 I wanted to talk about various upcoming titles and recent releases without making a bunch of new threads that might or might not get interest, so here is a thread where you can talk about what titles you're looking forward to or your first impressions of any new releases you've picked up without needing to make a new thread about it. Feel free to share news, theories and wishlists for whatever you're looking forward to right now. Do remember to use tags for plot heavy spoilers, though! I'm really looking forward to Ni No Kuni 2, and I'm sure there's others I don't remember right now. I recommend Persona 5, despite its general fucked-up-ness.  I'm not really enjoying The Last Guardian, honestly, and I would trade it in without finishing it, but Trico is so cute and I don't want the game snobs to kek at me. ;__; |

But maybe I should rethink it.  I'm looking forward to Red Dead Redemption 2 the most of anything right now. Also, The Last of Us Part II. |

I recently finished Prey, which was fun but I'm not sure if I'd recommend it. It has a lot of frustrating elements.
I've posted my thoughts elsewhere but I'll summarise them here.
It does have one of the few LGBT AAA Protagonists (female Morgan is gay), a very important side mission feature a lesbian couple and some fantastic world building via emails & voice recordings. Its combat goes from fine to fun & its crafting is very good & very straightforward. The load times are completely murderous, transversing the environment can get very frustrating and no matter what the game tells you, you can't 'play your way' there is definitely a wrong way to level your character and the post credit ending is bullshite.
As for games I'm looking forward too: I heard yesterday that there is going to be a Life is Strange 2. I really enjoyed the first one, I cried for like 10 minutes when I finished it and while I'm not sure what they'll be doing with it, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.

Okay, masterpost of everything that EBGames says is coming out for PS4: Lol, I don't like MMOs, but if I had a halfway decent internet plan, I would be REALLY tempted by FF XIV Complete Edition for the PS4. In fact, I am tempted anyway. But I don't have a good internet plan, so there's no point.  I also wanna get the remastered FF XII. I never actually finished that one. Also, I just realised Balthier wears shoes with out socks. Yuuuuuuuuuuck.  I kiiiiiiinda want Agents of Mayhem, but it also looks kinda crappy? If I wasn't so thirsty for the Hollywood character, I would have no problem passing it up. HOLY SHIT I JUST LEARNED THERE'S GONNA BE A LEGO MARVEL SUPERHEROES 2! I also kinda want the Spider-Man game that Insomniac is working on, though we haven't seen much of it yet. I don't normally go for movie-based games, though. I prefer stuff that is adapted straight from the comics. Elex looks interesting, but there's not much information yet. |

It's kind of funny that Rockstar, a company known for having been super controversial, made their most progressive game a high school theme. But I guess they're not controversial so much for being progressive as like.. you can murder hookers.  |

Would've been better if they'd expanded more on it it tho. I didnt even know you could choose gender at first, but this is some big plus for me as most burly manly men.. well just doenst gel too good for me, I need androgyny to flourish.. Persona 5.. I heard that their localization is wank and I have a dislike against this casual homophobia used as a joke.. Idk, maybe I'm just too old for this shit? So I'll play prey for realsies.. |

Rockstar are dicks that way. >_> Does anyone here play 3DS? There's only a couple things I want that I know about. I'm really looking forward to RPG Maker FES. I had a lot of fun with RPG Maker XP back in the day, but VX Ace wasn't as much fun for me, because there was an idea I wanted to do but couldn't because they didn't have face sprites for animals. Does anyone know if Rpg Maker MV has face sprites for animals? This is important information to me, lol. ANYWAY, back to 3DS: I also want EverOasis, it kinda looks like RuneFactory/SimTown in a desert, and it's cute as heck. Culdcept Revolt looks interesting too, purely because I have no idea wtf is going on, lol. And MONSTER HUNTER STORIES. I don't like the main Monster Hunter series, but I am totally down to raise monsters from eggies and ride them around. |

If anything he seemed to treat the servant boy better than the other soldiers treated the peasant women, from the limited interaction I remember. Or the rebel leader did, tbh.  |

I am looking forward to Life is Strange 2 and I pray there will be gay stuff again Also Destiny 2. Not a fan of the first one, but I really hope this game will do well and improve the story aspect. I freaking adore the aesthetics and Destiny and I really want a good sci-fi multiplayer game I can play with my friends. Also it's gonna be on pc this time so... 👀👀👀 Another thing I am looking forward to is that Uncharted DLC with Chloe and Nadine. Both of my fav characters from the games working together is making me all happy. God, I love Chloe so much I cannot wait. |
