Cars driving around confirmed lol. Not that it was a burning question to me. The first game was kinda funny with our taxi being the only car around on the street mostly. Plenty of parked cars though. twitter.com/i/web/status/1111716720169762817Can you car jack?

VtmBL2 pc gamer article, some new stuff we didnt know yet;
Five playable clans at launch, less than Bloodlines, but a focus on making every clan as distinct in play style as possible. (Though we already know they'll be adding more Clans post-launch for free)
Unique abilities and areas to explore depending on clan. Players who want to "see everything" will need to play as different clans.
Able to equip two melee and two ranged weapons at any time. ^ this makes those articles saying we disgard firearms completely after they're empty, flat out wrong lol
At high levels can use devastating special moves, where the camera will zoom out to third person.
Can repair masquerade violations through specific tasks, like joining a clean-up crew to clear up masquerade violations from other vampires.
Clean-up crew run by a weird, desensitised guy named Bart, used an example of the black humour in the game. One clean-up crew mission has you clearing the mess left behind by a vampire + human romantic encounter; "if someone had exploded in a small hotel room, that's what that would look like. You're there to just pick up the pieces. Literally, pick up the pieces, and Bart just comments on whatever's there while eating his noodle soup

Maybe discard a weapon to steal the one enemy has and then shoot them in the face with it?

Maybe discard a weapon to steal the one enemy has and then shoot them in the face with it? I'm referring to one of the demo first impression articles that came out shortly after the reveal where the person made the assumption firearms wouldnt be a thing we spec into anymore and that we'd ONLY be able to grab guns on the-go while in combat, then disgard the gun after the fight. That's why a lot of people went to the devs asking if this was an actual thing, and the devs clarified that specing into firearms and having our own guns was still indeed a thing. And yeah, I'm sure during combat we'll be able to do stuff like, disarm a foe, use their weapon against them, etc etc. I just worded my note on it a bit vague lol.

they'll be doing streams on twitch each week (1 per week), for 5 more weeks apparently. They have clan intro vids, starting with Thinblood! Also Clan Toreador and Brujah confirmed. www.bloodlines2.com/en/thinbloodDespite being permitted in the city, many thinbloods don’t survive very long. With little understanding of what they are or the rules of Kindred society, they face a struggle to simply exist in a city carved up by established political factions. Many are killed when they pose a threat to the Masquerade. CHIROPTERANThis Thinblood discipline calls on the vampire’s strong affinity to bats, allowing her to move through the air and summon swarms. • Glide (Blood Cost: 1) is Chiropteran’s first active power, and can be enhanced by investing inthe • • slot. Glide greatly lowers the weight of the vampire’s skeleton and muscle mass to allow them to float on updrafts, reaching otherwise inaccessible areas. In the air, the vampire can swoop into NPC to knock them down, pounce on enemies far below, or use the height advantage to rain down Disciplines from afar. • • • Bat Swarm (Blood Cost: 2), the second active power, allows the vampire to summon a small swarm of bats to attack a target NPC, temporarily disabling them and dealing low damage. The • • • • and • • • • • slots grow this power, until a true Maelstrom of leathery wings surrounds the vampire, harrying and damaging any enemy who dares come too close. MENTALISMThis Thinblood discipline allows the vampire to manipulate objects through telekinesis - allowing them to even pull weapons from enemies’ hands. • Pull (Blood Cost: 0/1, target dependent) is Mentalism’s first active. It allows the vampire to manipulate inanimate objects from afar - whether that’s an inconvenient obstacle, or the knife in the hands of the NPC bearing down on them. The • • slot upgrades Pull even further. • • • Levitate (Blood Cost: 2), the second active power, suspends a living NPC in the air. Its strength can be enhanced with the • • • • and • • • • • slots, until the vampire can levitate everyone and everything in an area, and throw suspended enemies around like ragdolls. NEBULATIONThis Thinblood discipline allow the vampire to call on her affinity to mist, allowing her to summon and command it. • Mist Shroud (Blood Cost: 2), Nebulation’s first active power, envelops the vampire with mist for a short time, muffling footsteps and making them slightly harder to notice. In addition, the vampire can partially transform into mist for one invocation to either perform a choking attack on an NPC, or travel through tight spaces. The • • slot enhances these powers even further. • • • Envelop (Blood Cost: 3), the second active, creates a stationary, swirling cloud of mist that surrounds, blinds and forcefully enters the lungs of NPC that touch it. It and Mist Shroud both can be further improved with the • • • • and • • • • • slots. You keep your thinblood powers after picking a clan. Your background prior to becoming a thinblood affects more than stats . Thinbloods have the unique power to survive in sunlight - briefly - but it won't appear ingame. Next stream will be next week (next Thursday, not Wednesday as it is a public holiday) and reveal the next clan!

Clan Reveal #2: Brujah
In Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines 2, you'll begin your unlife as a Thinblood with few mates, but eventually you'll be able to join one of five vampire clans, including the rebellious Brujah. They're the angry, righteous punks of the World of Darkness.
The Brujah are known as 'The Rabble' to the rest of the vampires, and they're not ones for institutions or authority. They used to be a clan of warrior scholars—you play as one in Redemption—but in the modern age they're viewed by the other clans as punks and troublemakers.
There aren't many Brujah in Seattle, and most of them are what remains from failed Anarch movements. Anarchs reject the vampire establishment and, not surprisingly, it's a movement the Brujah find appealing. That means they aren't affiliated with Seattle's bloodsucking political factions, so they might be a good choice of clan if you want to be a bit of a wild card. They love a good brawl, too, and even host undead fight clubs. Their vampire powers also reflect this penchant for pugilism.
While the Brujah have a rebellious streak, they still follow the Masquerade, and using one of your disciplines out in the open is considered a violation. You wouldn't want to get in trouble with Seattle's sheriff.
You'll keep your Thinblood powers if you join the Brujah, too, so you'll still be able to transform into a cloud of mist or summon a swarm of bats. And of course you've got all your conventional attacks and weapons, too. It looks like the Brujah quite like their baseball bats. And their leathers.
Brujah Disciplines
Potency
The signature Discipline of the Brujah imbues their undead bodies with the pinnacle of raw Kindred strength. Nobody underestimates the strength of a Brujah twice.
• Fist of Caine (Blood Cost: 2), Potence’s first active power, allows the Brujah to deliver a devastating punch that turns walls into rubble and throws enemies through the air, tearing of limbs and causing collateral damage. The • • slot enhances these devastating effects even further.
• • • Earthshock (Blood Cost: 2), the second active power, smashes the ground with titanic force. The impact causes a shockwave around the player, damaging and knocking down anyone who dared to stray too close. After further upgrades with the • • • • and • • • • • slots, the ground cracks under the Brujah’s onslaught, sending fissures outwards and damaging anyone caught in this cataclysm.
Celerity
Some Kindred strike faster, dodge quicker, and escape more nimbly than any mortal creature could hope to. They use Celerity, the Discipline of pushing their bodies’ speed beyond all limits.
• Unseen Storm (Blood Cost: 2), the first active, allows the vampire to dash in a direction of their choice at such a speed as to momentarily disappear from view, allowing them to land attacks, dodge around enemies, or get away before the dust has time to settle. Characters struck along the way of the dash get knocked down. The • • slot further enhances the Unseen Storm.
• • • Accelerate (Blood Cost: 5), the second active, opens up speeds so fast that everything else in the world appears to slow down to a virtual standstill. Assailants seem frozen in their attacks, cars crawl forward, bullets zip by lazily, and the vampire can get up to the kinds of stunts that, with a popular 80’s synth track in the background, would make an awesome movie scene. The • • • • and • • • • • slots allow the vampire to further improve their acceleration.

I like what they are doing with Disciplines, turning them into actual active powers instead of temporary stat boosts. I'm curious to see what they did with likes of Auspex and Presence. Or what will be secondary power of Obfuscate. Aaaah, I want to know everything Also, what do you think will be the next week's clan reveal?

I really want to see what theyll do with Dominate too. Also, I noticed in the stream they said we'll be a thinblood for about 5 hours of the game (depending on playstyle of course) then youll be able to become a full blood with the clan of your choosing. As for next week, I'm going with either Toreador or Ventrue. It'd be funny if they show Ventrue right after Brujah, since those two clans tend to butt heads together. Outstar dropped a fun little vid that delves into some Brujah clan history. I like her stuff. I didnt know much about the Brujahs clan origins but to hear that a rather fiery bullheaded woman ended up diablerizing her sire and taking it from there is pretty cool LOL.
