She's pretty much my favorite LI in any DA game, if not in all of Bioware. Beautiful and complex, the best match for my Hawke. 
Favorite Isabela moments? Any headcannons you all have?
Well, I kind-of think of my Hawke and Isabela's realtionship developing differnetly than how it's done in the game. In the game they have sex, Hawke awkwardly mentions love, presses on it a bit and then it's dropped until nearly the end.
In my head, they didn't. They kept having fun together -- Hawke was comfortable with the idea of having something where he didn't have a responsibility for. They were just close friends who had fun together...really close friends. The kind who developed their own in-jokes, who would bicker and banter about things the other did when they were out of Kirkwall for any of their myriad adventures, who slowly started to miss the other when they weren't there.
It all comes to a head during the duel with the Arishok. She went back and actually brought back something she took for him. He dueled the Arishok and nearly died for her. Things started to get real, so they both kind of left it out of fear. Then Aveline got Varric to use his connections to find her for an invitation to her wedding. There may or many not be a fic in my head about those two using it to try to get the two knuckleheads back together.
