I think my only interest in mortal kombat is the fatalities. Looking forward to seeing how the top the ones in 10.

I've been meaning to ask, what are the long exaggerated attack moments before the "finish him/her" moment? It so freaking neat like cooler than the fatalities in a way. (are they just extended version of the xray type moves from before?)
if you mean The Fatal Blows, then yes they're essentially MK 11's xray move in that it's the super move. They just changed it up though so that it's only usable once per match and only when you're at 30% health.

she looks very pretty although Kitana always was brown skinned/latina MK4-onwards, I guess Talisa Soto is the one to blame lol (I guess they wanted to return to the ninja light skinned Kitana from MK2-3, although Katalin Zamiar is cuban american) I love all the realistic looks they are doing on this game, far away from the lewd female looks.
Sad there won't be Kung Jin.

looks like @kymira beat me to posting the Kitana trailer.  Love Kitana's intro she had in that one...not liking that Kitana has Mileena's sai and teleport kick. And it sound like they got Grey DeLisle to voice Kitana in this one, and I think that's Kelly Hu back as D'vorrah (looks like D'vorrah gets a bug as a sort of comeback mechanic too, wild).  Kitana always was brown skinned/latina MK4-onwards, I guess Talisa Soto is the one to blame lol I always kinda thought Kitana was supposed to be East Asian looking, but yeah she did look latina in the 3D games. Yeah it sucks that it looks like Kung Jin isn't making the cut, hopefully he can show up as a hidden unlockable or DLC fighter Kombat Kast was today, they mentioned that time crystals will be used for kosmetics...bleh, but at least it sounds like it can be earned in games no pay-to-win junk, and no lootbox stuff. They covered Kitana, Cetrion again (just some extra stuff they didn't show during the Game Informer coverage), and D'vorrah (bugs are gross, and so is her Fatality). They showed the character select screen, just 2 empty spaces now . Mentioned the MK Kollective, it's their fan-artist page and they spent some time talking about how their ko-worker did a Baraka bust with 3D printing and showed the process. Their belt battles have actually been pretty fun to watch lately. No stream next week, last Kombat Kast will be on the 22nd. 11 Days!!! |

The Emperor of Outworld, Conqueror of Realms, Shao Kahn! I think they got Ike Amadi (Javik) to voice him as well, since he sounds somewhat similar to Atrocitus.

I know he's a total scumbag... but I really do love Kano.  But if I end up getting the game I can see myself going all out with the Kollector. Awesome character design, though his fatality is really lame.
I will ship him and Shao Khan for all time tho.

It seems they can't have all 3 of the original female ninja trio in one game now. They are too expensive. haha! I think they might have all been in 9 though. but I forget. I was looking at the list of characters for X, and I completely forgot that Jade wasn't in that game.

Yeah, Jade skipped out on X (I think their excuse was that she went missing, but it's because they gave Kitana her moves as a variation...kinda like how Kitana now has Mileena's teleport kick, and 1 of her Sais). Wait, they unmasked Scorpion? And he's super handsome? They unmasked him in X, but they didn't do face-scans for their characters until Injustice 2.
Edit: Lee beat my post, and yeah the unmasked look for Scorpion was unlockable in story mode. |

Never been a huge fan of Mortal Kombat, but god, that launch trailer got me super hyped. With that music I went back in time to my childhood days. Soo good, day 1 purchase for me right now.
