Again, thank you wikia for that text you saved my lazy ass a lot of time Well just creating this thread for the future, I think some of us want to play this no? yes? Yas! Romances: Ketill ♂ Hunter Roskva ♀ Witch Asleifr hetero ♂ Warrior Nefja hetero ♀ Scout Bonus: there is an Expeditions: Conquistador game too, prior this one based on the spanish colonization (getting high school dejavus right now fuck you Cristóbal Colón and los reyes católicos ), at first I was... very scared, colonialism and all but then I read a comment from a spaniard dude in the steam page: This is Not realistic, womenz can not be soldiers unga bunga!1! too much sermonizing about natives being slaughtered unga bunga!1! the game has romances as well but there's no gay ones sadly. I really doubt I'm gonna play this but just posting if anyone is interested. Besides, I think the male options are natives and I would have loved getting that as M/M, so I cant set my mind to play this to be in another Alistair situation, big nop. Glad they did a step forward with Viking though.

Ohey, I remember someone talking about this a while back. Was it you @kymira?
I didn't know there was another game, either. Always annoying to see the 2-bi/2-straight DA:O numbers, but at least they apparently took a step forward. And that they had women the whole time.

This is probably the next game I'll play! I've already tried it out a bit and I like what I've done with my character so far. Looking forward to the Ketill romance!

I remember I mentioned that it was on my steam wishlist for a long time.

the only person i know who played the game is The Doctor and he said Ketill is a very sweet romance. I dont know much about Roskva but I recall reading about her being super dorky but I may be wrong. Also, I spoiled myself the gay endings and they are perfect for a reality grounded viking game, sweet stuff

Suddenly my interest has increased. I wasn't expecting that just based off how pissed she looks compared to Ketill in that image Also, visually I think the bi people look better than the straight options, so there's that Wish it was on ps4 too. It sounds interesting. Yeah. I wonder what the system requirements on PC are like.

If you have a system that can play Mass Effect or DAI or anything like that decently, you can most definitely play this game. Those rec specs dont look all that demanding.

How difficult this game is. I dont know there're videos on youtube. I'm sure The Doctor can help you on this! Also, visually I think the bi people look better than the straight options, so there's that before I go to sleep I forgot to comment about this! Roskva is visually more interesting for sure! and Kettil is the first mandatory companion you meet and longtime friend of the protagonist so big kudos for the devs! (I like -physically- dat bearded man better but that's me being a bearded burly men trash )

What I know for sure are the ending slides and they are nice believe me Ah, okay. But sweet is still good and happy endings are good as well If I played the game she'd probably be in my party a lot anyway by the sound of it; always good to have a healer. Lee BansheeOwnage I found thisCPU: Intel Core2 Duo E6700 2.66 GHz CPU SPEED: Info RAM: 4 GB OS: Windows Vista SP2 VIDEO CARD: ATI Radeon HD 5000 Series / NVIDIA GeForce 430 SOUND CARD: DirectX Compatible Sound Card FREE DISK SPACE: 14 GB edit. Looks like I have slightly higher than the minimum requirements (I don't have a gaming PC). So I might be able to run it, but not sure if I want to pay and have it end up not working.
Turn-based strategy games aren't my favourite, but they can be fun and a good change of pace sometimes. Something less frantic. If you have a system that can play Mass Effect or DAI or anything like that decently, you can most definitely play this game. Those rec specs dont look all that demanding. To be fair, the ME trilogy has significantly lower requirements than DA:I or ME:A So I assume you mean ME:A?
My PC can run, say, ME3 extremely smoothly, and can run Skyrim but not on max settings, to give an idea.

You're welcome! I know this could be entering into ethics but you can always download/torrent a pirate copy of the game to see if you can run it properly, if you can play it then delete it and buy the game, and if you can't play properly you can delete... or not

My PC can run, say, ME3 extremely smoothly, and can run Skyrim but not on max settings, to give an idea. I meant mostly ME3. If you can play MEA just fine then you can most definitely handle Vikings Expeditions. This game seems to be mostly isometric in nature without any groundbreaking graphics. The min rec. graphics card listed is all the way back from around 2010 or so. Ah didnt see the part where you said your specs are slightly above min.

(I like -physically- dat bearded man better but that's me being a bearded burly men trash ) That's cool about Ketill! There aren't many initial companions in games who are SS options, and him being a friend adds to the relationship angle for sure (like Andrew in Technomancer, actually).
Ha, I figured the bearded guy would probably be more popular around here (physically), but Ketill just looks so happy and friendly, it's contagious You don't see many portraits like that, especially of male fighters. He also reminds me a bit of Kíli from The Hobbit, who I thought was the best looking dwarf. Not that my opinions of men's appearances mean much Thanks Nick! Looks like I have slightly higher than the minimum requirements (I don't have a gaming PC). So I might be able to run it, but not sure if I want to pay and have it end up not working. You're welcome! Still, would be nice if there was a demo/trial.

(I like -physically- dat bearded man better but that's me being a bearded burly men trash ) Love the bearded men, even better when they are blond! While I naturally would've preferred Asleifr as far as looks go, I think I'm going to enjoy Ketill's story! Also he does look really handsome in his portrait so I can't complain.

Yep. My pc is too slow for it. Also possibly not a good enough graphics card, but for sure just a bit too slow.

I'm pretty sure I put this on my Steam wishlist, but I had no idea it had LGBT romances. Now I'll definitely have to play it lol.
Also, to those who are unsure if their pc will run it, Steam refunds are a thing. They are pretty easy to get as well, as long as you don't play for longer than 2 hours and return it within 2 weeks.

So there is another Expedition game coming next week. There is like in previous game 4 romances 2 bi, 2 straight. And there will also be romances with NPC, but I don't know if there will be same sex romances among them.
This is bi male character:

He's cute and I like his description!
I remember having fun with the Vikings game, although I never got a chance to finish it because of a game-breaking bug that prevented me from being able to make progress in the main quest...so I never even got to experience the romance.
Hopefully this one is good, I'll have to pick it up later! Anyone planning on getting this one? Would love to hear thoughts on the game and romance!
Still though, it's a shame straight players get two options while LGBTQ+ players only get a single choice. Hopefully the side romances do offer some diversity and options for those who don't like the main romance.
