I always end up with a Purple Hawke, though I think I like it more because it is versatile lol. It feels more natural bouncing between Green and Red Hawke with purple as a base since Purple alone can be diplomatic (making a joke to dissolve tension) or aggressive (pushing someones buttons to piss them off)
EDIT: Also I feel so alone with loving custom Hawkes, I like Marian/Garrett design wise it is just I want to make my own dumb OC and see other dumb OCs lol

I like default Hawke (Garrett looks a bit older than a 25 years old man, but Marian is ageless – my opinion), just as default Shepard/Ryder, but I always create my own protagonists, no matter they look better or worse. My another reason for custom Hawke is, that all Hawke's is a different person as I imagine them (even if I probably very boring in RP games: every my playthrough is very similar in the decisions: I don't like to play as evil for example). Default Hawke ftw. Though I disagreed on how they transitioned Garrett's looks between engines. At lest they unlocked the preset, so I could tweak him.  |

I'm default Hawke trash, whether it's Garrett or Marian. I was just thinking today how they have two of my favorite character designs in the series. I believe the art direction called it, "biker mage." |

I like her quite a bit. My male Hawke, who I also like a lot, is full custom with a chosen preset and everything. |

I love default Hawke. You just can't match the awesome in CC imo.  SourceMy canon pt is a default Hawke/Merrill pt. I feel like a potato for it.  But I love the Merrill/Isabella/Hawke polyship and Isabella/Merrill also. |

I metagame too hard, so I have to go with diplomatic since it seems to get me where I'm going and fit my personal style well enough too.

This is why I found Hawke (and Warden) is my hero. The Inquisitor too nice for my taste. Okay, not always, but still. I just can't be diplomatic/nice for too long, I always try to be, but mostly failed: when I think, how nice I was, people just find me weird... I admit: I'm impatient, hot-headed, but cover by sarcasm. And I can play Hawke (and Warden) as I imagine, but I feel, that Inquisitor (and Ryder, Shepard) more limited, I know many people disagree with this opinion. |

I almost always customize my Hawke. I have a need to play a character with blue/grey eyes like myself. I also like to play characters with red hair. I wish ps3 had screen capture function like the ps4.

One of my favorite DA2 playthroughs was Red!Hawke who rivaled everyone except Merrill and Isabela. Getting punched in the face by Aveline was the highlight. Varric's banter with a rival!Hawke was pretty great too. |

One of my favorite DA2 playthroughs was Red!Hawke who rivaled everyone except Merrill and Isabela. Getting punched in the face by Aveline was the highlight.
