Everyone is romanceable and bisexual that's why the game is very queer and the distribution is more than equal Fuck those people thinking many bi people in a group is uNrEaLiStIc TM Seriously I hope this is POE2 all over again haha

Davrin's boobs I wonder if we could ask Emily if Amergin/Tiana is romanceable by all genders or just one

Maybe I'm being overly cautious, but a bisexual character who is described as a "unrepentant ladies man" is a giant red flag for me. We've been down this road a million times. Bisexual guys who strongly prefer females and represent the promiscuous bisexual type aren't exactly groundbreaking. Here's hoping he's not going to be in that vein. But it's definitely something to be cautious about. That being said, while I won't be able to play this anytime soon, Berath is made for me. A beefy, bearded ginger who has a pet wolf (i.e. an animal lover)? Sign me the fuck up. ASAP. Is he gay or bisexual? Also, Davrin's boobs, can you explain the symbols under Brigg (the m/f symbol) and Delba (the flag)? I don't recognize them. Finally, didn't they say that some of the characters are mortal and that when you find them later in the game, they will be a different character (same soul, different person)? If so, wouldn't that mean that some of these characters are only going to be in part of the game? Do we know which ones are mortal? And are these the starting characters or the ones that show up later? Or a combination of both?

Davrin's boobs I wonder if we could ask Emily if Amergin/Tiana is romanceable by all genders or just one  I restrained myself a lot from asking her if Berath is bisexual or gay because I know I'm a pain in the ass with writers/devs on twitter and I dont want Emily to dislike me so, I would rather wait until the game is near the corner to ask these things I dunno Maybe I'm being overly cautious, but a bisexual character who is described as a "unrepentant ladies man" is a giant red flag for me. And are these the starting characters or the ones that show up later? Or a combination of both? That is true, the description is very vague though, like "he looks like" not like " he is like" that but who knows, long time ago I asked Emily something like that I think there is another tweet somewhere but I cant find it. AND YES BERATH TRASH I knew you were going to like him lol, the only thing that makes me think he is into dudes is that Emily liked several tweets of mine asking if he's a romance for dudes, so yes, maybe it's safe to think he's at least a gay romance, but again who knows we have been queerbaited sooo many times that is hard to trust, but I trust Emily, she has been very kind to me on twitter. Yeah all those characters are from the celtic era. The medieval ones i guess is too soon or too spoilery to know. There are immortal characters though, Berath, Delba are among them.

Finally a guy in the game that I find attractive. Love his new look. Go Herk! Heraklios sounds interesting for sure.

I NEED THIS GAME IN MY LIFE NOW!!! AMERGIN AND HERAKLIOS!!!! I don't like the description either because it does scream BioWare bisexual male...but it is possible it just means plenty of women try to go for him while he himself has no real preference and comments on being attracted to both men and women.

Fuck it, throwing caution to the wind, I'm excited for this already. I've been making a point not to get invested in games that aren't out yet, but Waylanders is breaking my streak.

Crossing my fingers for you all! I hope this isn't another example of pre-game hype that turns sour when details arise. The dev seems pretty solid, so let's hope she pulls through. Heraklios' description and the fact that some of the romance options might change gender between the time periods have pinged my "uh oh" spidey-senses as potential problems. I've got a built in buffer on this one since it's not a console game at release, so I'm not getting overly invested yet. I'll wait to see how it actually drops before I get too hyped.

I feel the same especially about the reincarnation thing. I really am pessimistic of it working out in my favor even once-let alone enough to make it seem like anything but an annoyance.

You just need to join to immortal ginger daddy club I will if he's confirmed as a gay/bi option. (assuming it makes it to console of course)

You just need to join to immortal ginger daddy club I mean, notice how as soon as a potentially gay bearded ginger daddy with a wolf was revealed officially, I was magically summoned to the thread? It's not a coincidence. LOL. I am ginger bear daddy trash and 100% comfortable with my choices in life.

I will if he's confirmed as a gay/bi option. (assuming it makes it to console of course) Consoles are confirmed in this other article that Vitor sent me!Also the article has some story bit, I will translate the best I can We take as an initial reference the Irish Book of Invasions, which tells the story of the children of Breoghan and how they established their kingdom in Ireland. In the first trip of the Brigantes?? (sorry I have no idea) to Ireland the Tuatha Dé Danann kill Ith, one of the sons of Breoghan, and a second trip is organized to conquer the island, in which the druid Amergin has a fundamental role. The story in the game begins between the first and the second trip. After Ith's murder, our protagonist is anchored out of time between two worlds, with the ability to travel between the Celtic and medieval times of S XIII, in full construction of the Cathedral of Santiago. In Brigantia they have deposed the son of Ith and heir to the throne and several factions fight for the power. In the medieval times a power tries to alter the course of history and you will be forced to travel between both periods to fulfill your mission

I'm really curious about how the reincarnation thing will play out, but especially now that... Look, y'all, Heraklios sounds RIGHT UP MY ALLEY.
Pardon me, I have now been run over by the hype train, I'm all in. GIMME!

Davrin's boobs Told me I should check out this thread/game and going through the pages here and Kickstarter I'm... curiously interested so far. Though werewolves being a thing definitely added to my hype level. (Plus Sorcerer/Healer are my thing so good to know those are both class options.)

Very curious how this game will play out in the end, but looks promising still! Lots of nice variety!

I don't care how much of a promiscuous bi he might end up being, I'm Greek trash and I'm gonna be all over Heraklios's ass.

At least Heraklios sounds like a really good-hearted guy! So no depraved bisexual trope I have never been bothered by promiscuous characters myself but it's true that that trait is super used with bisexual characters and it's wrong. I can't wait to see how they game writes polyamory though (which has nothing to do with promiscuity if it is not an open relationship) as much as I criticized Pathfinder: kingmaker, the polyamorous relationship -as far I know and read- is treated with respect and it is healthy. When the 10 companions are revealed (4 more to go!) I will make a pre-release poll just like I did with Greedfall, and then a new poll when the game is out, to see how things changed. And since I'm digressing as always, I would like to see two female characters (I hope this is not another POE2 or DOS2 where female companions were lacking) and one male, maybe a more twinky one without a beard for those who miss elves (Amergin is twinky but has that beard that I'm sure birbs use to sleep lol) edit. also where is the werewolf companion at!
