Divinity: Original Sin 2 (Divinity series Thread)

With all these major changes I think I'll just start with a fresh character instead of loading up an old one that's halfway through. Cant waaaaait. #Fane

"We received some criticism on the last part of the game and so we took that to heart. We had a long look at how we could improve it and came up with quite a list. Almost 150k words of text have been changed and we've recorded over 130k new words, fixing some voices and text that weren't quite perfect in the original game. We've created new situations and dialogues to give you a greater sense of reactivity across the world, and have bumped up our use of the tag system across most conversations. Finally, we’ve worked on the personal journeys of the origin characters, polishing their quests and situations to better communicate how your decisions impact their story." 

But we shall see.

I found Summons quite fun, you don't really have to go for skeletal type. My first playthrough I went as a two-hander tanky build and had Ifan as a Summoner, second run with my same character I had Ifan as a Ranger and let Lohse and Fane keep their defaults (though I made Lohse the healer of the party.). In my co-op run I went as a ranger-summoner and it was quite fun also. Having totems and a meat shield (who goes from tiny and adorable to big boi at Summoning 10) helped with survivability.

It's quite fun to play around with a lot of things whether you keep the Origin character as their default class or not. 

I fancy all the dudes on this game ngl even Red Prince and his lame romance, I would totally make hate-sex to him and smack him in his face every time he names his princess wish that was an option LOL liking all the options is great for replayerbility too 

but yeah they need to fix those ending slides I've read of.

It's awesome the DOS2 character is a new and different one from DOS1 and the rest of the games, if this would be like POE I would have to play the rest of the Divinity series lol

How many companions can you bring with you? I hope the number is four, but I think it's only three   

This game has been on my wish list on steam for forever. So long that I forgot I added it, forgot what it was called and got all excited when I 'rediscovered' it.

So many things I want to buy, so little monies...if I could get a job working from home my life would be much improved by things.

Yaay! Hopefully! 






At least the game is on sale right now! $35 is a pretty good price.
