Andrew Mancer aw someday I'll play RE6 to see that homosexual subtext  it would be awesome if Crapcom Capcom make Chris an official gay character (because he never ever showed interest in women), and Crystal Dinamics making Lara bisexual as well (I would say lesbian for the new Lara, but I'm a total classic Lara trash and Kurtis is bae but he's in oblivion with classic Lara  I'm hoping this new Lara turns into the Lara I love someday)

I just wish Technomancer had a narrative mode. Anywho, I will try it again soon. I have a feeling if I find a build that works for me (even if it's one that doesn't seem great to everyone else) it will make the game easier. I just went with the staff and lightning powers, because they make the most story-sense and are "special" for Technomancers. Spiders games always seem to have a steep difficulty curve, and I dunno if that's intentional or just poor design, but I found that it got a lot easier as I levelled up. Maybe try grinding the caves in the starter city? Also, I dunno if this holds true for other skill trees, but I seem to remember that I was invincible while dodging. |

One day.... there will be female-only RPG. I can dream.  Yeah, I mean I love that the guys have Technomancer cos it is finally a game with a male protagonist that can have a s/s relationship but I just look at it and see yet another game where I'm forced to be guy for what seems like no reason. Hawke, Alex Denton & Morgan Yu were all pretty defined protagonists, who were a core part of the story and could be both genders. I think it is absolutely fair to be critical of Technomancer for this reason (though I still really enjoyed it). Bound by Flame is also by Spiders and it had gender choice (though no same-sex romance of any kind). We shouldn't have to sacrifice one for the other. I get that Spiders is a small developer with limited resources, but it's not like their CC is particularly varied. They could have made the limited options work with a female body. They HAVE female bodies in the game. The party includes fairly significant female characters. All the bodies are clearly just cut and pasted anyway. My suspicion is that they never even considered it, maybe for lore reasons. I don't remember if it was ever explicitly stated anywhere, but all the other Technomancers I met in the game were also male. That's not really a good excuse, though, in a game with (admittedly limited) character creation options. You shouldn't be crafting your world and story to exclude customers. That said, Spiders seems to pay attention to fan feedback. They added same-sex romance to Technomancer BECAUSE people asked for it after being disappointed by Bound by Flame. If players let them know that gender choice and same-sex romance are equally important to them, maybe they will allocate the resources for both. Of course, we might lose out in another area, like sidequests or something, but that's the trade-off we have to accept. At any rate, given what Spiders achieves with less, I have more hope for them than I do for BioWare currently. |

Grinding is often the key to getting ahead in games like these. so I will probably have to do that.  |

I think if my relationship was so rocky that I could be jealous of a video game character I'd be like I've luckily never been in a position to either be obsessed or have a partner be obsessed over a video game romance. I think the biggest threat would be more the time spent playing video games and not with the partner. But then...sometimes one needs a break from together time anyway! I think the biggest threat would be more the time spent playing video games and not with the partner. But then...sometimes one needs a break from together time anyway! Nothing wrong with needing time apart, but deffo an issue with so much time apart that you become jealous of your partner's relationship with a fictional character. B-) |

(I thought of Chloe and Liara at the same time). But as much as I love those two, the relationship between Max and Chloe is special for me  |
