I have no knowledge of the leaks, but one scene in ep 1 made me think Dany may be in trouble: When Euron Greyjoy leaves to get Cersei "a priceless gift" my immediate thought was of the horn from the books that can be used to control dragons. I can imagine the Lannisters using that to turn the dragons against the unsullied army.
I'm just ready for Cersei to be killed off. The conversation she had with Jamie, when she repeated Tywin's line about creating a Dynasty that lasts 1000 years, ignoring the fact that there's nobody left to carry on that dynasty, just confirmed she's lost her grip on reality. She's just going to end up going all out Mad Queen from this point forward isn't she? Not sure i'll enjoy watching any of that.

I was thinking the horn, but it could also be one of the sand snakes for revenge, or Tyrion...for false revenge.
No matter what, I think Euron is there to balance the scales for Dany, he's gonna hurt her fleet badly I'm sure of it. She can't stay invincible, she has to run into trouble that puts her on equal ground with the other players.

Actor who plays Euron: "So each scene I’ve done with Euron, I pick a new thing I wanna show. ‘This scene I want to be charming.’ ‘This scene I wanna be a molester.’ ‘This scene I wanna kill someone.’ After this season, Ramsay’s gonna look like a little kid."
AAAAA I'M SUPER HYPED FOR HIM RIGHT NOW

This episode that just happened...hmph, basically. A really cool part was the 'solution' to the dragons Qqyburn came up with for Cersei. It's like the scorpion bolt used to kill Meraxes, one of Aegon's dragons.
Dany can benefit greatly from looking at history, studying how Aegon conquered Westeros so she can do the same (which she wants to, she wants to keep things as peaceful as she can, and if that fails then she'll burn shit). The thing is, her enemies can benefit from that same history too, as Cersei might soon.
The hmph I mentioned is because of lots of things I was waiting to happen that just didn't. Nymeria is back, oh she just fucked off, ok. Jon went down into the crypts, is he gonna find out he's a Stark/Targaryen? Or anything significant at all? Nope, he just strangles Baelish a bit and leaves, ok.

How many episodes are left? 12? 11? Because I'm really starting to feel like there's not enough happening. Maybe I'm just getting anxious, you know because the end is getting closer, it's all gonna be over before we know it so every second counts, and there's some scenes that are just kinda wasting time.

Again i'm somewhat... unmoved(?) by the episode. Nymeria was a huge tease resulting in absolutely nothing. I'm glad Arya is moving onto Winterfell, but of course, we won't get a Jon reunion just yet since he's already initiated the fast travel to Dragonstone. HOPEFULLY that means Arya will feel free to stretch her limbs, kick up her feet, and stick a knife in Baelish's throat.
I was yelling at my television set at the end though, seriously WHY IS THEON STILL A THING!? I was watching him cling to the flotsam just yelling "Drown you asshole!"
Am i wrong in assuming that if you're after a bittersweet ending you need some sort of buildup of hope before the finale? Cause if its just 2 seasons of watching shit go down the drain thats not bittersweet, it's just disappointing.
Rant over! Episode was meh

7x02 I swear to the old gods and new that if Euron kills Yara I'm gonna to enter in the screen and emasculate that bastard with my bare hands, I FUCKING HATE HIM ALREADY ... as we say in spanish, I had my cojones in my throat all the scene.... I dont feel pity about the Sand Snakes, I hope all of them die, Arianne should have been in the show... Gosh I hope Dany listen to Tyrion instead of Olenna... but who knows who is going to be right Arya galloping with Nymeria killing zombies, I can see this And Queen in the North edit. someone just spoiled me about something that will happen on twitter, fucking brat I wanna die I dont know if I want to know if it is true though... One of Dany's dragons die and it is turned into a wight, I mean I've been theorizing this a lot, but I hate knowing it for sure already

Watched Dragonstone last night, will watch the next episode tomorrow. Overall, I liked it and thought that it was a solid "setting up the dominoes" episode, but I fear the seven episode season means that it moved too slowly to be effective. S7E1 thoughts in no particular order That first scene was very satisfying. As soon as the wine came out I knew what was up, but that didn't make it any less enjoyable. I really want Meera to have a happy ending, but I fear she'll die to make Bran angst. She just looks and sounds so tired... I'm happy to see that Sansa isn't happily siding with LF. I just hope she stays that way and doesn't mess something up for everyone. Lyanna Mormont needs to stop being cute and tough or else the writers will kill her to make us all sad. The montage of Sam being an intern at the Citadel was suitably disgusting and tedious. The dragonglass discovery makes a fair amount of sense, though for some reason I suspected him to discover a macguffin. Good thing, too - that would've been too convenient. I'd forgotten how much I adore Beric Dondarrion's voice. It's lovely. Did anyone else find it weird that Cersei sent, like, nine nameless soldiers to keep the peace in the Riverlands? I'd think you'd want more than that. Man, Cersei's completely lost it and I love it. She's finally the evil overlord queen she's wanted to be since Season 1. I don't see Jaime making it out of this unscathed. Also, Euron sure loves the word "murder," doesn't he? I'm betting the "gift" is intended to be Tyrion's head or Ellaria Sand's. The scenery was gorgeous as usual, Dragonstone especially. That said, I fear that it didn't cover very much new ground - it was just wrapping up the logical conclusions to Season 6's finale. I'd like it a lot more if it had been the first episode of a typical ten episode season. I just hope the pace picks up before Episode 4...

Just gonna watch ep 2 now but that Ed Sheeran cameo was dumb af, jarring, forced, lame, lame, LAME. Also, asking Arya is she old enough to drink, dafuq, this is GoT, get out of here with that shit. Anyway, it was a decent opening episode, that cameo and that Lannister soldiers scene was terribad tho. Great to see the Hound back!

Also finding a ship at night is nearly impossibilite without radars or magic? so that scene makes no freaking sense to me.
Gonna to be really piss if they kill Yara or Ellaria too. They fuck up the Dorn storyline.
Also kinda sad that they did not use the sand snakes at all, it was cheap writing with no desire for character progression.

Oh god I didnt think it in that way now I'm more afraid for Yara's life Ellaria is gonna die and I dont care honestly but Yara is literally the only goodie character that is lgbtq, because Dany biness is books-only if you dont count her flirts with Yara ( ) I'm super tempted to see Yara's fate with those leaks... but I dont wanna do it I MUST RESIST

Without going into the leak, I never expected much aside from them catering to the straight fandom with John and Dany, happy ending with little dragons almost bet.

I dont care about incest between two adults honestly if they are siblings or aunt/newphew like Jon and Dany (a parent and their child tho, Woody Allen can burn in hell, grosssssssss), I dont care what people do with their lives, but Jon and Dany pairing is just... gross-like predictable and heteronormative, I hope GRRM wont do that .... :S your lack of excitement is not very reassuring oh my Yara, I love her I hope she survives this season at least edit. I mean I get that Theon is more important than her in the show, but she's as equal in the book, maybe Theon dies? I dont see this character surviving, characters that seeks redemption often die, and I dont see Theon ruling the Iron Islands...

Asha/Yara is with him also as a prisoner but shes not gonna be executed.

Ellaria's probably going to die, and I honestly don't feel too broken up about it. "We don't hurt little girls in Dorne..." I think Oberyn would be horrified at what his paramour and daughters have done to avenge him.
Yara, though, I'm not so sure about. I could see it going either way, but I'm betting that if she lives, Theon dies.
As a side note - does anyone know any good fantasy/sci-fi novels with well-written gay/bi characters?

The writing in this season feels significantly worse so far. It's painfully obvious they don't have GRRM's source material to fall back on. It almost feels like GRRM spun such a massive yarn that all they're concerned about now is wrapping it up and "paying it off" with scenes like the Arya meets some weird dog she thinks is Nymeria scene. Dany has becomes stupider than ever. Jon needs to be slapped repeatedly. Disappointed so far. The source material was always the blessing as much as the curse. GRRM is great at setting up things, but I've yet to see that he actually knows how to resolve the situations he builds up satisfyingly, considering he won't publish anything in probably the next 20 years or so aside from Wild Cards and supplementary ASOIAF books. At this point, with the myriad of additional storylines the books have (Fake Dragon, all the Krakens, the book version of the Dorne plot, the intricate politics of Essos, our dearly departed Cathy, Sansa's Vale marriage), he'll have to cut it all even shorter than the show does if he plans to finish in two books, which I really doubt he will. I think GRRM has always enjoyed the world and characters of ASOIAF more than the main plot, which is why he's already threatening to release yet another book of pseudo-history before TWOW. I can understand that, I'm the same when I make up worlds. It's just a shame that I'm very doubtful this story will ever have another ending than that presented by the TV show because while I like GRRM's writing a whole lot less than most people, I do think Westeros is fascinating and would have liked to see his conclusion.
