Just my 2 cents, but Id honestly just wait till the definitive version. It's going to have an extensive rewrite of the third act of the game and epilogue. Plus theyre adding more dialogue in general I think. They're going to make the "origin" stories of the characters have a more complete narrative supposedly.

The little bit I played just made me want more.

The Sir Lora DLC looks like it is going to be amazing.

"The physics engine has been changed for the Definitive Edition and numerous improvements have been made, making the game up to four times faster in certain areas. The fire effect, for example - which spreads across a lot of environments a lot of the time - has been changed for one more economical and arguably better looking too. I made my character a Scoundrel/Necromancer. With my necromancy spells being used for utility mostly, and my scoundrel skills as my dps abilities. I romanced Lohse, but both Sebeille and Ifan made it difficult for me to decide between the three. Like, they are just all so sweet and nice.


I specd Lohse into my magic user, with fire and ice abilities mainly, and some aerothurge with dual wands. Ifan is my ranger/summoner and the bow dps in this game is so broken that he kills all the things. Sebile is my warrior with two handed weapons with warrior and polymorph skills.

Also, Lohse armor is so much cooler than everyone else's in that picture
