I play God... I mean, I am God (literally).. playing Afterlife ^^. Or Guild Wars, or Skyrim (I like to see some snow when it's too hot outside ). I tried Torment -Tides of Numenera but I expected something else :/ .. maybe one day I will play it seriously (yes, gaming is a serious matter ). And I still need to finish Pillars of Eternity. Oh, I miss Garrus too, so I suppose I'll be playing Mass Effect soon

I FINISHED THE LAST GUARDIAN LAST NIGHT, THANK CHRIST.
God, the story is brutal, the ending really upset me, even though I knew what was gonna happen. I am never, ever playing it again. I'm gonna take it, and Dragon Quest Heroes II down to the store today when I get my haircut, and trade them in towards Prey.
Meanwhile I have moved on to Yooka-Laylee, and on 3DS I'm playing Yoshi's Wooly World, but I spend more time designing Yoshis than playing the actual levels, lol.

Sometimes it is nice to have cute games that you can play and not worry too much about it.

There's lots of secrets, I don't think I've got a single level where I managed to find them all, but as long as I find all five yarn skeins to unlock that level's yarn yoshi, I'm happy. It looks like there's a lot of them, too, plus the free spaces for designing your own.

I played Kirby's Epic Yarn on the Wii and so I am expecting it is similar to that.

Lots of neat visual touches, like Yoshi's feet turning into a propeller or wheels if he's hovering or running. The puzzles mostly consist of unravelling sections of the landscape to reveal secrets or fill in gaps by throwing a yarn ball. There's some little physics puzzles where you have to try and aim the yarn balls juuuuust right. I haven't played Epic Yarn, but other Kirby games on 3DS have had similar gameplay where you have to think laterally and work with the environment.

Oooh I want to get that Yoshi one, I was impressed by the demo seeing how faithful the graphics were to the Wii U version. I actually have a yarn yoshi amiibo but not the game yet hahaha. Kirby Epic Yarn is great and pretty similar on how it plays with the yarn visual and lots of collecting throughout the map, is really cute and changes the type of gameplay a lot in fun ways.

Yeah some levels have sections that switch it up a lot, lol. "NOW YOU'RE AN UMBRELLA. PRESS A TO FLOAT. NOW YOU'RE A MOTORBIKE, PRESS A TO JUMP OBSTACLES. NOW YOU'RE GIANT, PRESS X TO DO A TAILSPIN AND KNOCK OVER BUILDINGS."

I like a mascot platformer but I heard its replication of N64 mascot platformers is too perfect because it also replicates all of the problems of that genre. I always prefer when a game trying to replicate an older game updates the older mechanics or adds things that got added in entries game franchise, like Ratchet & Clank 2016.

It's cute, and I'm enjoying it, but my experience with these types of platformers is limited. I never played Banjo-Kazooie, for instance. The ONE thing I noticed that is a real inconvenience (for me) is that there's no mini map. I got lost pretty easy just in the first world, and part of the gameplay is that you expand the world by collecting shit, so I can see that becoming frustrating for me as I go on. But I literally only just started, and haven't got very far yet, so this is just first impressions, lol.

Picked up DOOM and played it all weekend...I know I'm woefully behind the times on it but it's so much fun. I like that it's forcing me to play in ways far outside my comfort zone–I love sniping and stealthing and being careful, but that's literally impossible in DOOM. You can't take the time to think about much once combat begins, you just have to shoot and keep moving. I'm hoping it'll end up improving my skills in ways that carry over to other games. And man, it's so delightfully gross...very entertaining.

And those glory kills, damn they are gross but awesome!

I've had the get your arms ripped off and then get beaten with them scene a few times when I've died and I can't help but think "Well, now I know how it feels." It's so insane, I love it.

I bought Stardew on the PS4. I was going to mod it on the PC and have some fun but I am spoiled by my comfy couch and ps4 controller.
I do want to pick up Expedition Vikings soon (also I want to try that new Civilization, I am just waiting for it to go on sale.) I need to clean up my Mac a bit first. It is pretty ancient but can still run most games.

I'm currently playing through Dragon Age: Inquisition again. I played for about sixty hours before taking a two month break for Mass Effect Andromeda's release. I feel really conflicted. There are some points where I am having fun...but also times where I look at the map and remember there is still so much (fetch questing) to do. I want to complete everything...but I am also very tempted to just do the DLC and finish the game. Jaws Of Hakkon, The Descent, and Trespasser were some of the highlights of Inquisition for me.
I've been feeling pretty nostalgic for Dragon Age Origins though, and it is tempting to play through it again. I feel like I need to go back to my roots and play through it as a Dalish elf again.

I have 5 started and unfinished DAI plays, I started a DA2 again, I plan to start a Circle Mage Origin (my fav), but the DAO crush my PC always. I started a new Ryder too, but rather I wait for the patch... I have also two started Fallout 4
But I haven't time for playing (and probably I will not have until August-September, only 2-3 hour stolen time in a week.)

I will be finishing a couple of my unfinished playthroughs of DA:I and starting another one soon. I'm in the middle of my completionist run so once I've done that, my new playthrough will just be the stuff I enjoy or think is worth doing, which will cut down on the fetch quests. I still haven't played Trespasser yet. I'm in such a mood to play DA2 though. I've been playing a lot of open world games recently so I'm really in the mood for a more linear experience, Prey didn't really scratch that itch for me. Each time I think about starting it though I just think of my backlog. Still, haven't finished, FF15, World of Final Fantasy, Fallout 4, Horizon: Zero Dawn, a couple of DA:I runs, my second MEA playthrough and I'd like to do a second Witcher 3 playthrough. And don't even get me started on games I bought I haven't even started yet.

I need to finish HZD which I put on hold for MEA. Mistake. Forgot the controls and just got my ass kicked by a stormbird. God I HATE stormbirds! Also the Shadow of Mordor GOTY edition was on sale for $12 on the PS store so just bought that. I really enjoyed Horizon! Aloy is great and I love good ranged combat. My favorite thing to do was stealth clear bandit camps.

I love how the focus lets you know where to aim and then you slot 3 arrows in and... instakill anything! I'm a little irritated by one of the hunter trials though. I need to get my mastery of the controls back before trying it again. Also the inventory is a little frustrating. I can't even loot Thunderjaws anymore without dropping something. But I LOVE this game! Honestly, I found that I was almost always carrying an excess of crafting resources, and would frequently dump them if I had multiple stacks. Also, if you look in the inventory in-depth, you'll find a lot of stuff is basically only good for selling to merchants, which the game wouldn't tell you otherwise, so you have to remember to go back periodically and sell that shit. Once I realised that, being able to afford outfits and new weapons got SO MUCH EASIER OH MY GOD.
