I actually like Liam quite a lot. I was surprised when I found out that so many people seem to hate him. Most of that surprise comes from the realization that apparently either 1.) there are fewer people who know real people like him than I would've thought, or 2.) some of them are people like him and don't want to admit it.  Seriously, though, real people like Liam can definitely be annoying at times. But like Liam, they can also end up being the most loyal and true friends one could ever have, especially once they learn to walk the fine line between enthusiastic idealism and This Is How Shit Really Works. I thought the writers captured this sort of person very well in Liam's character, and I found him ultimately endearing. And yeah, he does remind me an awful lot of a friend of mine, so I admit that I could be the tiniest bit biased. |

Me and my brother like to say "I'm Liam Kosta" in our best impression of his accent which is terrible LOL
But forreal we both love Liam and while my brother is happy with his rat lobster husbando Jaal like me, he wanted Liam too. Lul
