I have a feeling you will like Anarchs Hard to say, primary use of Seduction in the first Bloodlines was to secure "blood dolls" in clubs. Anarchs. Mmm I like the name already. What are blood dolls? Humans who willingly let you drink their blood. At least the wiki says so, but basically in clubs in the first game there was always one woman you could seduce and you could use her to refill your blood pool.

They were people scattered around the city hubs, that you initially had to seduce to get their blood. So after you bite them the first time, you could go back when you needed blood/were out of blood packs, and feed on them.

Hahahaha woooow that is so messed up but I love it. I really am gonna have to play the previous game now.
So I understand bloodlines is a sequel to redemption. Should I start there or can I skip to bloodlines?
Also which mods are required? Thanks.

And the one mod you need is the unofficial patch, others are optional. www.moddb.com/mods/vtmb-unofficial-patch

Perfect, I'll get that going tonight. Looking forward to it.

Anything gameplay wise to know before hand?

Anything gameplay wise to know before hand? Combat can be...janky Melee, guns, sneaking are all viable options. Malkavian and Nosferatu are the more unique clan options, but I wouldn't use them on the first playthrough, because Malks are nuts and with Nosferatu you break the Masquerade just by being seen. (and I really mean nuts, like your options are all crazy person talk and you hear voices and shit)

Play Tremere or Gangrel. That is all. Pfffft, clan Toreador is the best lol I tried playing as one, and was just snoozing a lot. Presence is an okay discipline, but I didnt find Toreador all that fun. I really love the classes that have that WOW factor. Like tremeres blood magic, and gangrels animalism and warforms. Not to mention their clan history stuff.

I mean yeah, not the most spectacular from gameplay perspective, but if a clan of artists whose "weakness" is to be fascinated by beauty is an option, how am I supposed to pick anything else?

I just realized with the Q1 2020 date, we'll probably see more Bloodlines 2 at E3 in June. HURRAY!

Some more example of the third person combat switches from people who played the demo. I really love the sound of this.
Bloodlines 2 is certainly a game for adults, as gritty as the original and with swears dotting what seems like half the dialogue trees. Nightlife is still (obviously) prevalent, as is violence. The combat system is brutal, with some of the most impactful first-person melee fights I’ve seen since Dying Light. Hits send enemies flying, and there’s a neat trick where the camera occasionally pulls into third person to show off a particularly wild animation—running up the wall and leaping off to punch someone in the face, or flipping over them and delivering a hit to the back. It’s slick, in a way the first game absolutely was not.
Large hubs! And theyre accessible from the start this time. No more waiting to get to Hollywood!
The environments. As I said, our demo spanned Pier 57 and Pioneer Square, two distinct and disconnected areas. This isn’t a sprawling open-world game, but rather a series of hubs. I was told that each map is sizable—the exact words were “larger than a few blocks in each direction,” which was mostly a response to how I phrased the question—and that you can travel to each area from the start of the game, with no mandatory linear path from place to place.
And some creative looking ways to get quests.
we took over his apartment and inside found a massive bulletin board full of conspiracy theory string-graphs. I’m told that analyzing that bulletin board will actually give players clues as to potential leads and characters in the game itself, directing you towards quests or points of interest, which is a level of environmental storytelling I don’t think I’ve seen any other game deliver on, and one I’m excited to try.

Yessss I'm tired of open world. I'll take hubs any day.
