At the time I really wanted those revive idols, so I let everyone do that quest and my last character killed her after getting a STR bonus instead of an idol since you can get one off her corpse too.  umm...not sure what I'll do next time though. It didn't seem overly sexual for the characters, but it did feel like I was forcing my gay character into a situation he wouldn't be cool with. eh...but damn those idols are a life saver. doh! I only have one and I hope I'm not going to need more in the future XD and yes these kind of quests involving sexual or sensual encounters are always for straight men (and wlw if the game let them but with straight men in mind ofc) and it's very annoying, I have the spider lady quest open with my character and I'm not going to close it, no shame  I only have left to do the demon island, I hope I can finish this tomorrow and get my third and last source point from the demon hunter (I should be studying english but I guess writing in a english speaker forum counts???  ) I was reading on steam just now and saw someone suggesting getting the idols by letting hired mercenaries do the quest. I wonder if that would work, or if it was patched out? I will be trying it this go around. No constitution drop, and no uncomfortable roleplay-yet still getting the idol...that would be perfect! |

After 61 hours (and 140 hours according to steam wtf lol) I managed to get to the Act 3! Damn Act 2 was long  but I think I have done everything the way I wanted. I keep saying how bad the game is designed sometimes, like companion conversations, in the beginning of act 3 I only got the ! symbol from Sir Loras. So I needed to reload, only to find out that Sebille wants to sing and kiss me lol nop, reloading again. Fane does not have any ! symbol is that normal? Also, - 5 attitude points for not wanting to kiss her why devs keep penalizing rejections lol I rather not get the convo. Sorry Sebille, sing to the birds. |

You can totally ignore her advances, after the ! symbol is gone in the beginning of the Act 3 you can speak to her without fear, but yeah is super annoying I dont know when I accidentally flirted with her, I mean I think I never flirted with her, I was even distrustful with her in the beginning and I lost attitude...  is this straight politics??  |

Don't you know girls think it's hot when you are dismissive of them? (ugh that's like a plot device in far too many shows/movies) Anywho, I've made some serious progress with my LizWoken. I've made it to driftwood and I pickpocketed the theif gloves from Dashing June since she didn't seem to want to talk to Lohse about Butters. oh well...so much for letting her take one for the team.  haven't done a lot there yet, but it was nice to make a little progress. |

I just avoided talking to her after that because I didn't want to disrupt my role-playing too much. I had the same problem in Deadfire with Xoti, it's really annoying.  |

I may regret using one of the 2 females then, but Lohse seemed interesting enough to give one shot. I guess after this I may just stick with my original team. Beast might not be my ideal catch, but he's good people, Fane is just super useful with those undead hands for lockpicking, and my goodness Ifan is just the obvious choice for romance! As for Red Prince...eh he might get to take Beast's spot at some point, but I don't know if I really want to deal with him and his wife drama. |

So I can confirm that you can, in fact, let 3 mercs do the quest with the spider lady and get 3 resurrection idols, and then steal the fourth one, or kill her for it (or hire another merc)...whatever floats your boat.

Soooo it seems you need that forced romance scene where she tries to kiss you to save Sebille properly from the master (you can reject her but it's kinda annoying being ninjamanced...). Good job devs. (there are several black ring witches that somehow turn your character in the most hetero in the world when you speak to them, totally disgusting  )  I guess I'm killing the master without Sebille in my team, at least in the first turns, hope that works. edit. Yep, it worked but you lose her quest-related scene. I dont even care at this point, big pass of being ninjamanced lol I really like Sebille but this kind of things are... annoying. " ...  as far I know Fane have not been that obvious and I havent got romance content in act 3 yet. Yesterday I found out you can enter into the lone wolves place without aggro'ing all the npcs if you take the front door (I know, pretty stupid but I didnt know that lol XD) so I was so close to reload to get the proper scene with Sebille and Roost but after finding out you need the romance scene to save her properly to see her scene... meh pass, I'm missing content anyway. Also Lee this also happened in POE2 so be careful lol (at least there straight dudes see Tekehu's advances  that's why 4chan hate him so much lmao), but it's better implemented, once you get the first flirt you are locked with him/her. |

Davrin's boobs once I'm able to get Pillars 2, you'll have to remind me how to avoid unwanted romance.  So anywho, I am done with reapers coast pretty much. So Act 3 will be started this evening after I sleep some. I really have been hitting this game hard I know, but I haven't enjoyed a game this much in a long time! I never expected to actually enjoy combat in a modern RPG for example. generally, it's just something I put up with, but with this game, you get to jump around the screen, do lots of cool magic, and you don't have to frantically mash buttons cause you have time to consider every action. On top of that, you get to analyze enemies weaknesses and resistances without having to jump through hoops. it's lovely!

Act 4!  It was really sweet! It seems eternals are very dreamy-looking which it's guud  I love Fane's voice actor  dunno but he reminds me to Steve Valentine a lot Also nooooooooooooooooooo Lady Vengeance!!  and sad about Ifan, Beast and RP, hope they find peace somehow Oh the moment I killed Rhalic was just cathartic, I wish I could do this in PoE lol hope I can finish this before christmas but I'm happy Fane's romance is not broken anymore! |

Sad they didnt bother with the ending slides but they are all lies  I wonder if we are going to see eternals that survived the purge in future games, it would be cool to see them well .. with flesh XD although according to Fane, eternals have a lot of forms and I guess Fane is more human-looking with blue skin and cosmic eyes I hope I can progress a lot today! |

So I finished act 3 tonight, but Ifan lost 7 points of Attitude somehow or another. I'm not sure what I did wrong honestly. I was still able to romance him successfully, but I'm weirded out by the point drop. I assume I can make it up in the next act-but does anyone know if it's okay or if I should try to load back and see what I can do differently?  Edit: update. I still don't now how I lost so many points, but I reloaded to an older save and I had 98 points there, so whatever happened to those 2 will have to be okay cause I don't think I have an older save than that. so in 2 hours I got back to where i was with 98 ATT and the romance was awesome as before, but I felt better than with 93 points that made me really nervous for whatever reason. Anywho... I played a bit further and off the ship Ifan damn near mounted me again in front of malady, and the whole team. I was like...um...Fane didn't get this kind of content! Damn! He's making me melt, my friends! He's at 99 now. I should be fine! |

So I'm almost done with my second run of DOS2. I completed the Lohse quest finally and I really wasn't expecting her to bust out into a Britney Spears esque concert-but hey there it was light effects and all. Werk! Werk? eh... I have to admit I'm annoyed she got more content than Ifan. It feels like Ifan's personal quest just never really went anywhere. I mean He just kept killing that same dude over and over again. -shrug- However, I still adore him and he's my favorite romance in the game for sure! Well this evening (probably) I will finish things off, but for now I should probably go pass out for a while. This game is hell on my sleep schedule. |

I completed the game and I had so much more fun with this second run, the main reason being that I understood more about how the combat and such works. I struggled so much with my first run, but this time I pretty much steam rolled right through it. I'd say only one fight in the end game was a challenge, but I got it eventually-it is hard to say why it was hard without getting into spoilers so I'll do a tag: basically you have to fight some puppet like guardians and the only way to take them out is to knock down their magic barrier without killing them, and then steal their source with source vampire. any other way you try to kill them, they just get right back up. and they can really fuck up the situation with lots of traps and such. It can be very hard to knock down barrier and not kill them both. I suggest using a magic type they are vunerable to, but you don't have hardly any investment into if you can..perhaps with a non-magic based party member. Also, I got Ifan to cast magic barrier on one of them so it would survive the magic damage. The end game slides are still extremely stupid, but over all I liked the ending I got best when I shared the source-though I also saw the divinity ending too just for the sake of seeing them both (and getting the gold trophy). Ifan spoiler below: If you become divine the in-game interaction with Ifan implies you won't see him much...but the slides say he joins the army working directly under you. If you share the power with the world he says he'll stay with you...but the epilogue says he disappears forever. hahaha! those end slides are so stupid for the companions. I'd say Just ignore the companion slides for the most part. Hot garbage.  |
