I am pretty sure I'd be done with HZD if I'd just stick to the story quests, but I keep looking for collectible shit and doing side quests. I don't want the game to end. I am having too much fun! It's been a long time since I've actually enjoyed a game's combat, but I really do like the toys you can play with in Horizon Zero Dawn. The story is pretty good too. I just wish I could romance Erend and this game would have been perfect. Just knowing he likes Aloy gives me life though. Cause you know...it's as close as I can get to him flirting with me. Such a sexy man!

I just started Divine Divinity, which I must have bought in some Steam sale because that's usually the explanation for old games in my library that I have no knowledge of owning. The armour for the girls in the character selection screen, tho. Also, the male Survivor (rogue) started his voiced self-description with the most porn-dialogue rendition of the phrase "I'm a bad boy". So far it's quite nice, the graphic style (outside of the wonky 3D intro) works and is very detailed, the game wastes no time in shoving quests your way and I'm having fun exploring the starter village.

I'm playing The Division since it is during a free trial period this weekend.
The game looks really good and the gun play is fun. But other than that the game is pretty bland. I probably don't buy it after the trial ends.

Been playing XCOM 2 since their War of the Chosen expansion came out, it's pretty fun and it feels like I always get swamped with having to manage so much of the newer stuff.
I've beaten the Assassin and Hunter, playing on rookie.

I got all the side quests I need done now, in fact I should have all the trophies by the time I beat the game, but for one. I still haven't got the trophy for knocking over all 23 dummies. Ughies. what a shit trophy with no tracking system. I have to rely on the inner webs, and I don't have a pc right now. so maybe I should just put it off till later. But the game is borrowed, and I really want to get platinum and get it back to my friend before he misses it. Though then again I don't think he replays games so he probably would be fine with me keeping it a while. Ugh I hate making choices.

Figured I'd post my initial impressions of DOS2 here instead of in the general hangout thread I'm liking it a lot. Combat is harder than I expected, but i think i started off with a pretty terrible starting build. No offensive spells at all, just healing and armor spells. I restarted as a summoner, much more powerful. Red Prince is a total ass and I love him. Haven't gotten very far at all into the story though, kind of just wandering around the first zone trying to be a completionist.

Well, I used a guide and got the last of the dummies, and I finished HZD finally. The ending was kind of disappointing in a way, but the game itself was fun so yay! Now I have to figure out what to play next.

So, my attempt to play fallout 4 with mods ended horribly. the mods worked fine, but one of them did something odd apparently...cause I was no longer able to access my save files on my ps4. I tried a lot of things including going in game and deleting all the mods and moded saves, but nothing fixed the issue. restarted a bunch of times-nothing. Finally I uninstalled fallout all together and restarted and I was finally able to access save file management. WTF......nope mods are clearly not for me. shit that was stressful. I thought my ps4 was bricked.

*Shuffles in after being away for a million years* I've been splitting my time between Pillars of Eternity (I just got the expansions so I'm replaying it ) and Divinity Original Sin 2, which is a blast so far Love being a skeleton cleric and being able to pick locks with my finger bones , though I'm having trouble deciding which companions I wanna take with me. They all seem really cool, though I'm especially biased towards The Red Prince and Ifan because... well Lee That's a shame. I haven't played Fallout 4 but if it's anything like Skyrim, mods really help to enhance the game. Hope you're able to figure out what went wrong if you decide to mod again.

I think it had to be one of 2 of the mods I installed recently that went bad...either cause of the order they were installed-or they just weren't good mods to begin with. eh...either way if I mod again I'll go very light with it. I'm sort of turned off by that ordeal, but still at least I know to uninstall the game if it happens again. though downloading all that dlc again is a pain in the ass.

I don't know if there are any MMO fans here, but my favorite MMO of all time, Guild Wars 2 is finally releasing its second expansion in 2 days! Path of Fire is going to feature my favorite continent in the games universe, Elona. It's very Egyptian/Middle East inspired. They're also introducing mounts for the first time in the games history. Guild Wars story and lore is really neat and very engaging in my opinion. People often label GW as the "casual mmo" because you can stop playing if you feel like it, come back, and not feel super left behind on things. Basically you can have a life while still getting places in this game. You are also free to do majority of the things like story and map exploration solo if you wish which is what I do most of the time anyway. I think I only have like 2 or 3 other people I sometimes group up with in the entire 5 years I've been playing. Also no monthly subscriptions fees HURRAY. If anyone is interested in trying out the core game, they have a free to play download on their main site. I'm pretty sure it gives you access to the full story of the core Guild Wars 2 game but with some slight account restrictions. Oh yeah, and the GW community is actually really friendly and helpful compared to some other MMO's I've played. I often see people helping out newcomers with any questions they might have about any aspect of the game. There will always be those idiot trolls every now n then but for the most part the GW comm is pretty mellow. /endnerdrant

Let me know what you think when you get around to trying it! GW protag is voiced so there's that haha. I tried Warframe out as well and while I like the concept...I couldn't stick with it. I also kept getting stuck in the overly complicated UI and would open 50 menus at once. A friend and I just started referring to it as Warmenus. I might try it out again when that expansion comes out though. I have ESO but barely play it, which is weird because I love Elder Scrolls. I got to lvl 14 or something and stopped. Maybe I'm just so into GW, it won't let me play other MMO's i've yet to play swtor but it's on my list for sure!

FFIX surprised launched on on PS4 yesterday so I picked it up. I've got so many games to finish but I couldn't resist.
FFIX is one of my favourite FF games so it just skipped to the head of the queue.
