First time I've played since the patch, are you guys having a problem where everyone walks really really slow for like 45 seconds after combat ends? It's driving me batshit. Fast speed is slow and slow speed is like one legged turtle. I thought this was normal :0 like the stupid bullet time from Matrix to add "awesomeness" to the fights but it bugged me out as well. I played after the patch so I dont know if this is intentional or not I finally gave up last night because it was just not fixing itself. I left the area I'd fought in, traveled back to Neketaka, and was still moving super slow.

Umm I'm not sure, I know there's like a "wait to get outta combat mode" period where they need to snap out of it and continue walking, but if it's actually 45 seconds of snail pace that sounds weird and I definitely havent encountered that, except in the newest DLC, there seemed to be "walk nicely pls" sections through parts of the sanctum. Did you accidentally toggle walk feature on?

That period of slow time after the fights was an issue in the first game as well. Weird that it's back in the dlc. That was one of the things I was happy that they had fixed. It's basically an issue where it takes the game time to recognize that the fight is over, so it doesn't let you switch back to fast pace. I would just let my guys sit there for a bit after every fight until it kicked back in. It's annoying.

I decided to try again. Loaded up in Neketaka. Click the mouse for them to move, and they appear to move at normal (fast) speed. Then I click again for them to move farther and it's like it glitches and they start moving slower than molasses again. I don't even know at this point. I touched nothing but the mouse. No combat. I traveled to the Mare and rested, and now things seem to be fine so far. I wonder...could it have been that the last time I camped I had Tekehu use Ekkevit? He still had the debuff from it (can't really consider that one a buff, it's all negative).
Edit: Well, if definitely wasn't the drink. Been doing arena dlc and hadn't had another problem until just now, when slow moving popped back up again after the third fight. It went away quick at least. 2 followers had injuries from dying. Wonder if my game is starting to weird out over debuffs. Perhaps a repair is in order.
Edit 2: Aha! There is a bug report on this. I can stop thinking I'm going crazy now.
Also have the bug where the old lady bounty giver in Serpent's Crown has disappeared. This bug goes all the way back to last summer. Nothing that I read in that thread said if she reappears after you pick a side during the main questline, but I really hope she somehow does since I have a bounty to turn in.
Also, are the random, huge 3-red-skulled beings I've encountered mega bosses? I just sorta backed away slowly when I came across them. Pretty sure even though I'm level 20 I'd get smeared.

I love how theres always THOSE posters that take womens day recognition in the game industry as a "time to do sexist insults cuz im rly cool" and they look even more fucking stupid afterwards when the Devs/Studio calls them out.

Happy Deadfire Anniversary! They did a big patch. eternity.obsidian.net/news/pillars-of-eternity-ii-deadfire-update-61---patch-50---the-return-of-the-ultimateNew Ship UI An update to the UI has been implemented that will come up any time you engage with a ship on the seas that brings a more elegant way to perform ship-to-ship encounters. Turn-Based Mode Out of Beta Thanks to feedback from the community, we have made a lot of changes to turn-based mode to account for bugs and balance fixes and it is now in full release with the 5.0 patch. New Story Content Added After listening to feedback on the critical path of the game when it came to reactivity with Woedica and Eothas, so we’ve decided to go in and write new lines and get them recorded by the original actors to add more to that aspect of the game. Anarchist Path Adjustments Some critical path items have been moved out of Neketaka to other locations in the Deadfire to address the difficulty and length that the game had if choosing to not side with a faction at Ondra’s Mortar. The Ultimate The final God Challenge will be live with the 5.0 patch. This challenge, “The Ultimate” will turn on all other God Challenges, Trial of Iron, Path of the Damned, and Solo mode. Might have to import my priest of Eothas Watcher now.

There's extremely tiny chance I'll ever give that ultimate difficulty a try. Even on normal there were one or two parts of the game I found a bit too much. But I'm interested in hearing more from Eothas. Woedica... meh.
Turn based mode though! I'll definitely be giving that a try!

Just me waiting for the console release date (end of the year was what they said LAST YEAR). I hope they haven't forgotten about the console peeps. I know PC contains the majority of isometric rpg players, but I just love these types of games and I don't like playing on computer. I kinda forgot about this game for awhile and just assumed the port had come out some time ago. So when I was debating getting DOS2, I was like, "How am I gonna choose between this and POE2?" But I didn't have to choose because I quickly discovered POE2 is still not on consoles {cue the tiny violin}
