The eye colors - WTF. My main consular used to have pretty dark brown eyes. They changed to baby poo light brown. I actually spent CC to change them to a darker brown (which still isn't as dark as it was originally). The new fp is really pretty. It's just way too full of 'tank' mobs and the bosses have ridiculous amounts of health. Even on my dps consular it took me almost 2 hours. It's not difficult at all, it just takes forever to whittle everything down. Not going to attempt it on a tank or healer, I have better things to do with that much time. I was expecting some actual story to go with the new fp, but there wasn't any. The fp was the story. Highly disappointing. I realize they are trying to give group players more game to love, but as a solo player it makes me much more likely to want to unsub.

I realize they are trying to give group players more game to love, but as a solo player it makes me much more likely to want to unsub. Totally agree on all of it. Most of my characters have had their eye colours ruined to the point I don't want to take my Warrior or Sentinel through until they're looking normal. I can't even hide my Warrior's now ugly corruption because his original dark brown eyes are now light and they just don't look right. I hope they get it fixed, some of the colours would be nice as extra options but not replacers. Flashpoint was definitely pretty but so tanky. My main Consular must have spent just over an hour going through it - though it was quicker second time when I found you could just ignore all the adds the droid boss spawns because they just keep respawning fast and don't seem to do much damage at all. I had Arcann decide he'd run off and start smacking a few who were aggroed on him and we both barely took any damage from it but they still have stupid amounts of HP for a story/solo flashpoint. The fight just went on forever because of the HP sponge and the fact it drops such huge aoes around it that my melee characters can't do a damn thing outside of maybe one ability. Like, nothing is really all that dangerous, it's just a slog, especially if you're on a non stealth class and are constantly getting hit with flashbangs and knockbacks. I do wish there was more story, a few seconds of Theron was not nearly enough - and I totally agree, I'm a solo player and if they're going to short us on putting the 'story' in a flashpoint then they need to do a good job of it. Having to wait a few more months for the finale is going to suck.

Honestly, I don't understand the way they do the whole 'story Flashpoint' thing - if it's meant for a solo player, why are enemies still having such ludicrous amounts of health. Like it's one thing when it's a Flashpoint featuring multiple players, but when you intentionally design an option for solo players, why not knock the bosses down to manageable health, considering you know players are going through on their own?

My zabrak trooper used to have yellow eyes and now they're bright white and it's kinda awful.

*Pokes the thread.* So what did those who play a Smuggler or Inquisitor think of the lackluster companion returns? It was nice to get them back outside of using the terminal but boy was it underwhelming. I'm also wondering if Bioware has just forgotten about the Consular and their companions at this point.

Yeah, poor consulars. Talk about getting no love. That's why mine is sitting in the Mando chapter never to be touched again unless we hear something for them.
I thought the Nikos reunion was sweet. I wish it had been longer, but what was there was nice. Surly pirate tearing apart Eternal fleet ships looking for his hunny.
The Corso/Risha thing was just...not as nice? I did the non-romanced version on my boosted smuggler, but I did watch the romanced version. I found it pretty disappointing.

Yeah, sadly my Consular is my main so he has gone through everything and is feeling pretty abandoned by his old crew at this point. I didn't romance anyone on my Smuggler or Inquisitor during the class story so just got the normal returns. Andronikus's was pretty nice if short. It was pretty neat that he'd been trying to find the Inquistior, though these alerts feeling like they're supposed to be set just after finishing KOTET makes me question him eagerly returning to an Inquisitor who went with the Republic on Iokath but hey, I won't complain that he joined me as I was pretty concerned about that. Risha and Corso was pretty lackluster given it was a double return in one scene. It was nice to get them back but I can imagine it would have disappointed those who romanced either of them.

I still haven't finished a class story lol but I finally got it up and running on my laptop today and it works much more smoothly so I should finally get to do so. Just did one part I didn't like though on Jedi Knight class: emperor's fortress my team failed and I apparently got mind controlled and did apparently bad things in a weird and poor transition. Wish I had more control of that

Wish I had more control of that I don't mind that part, it adds more drama and there's a part later in the KOTET expansion that just fucks my Knight up even more but I just wish we had details, that we'd see what the Knight did rather than just being told 'bad things happened.' Like what kind of bad things? Did they kill people whilst controlled? Did they actually torture people before we do the Kira part? or did we just do a bit of training and smack some droids around like... I mean the worst part is having no control over it and your character getting stuck with those memories. Considering 'falling to the dark' and becoming Sith is literally the most horrific thing my Knight could go through considering the back story past I have for him, I'm kinda pissed we can't have them react more to it outside of one little quest on Rishi much, much later. But I'm glad it runs better on your laptop, I hope you're able to play more.

Wish I had more control of that Man, my entire attitude all through Chapter 2 of the Jedi Knight story is 'why am I being forced to go along with this stupid insane stupidity?' Not just a commando raid on the Emperor, but you idiots actually think you can REDEEM the bastard?' Like, points for sheer chutzpah, but this is the stupidest idea in the whole of the Star Wars universe, and I include the original EU in its entirely in that...

I wanted to explore his dark side if the story seem fit for it and I thought this would be the moment, but then I couldn't do so. Oh well, maybe in the expansions I'll explore it. While its nice they want to twist what Mace Windu does in the prequels, it doesn't make these jedi seem very smart, specially when there wasn't a plan B set. Don't think its a bad idea, but the execution was poor. I can't help but feel a lot of interesting story elements rush out a lot in this game and ultimately fall flat on execution.

Scourge is worth it though. He is indeed. Now he just needs to come back already and let my Knight smooch him.

Brilliant. Can't access story mode of Shadow of Revan prelude Flashpoints You should be able to, they usually default to story mode when you're doing the content. Do you not have them under the solo flashpoint list? Try abandoning whichever mode you have (veteran I'm assuming?) and try talking to the npc again to see if you can get story? I've never had that problem before in all the times I've gone through SoR.

Apparently SoR Prelude hates Inquisitors I tried couple of fixes, then I just did Korriban and Tython with a group. The rest seems to be working as intended.

Very weird, I've taken at least three Inquisitor's through and not had that issue. I'm glad it seems sorted now at least.

I finally finished my Jedi Knight storyline. And yes Lord Scourge, its true all of it. He ended up being my favorite companion on that story, love the back and forth about trying to turn each other to each's side lol. Seems a bit of a missed opportunity for a romance though. I also finished Rise of the Hutt Cartel, that was ehhh, just felt like a long planetary arc. I did laugh and cry though cuz I remember the whole "the gay dlc with Makeb full of gays" articles, when in fact there was 0 for a jedi male.
So now I started Shadow of Revan, a bit odd how it feels. Huge major battles going on but you get no reaction from the big characters of these places. I know budget reasons may be a thing here, but it just felt odd, like maybe this ideas should have been used for the hutt cartel budget.
However, I just did my first flirt with Theron. Theron was like i need a drink, and I immediately dismissed Kira, "its my time Kira, farewell". Its hard to describe how nice it feels to finally see a flirt option on a male as a male after so long. I was almost convinced to keep my jedi the perfect saint jedi code guy, but nah. He saved the galaxy, he can do whatever he wants now, everyone owes him.

A scourge romance in vanilla would have been impossible considering he had no emotions. Even with that he's so much more interesting than Doc. When he returns though...different story.
