Friday the 13th dropped for backers today. I would love to say that it's awesome, but I was only able to play one match today (and I died third.....LOL). Twice, the match ended early because of host connection. And then the servers crashed. YAY! my husband got this game, but he has not played it yet. Probably a good thing if the servers crashed lol |

Probably a good thing if the servers crashed lol Yeah, he's better off just holding off a few days. As of right now, I've still only been able to play that first match that I played yesterday. I haven't even been able to get into a public lobby since yesterday morning. The servers are up, but they just can't handle the demand. Yesterday evening, I spent 3 hours just 'searching for sessions'. Three times, after 30 mins of continuous searching, I was put in a private lobby. Which does me no good because I don't know anyone who has the game, so I can't actually play. About a dozen times, it's randomly timed me out and kicked me back to the menu. This morning, I tried again and waited for 30 mins before getting kicked randomly again. And now I'm back and trying again. I'm currently at 9+ mins with nothing. I get that it's part of modern gaming -- having to wait like crazy when a multiplayer game first comes out. But it's really fucking bullshit, if you think about it. I paid $50 for this game and, in the first two days, got about 10 mins of playing. Bull-fucking-shit. UGH. |

Over the weekend I took a break for HZD to play 'Everyone has gone to the Rapture'. I wanted something short and story focused. I had gotten as one of the free monthly PSN+ games.
I enjoyed it but I definitely would not recommend paying full price for it. The story is really nice though even if the exploration is completely hampered by the incredibly slow walking speed.

Slowly replaying Inquisition and when I have some leftovers of the free time, I'm trying to farm lootboxes in Overwatch to get my anniversary Tracer skin. But nope. Lootboxes hate me. Instead of Tracer I got Mei.  |

I'm the sort of person who likes to have everything on a checklist and maybe I could be persuaded to drop some money on boxes if I felt I might get quite a bit of event stuff, or at least enough duplicate gold to buy some of it (so if the gold prices for skins/emotes were lower). But if I know I won't have a snowball's chance in hell to do a "completionist run" of the event, anyway, I don't even really bother farming anymore because I know that excel-sheet-loving part of my brain won't get any enjoyment out of it. I'll just be saving up what I need for the Zenyatta dance emote. |

But i imagine people who spent gold on the dance emotes would be upset (i saved up for Zen dance too). At the very least they need to extend the event, if not put out a temprary XP buff to help people get boxes faster. Like 200% exp during the event... |
