Indeed it is! I'm glad my mother had such great taste in films...I grew up watching this one pretty often. I love seeing Mary Jo Catlett in a different role! The rest of the cast is excellent as well and it's just a hilarious film all the way through, as proven by the scene you shared. Hood instead of side-braid = fail (unless I'm just not seeing it)! Therefore your wall art idea is a good one The braid is still there! I'll have to check it out sometime!

Between now and October I need to try to finish Origins...I know it's not really important story wise-but maybe getting used to the combat will ease the learning curve for Odyssey. I was playing it last night, and I gotta say I suck at the combat so far.

Totally agree in the asexual part, being asexual doesn't mean you can not fall in love with somebody and having a romantic relationship with them. I take this is pure ignorance I guess. Maybe, but I don't want to be too harsh on her. People don't always choose the right words, even if they mean well. And technically she's not wrong, since "asexual" encompasses both people who are uninterested in sex and romance, or just sex. I know we're oversaturated with descriptors these days, but maybe a word to differentiate between the two would help. Oh, I forgot to say: That article mentioned that the Ubisoft branch in Quebec is making Odyssey, therefore, as a Canadian, I take indirect credit for its accomplishments The Canadians will save us all. We sure will! Have a picture of a Mountie riding a moose And I found this in the same search, so (note: I simply searched "Canada"): Yea, biphobia is a thing that needs to die tbh. More so from our own community, which is fucking stupid bc we are all marginalised. This, exactly. Infighting between marginalized groups is so counterproductive... and just plain stupid! Like, you of all people should understand! What are you doing? Obviously this is the worst within the LGBT community, as we all face similar types of discrimination and misunderstanding, but I think it applies to other groups, too. I think women as a whole should be more sensitive to the struggles or LGBT people or issues of racism, ditto for the reverse. And this is true to some extent, thankfully. As I said recently, it's a joy to see the guys here be a lot more understanding of women's struggles than most.
Not sure why I'd have any problem dating a bi person. It seems so alien to me that people would have these fears or misgivings about them.
Hood instead of side-braid = fail (unless I'm just not seeing it)! The braid is still there! Oh good!

I know we're oversaturated with descriptors these days, but maybe a word to differentiate between the two would help. There actually is a different word for each. Aromantic means not experiencing romantic attraction, and asexual is not experiencing sexual attraction. We sure will! Have a picture of a Mountie riding a moose I died when I saw this picture. It was nice knowing you all.

I know we're oversaturated with descriptors these days, but maybe a word to differentiate between the two would help. There actually is a different word for each. Aromantic means not experiencing romantic attraction, and asexual is not experiencing sexual attraction. I know of aromantic, actually (and use it sometimes). The problem is a lot of the time when some one says someone is "asexual", they really mean asexual and aromantic, both. You could argue that that's just people using terms incorrectly, but it's so common it's hard to ignore and can be a little confusing sometimes. I suppose if people used them correctly we wouldn't necessarily need new terms, but for people not interested in any kind of relationship, "I'm an aromantic asexual" is a bit of a mouthful. On the other hand, so is "asexual biromantic", "aromantic lesbian", etc. so maybe it doesn't matter! I'm tired We sure will! Have a picture of a Mountie riding a moose I died when I saw this picture. It was nice knowing you all. Glad it amused you! Don't actually die, tho.

And I found this in the same search, so (note: I simply searched "Canada"): Fun fact: this year at least, the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C. apparently flew this flag in advance of D.C.'s pride events:

I decided to go ahead and purchase the Alexios figurine because he is hot and gay...and the figurine itself looks good as well of course. ...I'm going to have to take every overtime opportunity I can in order to have a chance at the beautiful Legendary Alexios Figurine...and recover from how much this game has drained my poor little wallet. The 20% discount was only good for getting me free shipping and $2 off on the figurine...but at least I ended up paying less. Still wish I could've had the Kassandra one as well to complete everything!
...If it isn't obvious...I am very excited about this game.

so I remembered there were difficulty settings, and also I'm learning all the controls finally. So between all of that I put it on easy mode and I'm doing much better with AC: Origins. I really need to grind out the upgrades for my gear sometime soon...but it's kind of boring so probably won't do it all at once. Just a little at a time. Still hoping there will be some crafting materials found a quest so it doesn't feel so much like a grind. I know I found some that way for sure.

In all seriousness, though, it is possible that creating this game in a country that cares less about gender and sexuality than The States (not that we're anywhere near perfect) did help make these improvements happen. Bioware, the ones who started this path, are also Canadian.
The Canadians will save us all. I am probably going to end up there in my life
