I'm currently playing Elex. I thought it being 67% off might be enough for me to see past my saltiness of its straight-only-romances but alas, no. Having met certain male companions I'm about 100x saltier that I can't romance them when compared to the actual options, especially given your first meeting with two of the guys. *Sigh.* Still having fun exploring the world and the story and concept of cold v's emotions, but can't help but think I'd enjoy it a hell of a lot more had I the option, not to mention get more replay value. I've only picked up one of the romance options so far. I'm just hoping that when I finish her companion quest along with the other ones once I get her, that I don't get romance forced on me.

Since Fire Emblem's final DLC came out in February, I felt sort of obligated/excited to replay all the routes with the new characters in tow. It's a very weak excuse...the fact is I just really enjoy the gameplay. I wish there was more than 3 M/M romances though, but what can you do. I'm on my third playthrough which is the Silver Snow Route.: I won't be doing the Crimson Flower route probably since I played through that in January, plus it'll be something to look forward to next time I get an itch-maybe. The newest (third) m/m romance is pretty decent. He has that over feminized look thing going on-but his voice actor is quite great, and the character is well written. So basically if you look past the design, there's something to be enjoyed there. However-the final support sadly sounds far more like a business arrangement than a marriage proposal. Even though it is clearly the latter.

Currently still playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX, which I bought two days ago. Already finished the main story. Huh. I was under impression the originals felt a bit longer and somewhat harder to get through but it was nice revisiting these characters and setting. It certainly brought me to tears at certain scenes! ^^
Will do some more post-game quests before either restarting it again. Either that or picking up my old Explorers of Sky game 'cause that's my favourite in this spin-off series!

I've been playing Final Fantasy VII Remake. I am on chapter 8 (of 18). I have been enjoying it, but I haven't gotten a day to really play it all I want yet. Probably Tuesday I'll make some good progress.
It's a short game from the looks of it, and I already spoiled the ending for myself (somewhat). It was hard to resist once I saw there was controversy online, so I had to see what the fuss was about before I purchased the game. It made me want the game more oddly enough.

I'm about halfway through chapter 16 at this point. I have still been playing only in small bursts really, but I have enjoyed it. I'll probably finish the first run this week. I have to take advantage of a new game plus (or chapter select) though since I missed a few things (plus the chapter nine quests that you can't do all of in one run). I don't think I'll get all the trophies for this, as I am really bad at one of the mini-games. It's basically a rhythm game and I guess I have none. The sad thing is there's 2 versions of the same game, and I took forever completing the first version of it-and I thought I did it!! Only to get hit with the harder second version later in the game. I felt defeated. The good news is other than the trophy there's no huge reward for completing either of those mini-game chains. both of them only require beating the easiest setting to get quest completion. Though I did struggle even with that on "pull ups". My Tifa is not stronk!

So I just beat Pokemon Sun. Which I managed to do pretty quickly since I used XP multipliers... Not sorry, I don't have the time or patience for grinding. So a bit of a backround - I'm jumping around in the series. Long ago I played Crystal and Sapphire (gens II and III). The after many years I beat FireRed, HeartGold, and Alpha Sapphire last year. - I really like my final team, didn't have the issues I had in AS - Jalapeño/Incineroar is the best starter, I will be taking no further questions - Donald Trump kept chasing me throughout the entire game... - It's weird that, once you bump the resolution, the biggest graphical jump came in this game and not with the move to the Switch. Humans can finally be human sized! It's really charming and pretty - The dialogue still needs a lot of work (Lillie's "I don’t like seeing pokemon get hurt, but" times infinity...), but the game made me laugh quite a few times. Like the scene, where 2 team skull grunts were arguing about a clothes mix-up, one of them said she should write her name on it, and the other went "sure, but our names are all Grunt" or this - I missed 3 generations, so maybe this was gradual, but they really cut a lot of stuff that was there just to fill time. Most oponents have one Pokemon and the trials are way less grindy and linear than the gyms - Hau, Kukui, and Olivia are neat - the moment the Ultra Space popped up I was expecting something like Junji Ito's Hellstar Remina (a horror manga), for some reason. It still ended up being pretty dark, surprisingly - Nice B-) - the soundtrack was great ( the item pickup regional remix was a nice touch), and I can't get enough of the Hau'oli theme What I didn't like - a game set on islands should not have the least amount of swimming of any of the games I played... - they really need to bring back the first Pokemon in the party running after you - the intro felt like that bit from Crystal, where the old man showed you every building in town, but this time that laster for an hour - the game tells you you can do some of the stuff in any order, and then forces a specific order - the game really wants you to know that Olivia is an adult woman, who is single and has no children. That was really weird One more point, some idealogical ranting - since gen 3, I think, they've been reacting to the criticism that the core mechanic is basically dog fighting. Archie, N, and you know who in Sun all make valid environmentalist points, and the games ridicule and villainise them for it. Lillie telling me to catch Solgaleo to give him "a home" was pretty much the peak of "but Pokemon actually enjoy this." Anywho, after Sun, I can't go back and play the games I missed (Diamond/Pearl, Black/White, and X/Y)... There are way too many improvements and the normally proportioned characters make even the ones from X/Y look bad. I'm wondering how the remakes are going to continue from now on. They did the first 3 gens, but Let's Go was yet another gen I remake. So will they now do Johto again (which I wouldn't mind, the nostalgia is strong), or will they do Diamond/Pearl now? So Lee VFerreira93 , how are you enjoying the switch games? How do they stack up to Sun/Moon?

It was hard to resist once I saw there was controversy online, so I had to see what the fuss was about before I purchased the game. It made me want the game more oddly enough. What's the controversy online about? I just started playing Conan Exiles yesterday via Steam, when I started the game in single player there was no option to set nudity and dong size in character creator so my character was partially clothed. I googled and it turns out if you play single player you have to set the nudity in the settings, also it's only partial nudity (which I guess means tits and pecs) in North America but full nudity in Europe. I st it to full nudity after I started playing the game, so far I've only seen clothed characters, so I don't know if that's because I set it after I started playing or if it's because I'm playing on Steam If you play the game on PC be sure to set it to windowed full screen in settings, if you play in fullscreen there's a bug where your mouse pointer won't line up with the icons on screen, I couldn't select the button to craft icons in the crafting screen until I switched to windowed full screen

So Lee VFerreira93 , how are you enjoying the switch games? How do they stack up to Sun/Moon? I adore the Sword and Shield games. I wasn't overly fond of the new way they did things in Sun and Moon though-so it was nice to go back to gyms for me. I'm old and set in my way I guess? Also, the graphics are great to me, and I don't mind the few odd things like the trees looking bad (I mean who's staring at trees in pokemon anyway?). I enjoyed shield so much, that I bought Sword later on so I could have a complete regional dex in shield and play sword over and over again. What's the controversy online about? They changed the ending to where you defeat the guardian of fate so the events of the original game may not play out the same way in this version. People are freaked out cause they wanted a direct remake of the original story.
Though honestly when they said they were doing multiple games-that idea was dead in the water. So I'm curious to see how it works out.
Honestly, I always thought the original's story sort of derailed at the end anyway.

Rouccoco As for me, Sword&Shield were not as good as some of the previous ones in regards to the story itself. I liked the mechanics of Dynamax and Gigantamax as well as how the Wild Area lets you explore a good amount of areas with several different pokemons popping up. I dont know if I'll be getting that expansion (Isle of Armor + Crown Tundra) but the more I see about it, the more intrigued I get x)

I guess I always like the story and catching pokemon the best and fights are always kind of a necessary evil, so the new no gym approach kinda cut down on that. Might be because I always went with fire starters and they're kind of broken (you can pretty much use just them to beat the games). I was gonna complain about the dex, but apparently they added Incineroar? So I'm good now 👍 as well as how the Wild Area lets you explore a good amount of areas with several different pokemons popping up. I do like that. Makes it feel more lived. Though this is odd that they had roaming Pokemon, but didn't let the one in your party run after you...

I especially love the badges in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum that you could shine up to make sparkle. Also, I really didn't like the random chaos of SOS pokemon or whatever they were called. The story is still pretty good, but as a reviewer I watched pointed out-during the main storyline there are far too many times where the current champion and other main characters are off dealing with really interesting sounding things. they just tell us to go do the gym challenge. I'm like "but I want to go save the day!" Still, in the end we do in fact save the day as usual-so I guess it all comes out in the wash. -shrug-

I just bought the game for a second time-playing on xbox this time. I don't know if I'll go for the 3 romance trophy or not. The first run is dedicated to Jaal though. I'm weak! Part of me wants to just not bother with that achievement on Xbox. I don't have many on there anyway. I just wanted to see Jaal's ass in 4K.

It's so nice to have some decent gear early on and not have to do filler tasks for xp (that's not worth the time sink)
