Was anyone else here disappointed in season 3 of Rebels? after the awesomeness of season 2, especially the finale, i was just :/ about it Ummmm... I'm actually having trouble remembering it?? Oh, well, there was Obi-Wan, which was great. I thought Sabine's story was meh, even though I LOVE Sabine. I liked her training with Kanan and Ezra; that was awesome, and I loved that father/daughter relationship she seemed to have with Kanan. The Dark Saber is cool. But once we met her mom I was just like, meh. I found Thrawn just kind of annoying as a bad guy? But was kinda creepy so that was cool. I liked the heavy emphasis on Kallus, who I feel is a breakout character. I mean, it had its ups and downs. |

Force Awakens is actually my fave, lol. My dad was super into the OrigTrig, but I never got into them as a kid. I have new appreciation for them now, but that came about as a result of Force Awakens. I find the new trio more interesting, honestly. I have no experience with EU stuff, so maybe it's been done and I didn't know, but seeing stormtroopers portrayed as real men and women who can have doubts and fears, and even switch sides was a real eye-opener. Rey, Finn & Poe are all way more interesting, well developed characters in my eyes than Luke or Han, who both fall into pretty basic character archetypes. Leia deserves some props for subverting some of the typical damsel bullshit, though she got over Alderaan being destroyed in a hot minute. Also, Kylo Ren is a great villain, specifically for the reasons that everyone hates him so much.  Rogue One was blah. Like, it was well written, the acting was good, it is a very well made film in the professional sense, but I just CANNOT get invested in a story with such an obvious forgone conclusion. |

I like Han and Leia, but I'm not crazy about them or anything. I don't think I ever reblog Han/Leia stuff. I like Leia so much more than Han; something about Han just rubs me the wrong way, not sure what.
For canon couples I'm way more into Hera and Kanan, Obi-Wan and Satine, and I guess we can consider Chirrut and Baze semi-canon? I think we were given the go ahead to think of them that way if we want?
Non-canon I love Ahsoka x Barriss and I feel myself growing more inclined towards Finn x Poe and Zeb x Kallus. I'm iffy on Kallus cause Zeb is, uh, kinda furry which freaks me out a little?! But hey, the heart wants what the heart wants.

I haven't finished catching up but it didn't live up to season 2 for sure. Thrawn is great, but the lack of a sith character and no Ahsoka has limited quite a bit what things they can do. |
