armor and their bare chests) and still Skyrim on Nintendo Switch (this one will be a long run since I do it only when I have time at work).

Played the free trial for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, I think it's ok. Managed to take down 2 Buchons(?) during the trial period, I might just get the game since it's on sale.
The Lead bad guy seems kinda like a Bane expy, at least to a small extent.

So God of War is one of those once in a generation games that shows a lot of the bullshit in the gaming industry is just that, bullshit. All that single player games aren't profitable or not popular has flown out the fucking window. I've barely scratched the surface of this game and within the first hour and a half I can't even begin to describe what I've experienced. I think I'm going to be more harsh on judging games from big studios from this point forward. All I can say is thank you santa monica studios, thank you for this...experience.

Ok so god of war update after the initial awe wore off. The gameplay is completely solid. This is some of the best combat I have ever experienced in a game. On normal difficultly if you die its because you screwed up. You have to master parrying and the abilities you can unlock make you a death machine. This has to be the new standard for these types of games going forward and I now firmly place myself in gameplay first as a deciding factor for buying future games.

I know I played FF12 before, but genuinely did not remember Balthier being voiced by Gideon Emery. Well for sure he's never leaving my party now! I shall make him a black mage so he can nuke all the things.

Do tabletop games count? Recently I've been reading and rereading the Stars Without Number: Revised Edition RPG book, and I think I'm in love. There is so much good stuff in this book - the new space combat system's a substantial improvement over the original one, there's lots of OSR goodness like incredibly lethal combat and random tables for character creation, the basic background lore and setting premise is compelling without stifling creativity, etc. The Game Master section is particularly great; it's got lots of tools for things like generating a star map, handling factions, etc.
Once finals are over I'm definitely going to have to try and take it for a test run.

I'd highly recommend sticking to the original controls for the best results! The game wasn't made for the alternate/modern controls and it kind of breaks it, honestly. Plus the camera angles don't work with that control style at all. I hope you enjoy it! It's a good one! (Also, you are probably playing on easy/very easy difficulty by mistake. It's a common misconception that mountain climbing is hard mode.) I'm going to play it soon as well myself, for the millionth time! Haha. I'm going to start playing the HD version of Resident Evil Zero first!

I'm going to start playing the HD version of Resident Evil Zero first! The raisin why I decided to give this game a run again is because my sis bought a retro station which has various classics from a couple of different consoles NES, SNES, Gameboy, Sega, PS1, Atari etc all under one console. Dipped into the original RES and negative infinity dem controls switched over to the alt version and picked the middle option for game difficulty which was the hike option, I assumed that is medium difficulty cos it was in the middle lol. PS store has the remastered original and RE Zero as a bundle for only €10 at the mo so I went with this bargain, never played zero so I have alot of dying ahead of me.
