My two favorite Isabela songs.  The Chubby Isabela mod is super cute! It goes with a lot of the dialogue about her (looking @ Aveline), and I know in a romance femHawke complains about Isabela stretching out all her dresses lol... good DA2 mods seem so rare too smh  LOOOOOOOVE.  |

Isabela is the reason I always play the same Hawke, even the same class. Purple FemHawke, dual-wield rogue. I loved her from the very first second and her VA is simply AMAZING. I'm surprised that Victoria Kruger isn't a very popular voice actor. I still just can't decide whether I like Izzy or Leliana more. I was asked this question so many times and I still don't know  I once tried to play rivalmance with Izzy. It was interesting, I admit. But I prefer her friendship-romance path. My FemHawke isn't saint, in my headcanon she did some questionable things to keep her lil sis and mother safe and this is why she didn't judge Isabela. Also... who can resist that booty? |

Dragon Age II was the game where I realised that with a voiced protagonist, I really enjoy playing as a woman. Originally it was because I preferred Jo Wyatt's dry take on sarcastic Hawke to Nicholas Boulton's more pantomime delivery, and as others have mentioned, there's no better pairing for a sarcastic female Hawke than Isabela. Outside of the romance, my favourite moment is bringing her along on Aveline's loyalty mission. That's comedy gold right there. I also like how, as the game goes on, Aveline and Isabela's hostility decreases and they grow to respect one another. They seem so different and each has weaknesses but in the end they are both strong women who know how they want to live their lives, and they are my favourite companions in DA2. |

As much as I love Sarcastic FemHawke, I don't always pick this option during dialogues. I couldn't break Merrill's heart after hearing this either. I am such a softy. Then I tried to play without even sleeping with her, but I couldn't resist her. |
