So, anyone else following this? On the one hand, I'm very interested in seeing what Chris Avellone has been up to. On the other, I don't know much about Pathfinder, other than it's like D&D, and I don't know anything about the other people making this game. I want it to succeed, but I'm leery of throwing money at Kickstarter campaigns for unknown quantities. |

Being following this but did not pledge maybe by the end of the month. Still need to see more although I was always curious about Pathfinder. Liking the art and characters so far.

This looks so interesting!
I really like the concept and what they are going for. It's definitely a nice bonus that it will include LGBT content and that pretty much sold me on wanting to support this!
I'll be keeping an eye on it and might contribute to the Kickstarter if I have extra funds.
I am definitely in need of new RPGs with LGBT content now that BioWare has failed me.

I'm definitely interested in the LGBT romance aspect, but after MEA I'm afraid to contribute to this without knowing what, exactly, that means. I'm not super into isometric RPGs usually, but I did enjoy Pillars of Eternity a ton and I backed the second one. Chris Avellone has talked shit about romance in general, before, so I'm kind of leery of any project with his name attached to it. But that was literally years ago and I haven't played any of his kickstarted games, so I guess I can't really comment. |

I really like what I've seen so far. This looks really interesting. It makes me nostalgic for classic Dragon Age. Is Chris Avellone really that bad? I have no idea who he is. Yeah this is the game i am looking most forward to along with Pillars of Eternity Deadfire. I wish Dragon Age would return to its roots, gameplay wise that is. Nah, Chris Avellone isn't bad. He is very popular with the more hardcore cRPG people. A very well known writer and lead narrative designer. He often writes very complex characters and likes to deconstruct tropes. The main issue that some gamers have with him is in regards to romance. He used to dislike doing them in games. When they made sequels for KoToR and NWN it was expected of them to have romances, as it was follow ups to Bioware games and it didn't really go over that well. Still in a game like Alpha Protocol which he wrote there were several romances and they worked fairly well, so hoping he's changed. |

I would love for Dragon Age to return to the gameplay and design of Origins. One of the things I don't like about the series is how inconsistent everything has been with way too many drastic changes bewteen games. Inquisition is so far from what made me fall in love with the series, although bits and pieces do shine through occasionally. It's one of the reasons I have had my eyes on Pillars Of Eternity. Just looking at it reminded me of Origins and also made me feel nostalgic. I prefer that type of gameplay to what we have now. Thanks for clearing that up! I will keep an eye on this project and hopefully it is as good as it seems!  |

It really enhanced the atmosphere. He is quite talented. I've enjoyed everything I have heard from him in Dragon Age and Fallout. This is no exception. |
