Got games I bought recently and should get on finishing but, I still gravitate back to DA and ME which I've played to death.

I just beat pokemon Y which is my first time beating a Pokemon game and I really enjoyed it. I fell in love with the legendary death bird very shortly after capturing it (so cute I just want to cuddle it) but I have lost a lot of steam after the main story and don't think I will be doing any post game content for a while.

The post game is pretty lacking really. I feel like most pokemon games don't have a post game worth playing unless you are really into completing the pokedex. (but you know what the say about your mileage varying!) Congrats on beating the game, X/Y is my favorite gen now. I'm looking forward to seeing what they cook up on switch though.

I played star wars battlefront 2 a lot yesterday, trying to see if i can i get into it but I just can't. The modes are so messy designed, where one side is strongly favored by the other. Like Im happy they went with some of the ideas from the first game's dlc, but its badly done here. Like Im excited to play sexy cloned jango fetts but it heavily favors battle droids a lot of times, plus tracking a battle droid in super hd graphics is much harder as well. That and when playing resistance or rebels is boring because you play as some strangers you didn't even design, in the first game you could pick a head wether human or alien at least.
The only good thing out of this is the space gameplay but thats it. Once again they failed to capture the heart of the originals. I had hope because after the dlcs, the first game actually was pretty good designed, but not here. Maybe the game gets better along the way but right now its just not fun, even if I show up on the super uneventful top 5 screen. Grabbing silly ability unlockables is boring as well for loot boxes. Not to mention the loot boxes look ugly, like a tray of food or something its what it looks like. Thankfully only payed like 20 bucks for it and thats it.
the singleplayer story was okay, but the gameplay on it was poor. Been way better singleplayer story star wars games.

The game seems to be underwhelming most it seems. That's a shame given there's a lot of interesting characters they had to work with.

I love Ylvetal too! , my favourite legendary Pokemon by far and one of the few I ever had on my team. Pokemon has always been lacking in post game, normally you just get access to a new area and can catch some more powerful pokemon and then use those pokemon to beat the Elite 4 (or whoever depending on the gen) again.

I'm finally getting around to playing Divinity Original Sin 2. After playing the opening about 7 times, I've finally gotten past the first map. It's a pretty great game so far. I'm trying to romance Lohse, but tbh Ifan is making it very difficult. He is just so cute, and his dialog is very sweet.

Picked up a cheap copy of a collection of Rareware games yesterday may bounce between that and pokemon Sun.
Which reminds me is there any big differences between Sun/Moon and their Ultra versions?

Picked up a cheap copy of a collection of Rareware games yesterday may bounce between that and pokemon Sun. Which reminds me is there any big differences between Sun/Moon and their Ultra versions? Yes there's a few big differences and a lot of small differences. The biggest one for me was that regardless of which version you pick in Ultra the title beast is actually Nekrozma. You still catch the old title monster but you won't use it much before you are able to fuse it with Nekrozma. Nekrozma's new forms are pretty awesome! They gain the secondary type of whichever title beast it fuzes with (steel for the sun lion, and Ghost for the moon bat). Also, both of his new forms can burst form into his ultimate form that's pure psychic and has really buffed out stats and an ability that doubles super effective attacks. He's overpowered as hell. The other major changes are there's actually 3 new pokemon . The first one being a poison type ultra beast that in the post game can evolve into a posion dragon that's pretty awesome looking. The other 2 new ones are sadly split between the 2 versions, but they are also ultra beasts. The one is sun is a fire ghost that looks a bit like the juggling monster from the first kingdom hearts game. In moon exclusive I'm not as familiar with-but it is another bulky slow mon-so not really my bag. Little changes were made throughout the story as well, and the ending is actually a good bit better for me. Also, you get a new episode in the post game that lets you battle all the previous game's big bad bosses-and they all have their games title legendary on their team. So it's great for that "member when" feeling. haha.

Just finished a ME2 run last night with a Garrus romance and started ME3. I never play all the way through ME3 anymore, mainly because I just don't care for the overall tone of the game and the ending pisses me off. It's just too dark for me, and even the wins are losses. I like to be happy/entertained when I game and it mostly makes me sad, but I still like the first part of it. Plus Citadel, of course.
It makes me appreciate the lighter tone of Andromeda though.

That's actually one of the reasons I love Mass Effect 3! I really like that dark/depressing "end of the world" atmosphere it has. I think the game managed it pretty well and it also makes the lighter moments (like the Kaidan romance and the Citadel DLC) so much more satisfying.

The ending was so good till you got to the part where you almost die and have to slow mo walk towards the beam and shoot Maurader shields (the hero we needed). At that point, it starts to be clear that things have gone wrong...horrifically wrong. The ending was shit at launch, and the extended cut for me felt like they were trying to over explain the obvious aspects of the ending and ignoring the unfinished parts that I actually wanted to know about. (Like how long is it going to be before Kaidan finds Shepard and nurses him back to health, and how lovely was their gay ass wedding!?!?!)

I gave in and ended up getting Season 2 of Telltale's Batman. I really like the dynamic between John Doe/Joker and Bruce/Batman/Moneybags. it's also nice to see the Harley and Joker dynamic swapped around.
My favorite interaction is when John asks Bruce for relationship advice (I picked the "be yourself" option which was completely hilarious and had a good part where John explained what he liked most about Arkham). I also really liked episode 4 since John starts to become much more threatening, genuinely making me feel on edge.
Can't wait for Episode 5.

I'm playing Dragon Age Inquisition still. The in your heart Shall burn section, where you walk through the snow, is too real when you are sitting in a cold room with your feet freezing off.

Decided on Sims4, and ended up playing a randomly generated family that I took a interest in awhile back and moved into a house etc. The oldest child (a son) was a young adult and had been randomly flirting with a guy in previous plays, so when said guy asked him to the romance festival I thought "Heck yeah! Boyfriend material?". The night went well. Until my sim asked the guy to be his boyfriend. He got turned down. Died from embarrassment right there in the middle of the festival. His teenage sister witnessed the whole thing. Turns out that guy is from the new town, and is already in a relationship. My bad. Poor Phoenix. First time I've ever had a sim randomly die like that in 4.

Like it currently says below, It's been Kingdom Hearts 3DS HD and Diablo 3 on the PS4. I'm almost done with 3DS and almost caught up on the series sans KH Union Cross. I'm not playing Union Cross though, but I've been trying to keep track of story updates.
Diablo 3 has couch co-op, so my husband and I have been playing duo necromancers and giggling the entire time. Mass amount of zombies and demons? Meet our 14 man skeleton army (between our two characters.) Oh, you think you escaped us? We'll use the bodies of your dead comrades to blow you the hell up.
