Sam's cutting skills are a bit sloppy though, he'll get the hang of it. Sam has had the most disgusting scenes so far. First the poop montage and now extreme exfoliation. Yuck. They need something to keep us on edge...because the story isn't right now.

How many direwolves do you think there are in Westeros? XDDDDD Also, Arya has wolf dreams, I dont remember if this happens in the show though, my memory is fuzzy, but she shares a link with Nymeria I liked what I saw about this season, even if I wont like Yara's fate and I'll cry a lot... god I hope she survives, plz Furry gods I don't know. There could be a number of direwolves. Not a large number, but it seems unreasonable to assume that while the Starks were out for a family stroll through the woods one day, they happened to come across the only living direwolves in all of Westeros. but it is stated in the beginning of the show that direwolves only live beyond the wall iirc and they are very rare in the north and almost mythical in the south, the only direwolf in Westeros is Nymeria

I think it's hilarious that greyscale would go completely extinct if the people of Westeros knew about the benefits of a skin rejuvenating Acid Peel. The cure seems so simple, painful yes, but simple, but the Maesters forbid it and hid the knowledge because one guy got contaminated trying it, probably because he didn't take the right precautions. I think I'm gonna get sick of Sam asking for something that will obviously save the world, but the Maesters keep saying "no, it is forbidden for reasons reasons blah blah".

It's like if we discovered life on Europa, it'd be pretty difficult to argue there isn't life elsewhere in the universe as well. But I'm just being difficult. You're probably right. I'm a Occam's razor person XD

Also, considering that direwolves and dragons have made appearances, what are the chances that we'll get to see a Kraken at some point? Hopefully we do, and it eats Euron's ship in an ironic twist.

Can ice dragons appear already? Well, I hope SOMETHING happens soon. So far this season is all set-up and there's only 5 more episodes to go! Pick up the pace Worthless Dans! 😡 And where the fuck is Bran already? Why hasn't he reached Winterfell yet? And why does Sansa keep questioning Jon in public? I'm no fan on Jon but he was totally right to tell her not to question him in front of their people. Also, how did Euron's Fleet manage to sail past Dragonstone to reach King's Landing without intercepting Dany's Fleet + the ships Yara and Theon stole? Makes no sense. If nothing of consequence happens tonight I'm gonna be really pissed. Arya's probably gonna meet another dog, and eat another meat pie. Dany will continue to be angry for no reason. Sansa will continue to be stupid and annoying. Jon will still be suffering from a Martyr Complex. Little Finger will be fingering someone. Hurray! It's all happening! 😒 If this episode is like the other two, I'm going to be seriously worried for the show. Such a brilliant show might go out with a whimper. The battle at the end of the second episode didn't feel that great to me, I looked at a behind the scenes video of it and I really appreciate all the effort that went into it, but it was over too quickly and was confined to a small space, even in the behind the scenes they said everyone was bumping into each other, and it was cut weirdly imo. Yes I know it was a pirate raid and they're meant to be quick and confined, but it was no battle of the bastards that's for sure. The attack on Casterly Rock and the fights on open fields with dragons will be better...right?

And it annoys me how Arya makes it from Braavos to the Twins at the speed of light, and pretty much everyone else travels really fast, but Bran travels at the speed of a snail.

Episode 3: Holy shit when Cersei dealt with the sandsnakes, that was entertaining, that was fucking perfect. The way she did it, with the same kiss, poetic. I'm realisng that Cersei's scenes are the most entertaining this season. Seeing the mad queen actually putting up a good fight (for now) while going a bit crazy is so awesome.
Seeing Jon and Dany argue like children was pretty frustrating and silly, I feel like the show is trying to create conflict between characters just for the sake of it (Littlefinger as an example is so damn pointless, just there to cause drama. UNLESS he actually does know Jon's father is Rhaegar and uses that to his advantage, that would be interesting.)
Bran is back, very good, and is scaring Sansa with his magic. "Oh yeah I could see you on one of the worst nights of your life, I could see ALL of it". Ok...
The Casterly Rock battle was impressive, I enjoyed Tyrion's commentary.
And holy shit the Queen of Thornes went out like a badass, made sure her death would be painless before gloating about killing Joffery right to Jaime's face. Awesome.
I'll admit I was impressed by the episode, alot more than the other two. Keep ramping it up game of thrones, don't stop.

Really have nothing to add, you hit all the points I was going to say pretty spot on.

I'm very pleased that Jon and Dany have chemistry, its going to make future episodes more enjoyable. Kit was a tad off tonight though.

liked the episode better than the last 2 for sure. They keep throwing in all these throwbacks to lines and scenes from the previous seasons, and it's becoming a bit much. But the pace is certainly picking up. Olenna's final scene is certainly the highlight of the episode for me. Love her so much, though I have a hard time believing Cersei will even accept her confession.
No Arya in episode 3 though! I want her to have a happy reunion with Bran so he can warn her about Baelish with his heretofore unstabbed neck.

Well then. That was definitely an improvement over the last episode, IMO. Here are my thoughts in no particular order.
Ellaria's last scene was well done; I knew it wasn't going to end well for her, but not knowing exactly what was going to happen put me on edge. I was fully expecting another skull crushing, but what we got was arguably more brutal.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting this, but Jon and Dany's fighting felt a bit...tiring, like it was drama for the sake of drama. It was clear that Dany wanted Jon to bend the knee, but I couldn't figure out exactly what Jon was trying to get out of the conversation.
I'm happy to see that Sam wasn't expelled. I legitimately laughed out loud when he got assigned to copy the decaying books and writings instead of getting rewarded beyond not being expelled; if this was a Harry Potter book, he probably would've won the house cup. I also kinda want to make a gif of the "I read the books and followed the instructions" line - it reminds me of fixing a computer problem for someone who could've easily solved it themselves if they read the manual or went to Google.
It's nice to see Sansa sassing Littlefinger this season. The reunion with Bran was also heartwarming, though I can't imagine Bran taking it well when he finds out that Rickon died.
Seeing Olenna leave is a shame, though her final confession was a nice departing "screw you." At least she's with her family again...

Euron's awesome as always Nowhere near as good as Cersei. Personally for me, Cersei is the best villain the show has had. But...yeah he is awesome. Savage in one scene, but regal in another, but still savage underneath.

I was trying to decide last night, how i would feel if Cersei not only won, but actually turned out to be a good ruler despite being a monster to everyone around her...
I mean Dany wants to "break the wheel" of the noble houses of Westeros, but i'd say Cersei is beating her to the punch. And she's apparently paying off the iron bank in the next few episodes...
Maybe what Jamie said to Olenna was meant to give us a hint, history will remember the kingdom she builds, not how she built it.
Don't get me wrong, I still personally want Jamie to stab the Mad Queen in the back, but I can't ignore that the show may be heading in this direction.
