I know people will say it would open up pandora's box of everything be called to be bi, but it's the only fair way to fix the romance imbalance-so it should happen and BioWare should just have to take the bullet for whatever backlash they get. They are the ones that fucked us over after all. |

I can totally see how that one reviewer thought he was in a relationship with Jaal as Scott. You never get a Flirt option but you definitely never get told off, plus the whole damn narrative is freaking tight between Jaal and whatever Ryder you choose. |

I want to stay hopeful that they'll restore Jaal's m/m content, it's dumb and irrational but until that last patch hits I want to believe there's still a chance. Even if it ends up being clunky  If the worst hits, at least there's still fanfic  I'm just so glad for all those Jaal/BroRyder fics out there, even if there's a small number. They're doing the lord's work. To think a mere rejection line from Jaal would've made a lot of us give up on bi Jaal... Eh, I'm still hopeful, just a kernel of hope ya dig? The lack of a rejection scene, Bioware's queer baiting before and silence after release, and the lack of m/m content in general, is just so frustrating. It's a bigger issue than just Jaal, but restoring him is really the only way I can think of them getting any good will from us without rewriting large chunks of the game. Emails and scene fixes/extensions are not enough. |

Honestly, you'd think the Jaal romancers would want them to fix Jaal's bisexuality, because it seems clear that something about his romance is bugged after they deactivated the first flirts. Even LC was complaining about the pacing being messed up. Maybe if they actually did #makejaalbi then it would also fix the issues in the Sara romance too.

And it's the same scene with Scott, only Scott never has the option, but he doesn't get a definite "no" either. Just stupid. I'm way too old and acquainted with corporate nonsense to believe that bi!Jaal will actually be patched in... and yet here I am secretly still holding out hope that bi!Jaal will be patched in because it really just seems like restoring something that should always have been there in the first place. |
