I'm going to add some salt by having a moan about the romance options that weren't available: Aveline Cassandra Miranda Miranda especially, because apparently she, Jack, and Thane were supposed to be options - I do know there are audio files with FemShep & Liara discussing the romance at the end of LotSB. I absolutely adore that sexy ice queen with a hidden heart. However, I got over this heartbreak when I stumbled across several excellent fanfics shipping her with Jack, and became complete Jackanda trash. I know the pairing can be seen as problematic and trope-tastic, but seriously, there are some excellent fics out there with some amazing character development and story arcs. Aaaaaaaaaaand lots and lotsa smut, but good story too. Cassandra didn't make my list for this reason. I didn't bother with the mod since it would be completely silent (unlike Solas bi mod) and the romance was written specifically with a man in mind. But if she'd been f/f as she should have been she'd be way up there, sigh. I don't mind Jackanda though generally I'm not into hate ships. I'm actually...a bit iffy about mods (no offence to anyone who uses them, honestly!) I just find straight mods for the likes of Dorian/Sera to be a bit unsettling (dabbled a bit in the concept of conversion therapy in my youth, but that's not a story for here, lol). So, I kinda think it should work the same the other way? I think set sexualities for some characters make sense, and make it more realistic (hello, DA2 lol). And changing someone's sexuality feels off. However, I'm not a loon and I know it's just a game, so am not really anti-mod or anything. Also if a character was intended as bi but it was changed due to time/budget/EA bottling it over random Christians screaming on the internet, then go for it. I'm actually not a fan of such ships myself, usually. But I love both of the characters, and actually saw some parallels between them. Obviously there were issues - I love you, Miranda, but shove your blind apologist nonsense down that catsuit somewhere, plz. But a couple of authors actually addressed it really well, and I was surprised to find myself falling for them. Of course, given their dynamic it does tend to really skirt some boundaries with some of the NSFW content, which is a bit unsettling at times. But some really good stuff out there, too. I actually spit tea all over myself when Shep told them to just kiss already at the citadel party. Shep ships it, too!

I played through Dark Arisen once and it took foreverrrrrr because it's so (wonderfully) difficult. I would totally rent your pawns and play Dark Arisen again, but I am a lowly console plebe. As such, I spend my days crying that I can't play Dragon's Dogma anymore because it isn't backwards compatible at all. I also spend my days crying that Dragon's Dogma Online isn't available here. Basically I spend all my days crying and thinking about Dragon's Dogma, the game has ruined my life. A++ would ruin again Aww that sucks; the graphics look pretty decent on PC! Yeah that game kinda ruined me, too; I was obsessed with it for forever; I even made a third account but that Arisen/pawn aren't very high level so I never share it. is DD really that good? I have it, but have never played through it. My husband has played quite a bit, but he kept starting over just to make a new character so I have never seen much of the story. I didn't know there was romances in DD. I have it on console and I have Dark Arisen.

I didn't know there was romances in DD. I have it on console and I have Dark Arisen. It's awesome. There are nine classes to choose from (though you have to level up to get access to some), all variations of warrior, rogue, and mage. My favorites are assassin and magick archer. The atmosphere is amazing, especially if you venture outside at night.... talk about creepy. I vividly remember the first time a huge dragon ambushed me in the dead of night; I nearly shit myself LOL The combat is the best I've ever played; in addition to the various classes, there's the fact that you can climb onto beasts, including flying ones! The CC is fantastic; make a cute girl, make a cute boy, make an Amazon, make a hulking male warrior, make a hulking female warrior, make a fat character, make a tall character, make a teenage character, make an ancient character... so many hairs to choose from, and colors, and body shapes (there are ten different torso shapes alone). And nothing is gender-locked, including make-up. The romances, most will poo-poo them, and NO they are not BioWare romances I would put them closer to Skyrim romances. It can be tricky to end up with the person you want; you have to be willing to hit people who start blushing at you LOL because basically their affinity will go up the more you interact with them. But if you make sure the last person who goes "full blush" around you (and it helps to give them the marriage ring; I forget what it's called in game) then that person will be the one you rescue later on in the game, and you two will have a (VERY VERY BRIEF) moment. Afterward, they are at your house, but sadly they won't fight with you or anything, they just kinda hang out there lol Some people like the English voices, but personally I love the Japanese voices; everyone sounds really sexy lol

Lee thanks for the nice thread Favorite Romances ME: Kaiden ME2: Garrus, Thane, Jack, Miranda ME3: Garrus, Kaiden, Jack, Miranda DAO: Zevran, Alistair, Morrigan DA2: Fenris and Isabella DAI: Solas, Cullen, Cassandra, Iron Bull, Dorian Still need to do the FO4 romances You are ever so welcome! I'm always down to sex a robot, tbh. In Saint's Row I just do everybody, because it takes literally no time to see all the content anyway, lol. But the best part of the entire game is the Opposites Attract duet with Pearce (Pierce?). I banged everyone too. I think there was trophies involved in doing so maybe...but either way they were all more funny then hot, but I totally fell in love with Matt Miller. My friend Cassie and I would fan girl over him hard. Okay, I have to know now. What is wrong with it for you? I know about it from things I've read. I started a play with the intention to romance him on one occasion, but never finished that play or really even got started down that path. His initial excessive flirting and suggestive remarks make me uncomfortable. I've heard that the romance has a good payoff once you get past that (well, not for you, obviously), but I don't fancy forcing myself to get past it for that payoff. And I just don't find him that interesting. DAO is really the only game for me where David Gadier characters (other than Shale) don't knock my socks off. For me, the issue is that he is insultingly written to appease fragile straight bro ego. I know that it was written years ago and it was different then (he is, after all, only the second m/m option ever) and, at the time, I didn't hate it as much. But now, it just pisses me off. The only m/m guy and you have the option to kill him right away. And I remember vividly hearing people bragging about killing him before he could flirt with them. Then you have to go through multiple "Are you freaked out that I'm into guys?" "Is it okay if I flirt with you?" dialogues before you can even get started with him. And then he spends a huge amount of time talking about women that he's fucked. Outside of one story about a prince who was naked when he killed him, he does zero overt talking about his interest in males. It's all ladies. And it continues even after you've locked him into the romance. My poor Aeducan boy-scout Warden has to sit there and watch his boyfriend go on and on and on about Wynne's tits right in front of him. Straight bro toilet humor apparently outweighs the romance for gay guys. Frankly, my Warden can do better (Gorim....... ). Zevran sucks. Zevran is terrible. Add to that he's the romance that BioWare picked to shit on in all future sequels. Aww that sucks; the graphics look pretty decent on PC! Yeah that game kinda ruined me, too; I was obsessed with it for forever; I even made a third account but that Arisen/pawn aren't very high level so I never share it. is DD really that good? I didn't know there was romances in DD. I have it on console and I have Dark Arisen. I own it and the expansion both. I played through the tutorial and was just bored out of my head. The graphics were just not to my liking-I'm not usually a graphical ho...but sometimes it does matter. The combat also felt wrong for me.

In SR4 I screwed all the dudes, I couldn't do the ladies because I Just Cannot with m/f pairings if there's any other option. I'd rather screw nobody ever again than have to do a m/f pairing. Lol

I just want the next DA game to give two m/m options that are as memorable as Anders and Fenris... I WANT to have enough content between two full m/m romances that we CAN have robust husbando wars, instead of just being angry at Bioware for not giving us husbands worth fighting/arguing over.

Lol You could have changed genders long enough to F/F bang them. that game gives you a lot of freedom in that aspect! Though I don't think you should ever feel pressured to do anything (or anyone) you don't want to! -huggles-

Even though it's not a serious game? Like I would've had to start an entirely new female character to bang the women, and I was too lazy for that. Lol

I also want this for the f/f routes since there's never been a DA game with two super memorable, well-written f/f romances. I actually really liked both Bull and Dorian, and find them way better than what we got in the f/f department. And I'm not saying this just because I wasn't satisfied with either f/f route in DA:I. I want more complicated, well-written f/f routes that aren't just one-note. We've only gotten that from Sheryl Chee's f/f romances, tbh.

Stupid Reyes. Probably one of the best BioWare love interests thus far. And yet confined to a planet and a single mission that leaves him stuck in a seedy bar apparently without access to email or a shuttle for the rest of the game.

I thought she and Isabela were very different, and certainly Merrill is plot-relevant, being that she puts together an eluvian, and well, those do have some significant in the narrative!

Merrill could have been way better though. She was obviously written to appeal to a... certain demographic (the cute super young innocent girl who gets herself into trouble), and her romance felt very mediocre, especially on the f/f end.

Lol Nah, you can change genders even in the post game. Basically any time. You can have lots of characters under the same campaign. Again though, not a big deal, cause you aren't missing out on anything important.

Casandra is strangely masculine to me in game sometimes. I mean I know her mannerisms are all very feminine and her breasts are a force that can't be ignored-but she has that something that would confuse me in real life. She's so strong and forceful too. If she was a man, she'd be a hot KISA for men for sure.
