When I was in HS my two best friends and I use to get together everyday and take turns playing this game after school. (We Love Katamari) This song use to relax me so it will always be a favorite. I mean this is what it really sounds like when you play though...  |

Yay love videogame music! Dragon Age Inquisition is by far my favorite soundtrack in a bioware game, the music is just so top quality even on the dlcs. Besides the main theme, I also love the Dark Solas theme, it made that encounter be so much more epic:
I lovw the Uncharted theme as it plays on the game menu before you play, already hyping you to play with that sense of adventure:
The Batman Arkham games also featured some pretty epic music too:

Crimson already posted Suicide Mission, which is the best. Here's some other stuff that is also good. Europa Barbarorum, a mod for Rome: Total War focusing on realism and historical plausibility, had its own soundtrack by Morgan Casey and Nick Wylie. Some of the tracks are evocative as shit. {caution: amazing inside}From the Pahlavan cataphracts marshaling for combat:
to the Hellenic phalangitai facing them down:
to steppe warriors riding down from the Central Asian wastes:
and the misty forests of northern Europe:
Also, Ace Combat as a series has superb music. {amazing orchestral pieces}Liberating the capital city from enemy invaders in AC6:
Epic Latin chanting as you destroy a space station that's deorbiting onto a city in AC5:
A final duel against a long-lost friend-turned-foe in ACZ, with a reprise of the AC5 theme:
Flying top cover for a D-Day style invasion in the middle of a massive storm in AC04:

Endless Legend has absolutely wonderful soundtracks. They use orchestra so well. My favorite one is this. The second half always gives me a chill.
On lower-bit music, I love this. It makes me so happy when I hear it.
And of course I will have to mention Doom 2016 soundtracks which are my workout music. BFG Division is my fav.

I really love Persona 5's J-Pop/Funk fusion thing that they've going on. It's the first time I ever really noticed video game music, and I don't even mind that they have maybe 2 songs that they just use over and over again, lol. Everytime I boot it up, I let the opening cinematic run, when I always skip it on everything else
Also, everyone HATES FF X-2, but I like it, and the opening song is one of my favourite parts (does it count if the song is being sung by characters in-game?)
