I Spent most of today grinding out the many side quests required to craft the ultima blade in Kingdom Hearts 3. I mean technically I've been working towards that off and on the whole time-but today I got serious about it and pulled it all together. The gummie ship battles are the worst bit of that.

I completed the main story, and today I did the post game side quests to get all the hidden documents that give more lore info. I also took down the optional super boss (the hardest boss in the game that isn't a ship battle anyway). I was level 70 and took it down quite easily. Glad I didn't wait till I was 99 for it. I did have to use one elixer, so that is something. It was certainly a challenge.  Edit: oh and the kupo coin saved my butt one time when I didn't heal quite fast enough, thank goodness for auto-life being a thing once a battle as long as you buy a new coin when you use it. |

Restarted my RE 2 run (I feel like I used too much ammo).
Also got the Batman Arkham games (they were on sale) Starting with Asylum and the colors seem like they pop more, and the combat feels slower than I remember.
Also occasionally playing For Honor since they added the Black Prior (sword and kite shield) who I kinda like using so far, pretty happy that the new heroes for year 3 won't be gender locked (I think For Honor is one of the free games for PS Plus, same for Hitman 2016 too).

I gave Apex Legends a try, and my feelings are mixed. On the one hand, the community's generally been pretty good and I really like the core gameplay...on the other hand, I'm really not very good at the core gameplay, and it's frustrating to wander around the map for ten to twenty minutes then die within seconds of seeing an enemy for the first time. It kind of reminds me of Planetside 2 in that regard, but without the fairly quick respawn times. I have a feeling it'd be more fun played in a group instead of with randos - again, a lot like Planetside 2.

I'm playing multiple games right now.  I know so few people who've played the original Deus Ex. It's a shame - it has a lot of flaws, but it's also a classic for a reason. |

dmc1001 Is the Cthulhu game any good? Eh. It's not terrible but there's a lot of sneaking around. I think it's more of a linear story than RPG. |

Played some Soul Calibur VI (waiting on them to release the 1st CaS pack, and announce the next DLC character). Beat Arkham Asylum; going to do the combo & predator challenges to get 100%, then beat it on Hard next. Still like the Scarecrow sequences (I also liked the voice actor they had in Asylum, he fits scarecrow more than who they got in Knight imo), still think it'd suck to be a superhero (alot of Arkham guards and employees died, that's pretty miserable). Anyways Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are still the best Batman and Joker. Oh, it was a total surprise for me but the guy who voiced Bhelen voices Arkham Riddler, I should've known considering how insufferable both of them are. Hitman 2 had an elusive target in Hokkaido, which means that I can probably get the Hitman (2016) level suit with gloves. I'm pretty sure this was an older elusive target too, surprisingly easy to do too had to find out who the target was since he used plastic surgery and there were 3 unique npcs to pick out, a laptop on the 2nd floor had the info and I just had to push the target off the balcony (it was the nose surgery guy for me, and he was hanging out in the garden area). |
