As @regulus was saying, I really don't want the show to become so predictable that we can guess everything correctly months in advance. Blow me away GoT, two Queens on the throne please. That would be awesome but we know Dany is probably going to marry Snow at this point. Predictable. As @regulus was saying, I really don't want the show to become so predictable that we can guess everything correctly months in advance. Blow me away GoT, two Queens on the throne please. As the Hound says, "fuck the King". It does not help that Snow and Dany are the more mainstream favorites, and there are a couple of rules when witting fantasy. Like do right with promises and foreshadowing.
Otherwise most of the readers hate it, which is sad I would totally be up for two Queens too! Queen of the Sea and Queen of the Sky! Fire and Salt! I guess fanfiction gotta to do its job for now. |

Those things made me very angry with the show, which made me love it if that makes sense. *whispers* I just wanna see the red keep get totally destroyed and that damn throne with it really.
I know, I'm probably an awful fan, I'll see myself out lol.

Not at all. I mean you being an awful fan. It is just most are expecting and shipping them. To tell you the true I would prefer something out of the blue, just like GoT is suppose to be but at this point I doubt it. The show popularity comes from characters like Dany/Snow/Arya winning.
For exemple I dislike the whole Brienne/Wildguy but the fandom seems to love it too. I just want the wildguy dead lel |

Yeah I don't particularly like the Brienne/Tormund ship either. Mainly because the show presented us with and teased the idea of a much better ship, Brienne/Jaime.
Fear not though, Tormund just got got told to go to Eastwatch, his chances of dying have gone up massively. If the Night King hits there, he's fucked lol.

I was actually a bit disappointed in ep 1 this season. Beyond Arya's opening scene (which was amazing), there wasn't much to the episode. I know they have to set things up for the rest of the season, but there's like 12 episodes left in all, and wayyy to much to wrap up.
I'm really not a fan of Jon or Dany either at this point. I'd be ok with Sansa and Tyrion tying the knot one more time as king and queen... but other than that, King's Landing can really just fall into the sea. |

Yeeeeaaahhh, I was a bit disappointed with ep1 as well. All the scenes were good (except Ed Sheeran whyyyy) but I just felt like there wasn't enough happening when there's only 12 episodes left.
I don't know, maybe it's because I was spoiled by the phenomenal, fucking brilliant episodes 6X9 and 6X10. The first 15 minutes of 6X10, the Sept of Baelor, was just some of the best TV I've ever seen in my life. Seriously.

Plus the person who spoiled the whole season got every single detail correct in the first episode and from the looks of the trailer for the second one hes spot on there too. No complaining though, its still exciting to actually see everything even if some of what is to come annoys me. |

Aight presumed spoiler rant I don't really have issues with the wall coming down or Viserion being turned into an Ice Dragon that'll probably be dope AF. My issue is with them pushing the whole Jon Snow is our lord and saviour shit. So presuming the leaks about his legitimacy and Rhaegar and Lyanna's wedding are true its seems obnoxiously convenient that he so happens to be 'the rightful king' like who TF cares about a rightful king now? Plus it shits all over everything Dany's done for the past 7 seasons because you know their going to find a way to make us sit through her losing everything or dying for Jon's greater good. I really hoped that the ending would deviate from something entirely expected but instead its probably gonna be generic solemn white guy hero saves the world and becomes king. Still nothing is set in stone and hopefully everything doesn't turn out that way... at least the books don't seem to be totally heading in that direction. |
