Got around to getting all the trophies in Hitman 2, and finally getting the Phantom suit (recolor of the Absolution/Undying suit) from Ghost mode.
Started playing Pathologic 2, playing on easy and only got to the end of the first day. I had died once when a cop spotted me (Everyone hates you since they think you might be a killer, but only cops will attack you with nearby civilians jumping in to help the cop).
Had Finally started my full Mass Effect run (Trilogy & Andromeda), I'm at the end of 2 right now with the Suicide Mission and Arrival being the only 2 remaining missions for me. I think something messed up the camera angles in ME (in Virmire Saren wasn't in the close-up shot whenever he talked, and sometimes the camera was focused on Shepard whenever someone else was talking). For ME 2 I got a bug where if you hugged a wall and tried to get into cover Shepard would float up (happened on Korlus and the wrecked ship side quest), along with the audio just going out when Samara and Morinth have their biotic standoff.

Finished Mass Effect 2 a few days ago, and moved on to 3. Finally got the 2 Insanity achievements this morning, I honestly thought it'd be more of a struggle to go through (my Shepard was Vanguard with Liara and Garrus being my regular squaddies). Going to go back to do the DLC missions on an easier difficulty later, but started up Andromeda again to finish off this Mass Effect run and put it into the ME Archives.

I just finished playing through the main storyline of "Pokken Tournament DX" It's a pretty decent fighter, but the advisor is very talkative and I found her draining-thankfully I found an option to turn the voices off (which is great, since the voice acting, in general, is terrible in that game!) It would have been better with more pokemon variety. As it was-there just was a lot of repeats. I can't tell you how many times I had to fight against the same pokemon 2 or more times in the same tournament. Also, I was fighting against the same pokemon I was using quite frequently as well!
Still-it was a good time and I paid nothing since it was a free trial for the past few days. I won't miss it once the trial is over I think...good for a time, but not something I see myself going back to.

I have so much to do at work and it's been so stressful I wasn't able to play anything that required even a little bit of skill. Came back to Stardew Valley and my god it is so good, even better than it was when I played it on release. But also I wasn't expecting such strong feels when romancing one of the characters (he has depression problems, pretty relatable)

So I finally had gotten around to finishing my full Mass Effect (1-3 and Andromeda)playthrough. It was good, surprisingly got a little teary-eyed from Drack's story about when he was given Kesh.
I also got around to finishing up Spider-man, I've beaten the main story, and the Black Cat DLC and just started up the Turf Wars DLC. It's good, I really like Yuri Lowenthal as Spider-Man.
I've fallen back into playing For Honor again...just in time too since they're going to have a new character (The Warmonger, who's pretty much just Apollyon from the story), she's kind of a pain to fight but I really like her armor looks.
Since theres a summer sale going on, I indulged myself and got Ni-oh 2 (I kinda liked the Character Creation from the demo), Saints Row: The Third (didn't like it my first time, maybe I'll enjoy it more now?), and Ghost of Tsushima (I've been watching some Let's Plays, and they kinda sold me on it, plus Sumalee Montano voices a character in it).

Warmonger has been fairly fun to use. I did like the event that introduced her cause the vs. screen for it was pretty cool with her standing over the test your metal bosses (Apollyon, Gudmundr, and both versions of Tozen). Pretty happy that she can get one of the Apolloyon looks right away, less happy about her being gender-locked (none of the characters should be honestly). The vs. screen from Warmonger's event. I just beat Saint's Row the Third. Almost have all the trophies too, so I'll probably put in some time to get 100% I enjoyed it more this time around. On reflection I think my biggest problem with 3 the first time was that it didn't take place in Stilwater, The Character Creator and Customization felt lackluster compared to 2, Johnny Gat "died" in the beginning, no conclusion to the storyline with Dex, and Steelport is kind bland. Still don't like that they put Activity introductions into the Main Missions, but I think they did that in SR 4? Also it was nice going through the DLC missions (Genkibowl VII, Gangstas in Space, and The Trouble with Clones) since I did not get them the first time out of being disappointed in the main game. Pictures of Spider-Man! Started up Ni-Oh 2 and Ghost of Tsushima. Ni-Oh is tough, but I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. Thinking about restarting or seeing if I can start up separate files. Ghost is Super Gorgeous , I'm looking forward to playing around with Photo Mode and Sharing screenshots.

I've been playing Fire Emblem 3 Houses again. Went with Blue Lions this time, and plan to marry everyone's favorite Prince who doesn't have any mental health issues at all... Okay...maybe Dimitri needs some serious help now that I think about it.

You know that the real world is utter shite, that living in Thedas seems like a safer more wholesome experience.
Anyhoo finally out of fracking Lothering in my Origins run.

Welp got the platinum trophy in Saints Row 3. Also got around to beating Ghost of Tsushima, I enjoyed it alot. Combat felt weird not having a lock-on, and I didn't use the Ghost Combat items (Kunai, Smoke & Sticky Bomb.) too much. I think my favorite quests were The six blades of Kojiro, since it's duels with some Ronin in and they were a step-up in difficulty. Yuriko's quest sets cause they hit pretty hard since she's going senile and then passes away at the end of it. Bear Witness to some pictures of Tsushima! Ended up deciding to do a Dragon Age playthrough, to sort of refresh my memory on what happens in the games thanks to that dev diary they had for DA 4. Downloaded Fall Guys since it was free, so far its been pretty fun. Also getting around to finishing up getting trophies for Arkham City & Knight so that I can reinstall Inquisition later.

Uhhhh...was making progress with Nioh 2, but I hit a rut in Shadows (Ch. 3). So I decided to start over and picked the Odachi(big sword) and big Axe as my main weapons (had been using spear and katana, but swapped katana out with other weapons to try them out). I like the Scampuss guys, so heres 4 pictures of them. in Origins I've only just got past Lothering and am starting out with Redcliffe (using Dalish Archer)

So I just finished SOMA. I loved it. I don't know *how* to recommend it. It's a sci-fi/horror game by Frictional, the devs behind Amnesia and Penumbra. But it's more about the story than those titles, which is why there's even a safe mode that disables enemy hostility. The game feels like a blend between Bioshock (with the narrative and underwater location) and Dead Space (with the monsters and the design/tech of the locations). And the story is just...fantastic. If you read a lot of sci-fi then there's nothing that will surprise you, but the game takes a very interesting (philosophical) concept and does a fantastic job exploring it. There are some choices, but they are more there to ask you questions about that main theme, rather than to punish you with good and bad end states. Aaaand that's pretty much all that I can say without giving up huge spoilers. Even the creators had problems with that. Unlike "would you kindly" in Bioshock, Soma doesn't wait until the end with major reveals. It has one near the beginning and a second one like 2/3 into the game. It doesn't hide it, because the story wants you to think about it for the rest of the game. WARNING Full story spoilers below You play as Simon, a car crash survivor who has a few months left to live due to the trauma to his brain. He goes to make a brain scan as a part of a study and wakes up in an underwater station in the middle of the Atlantic. It turns out that it's 2104 and the Earth was completely destroyed by a comet. The station's AI, tasked with keeping humanity alive, goes into panic mode and starts experimenting with what it can, now that there are only around 60 people left. It eventually starts using the brain scan machines to scan the crew and uses those images (including, presumably, a legacy one of Simon) to create essentially humans in robot bodies.
Simon-2 meets Catherine-2, who explains that she (as in the original Cath) wanted to use the station's satellite launcher to fire a cache with the brain scans of the crew, as a sentimental token, so there's anything left after humanity. But she noticed that the AI, in its own experimentation, modified the scanner and the box she used as a VR for those scans to make and animate scans that have consciousness. After that the ARK project becomes official and the entire station becomes engaged in it. The game's central plot is about finishing that project.
And the game just threads those story beats with questions to the player. Is a consciousness copied from a human to a robot really a living being? Well, how do you feel about that now, knowing that Simon is one. There's a part that talks about continuity, the idea that a copy of you is identical for a moment, and if you really want to live on, then the original you must die, so that you don't have more than one consciousness. So of course some of the crew started killing themselves right after Cath scanned them. This ties to the choice later in the game, where you have to transfer bodies and are left with 2 Simons, having to decide, if the other one lives or dies. It's a really good sci-fi narrative and everyone who likes those should play it. The only criticism I have is that the enemy encounters can get annoying, but they can be turned off. (don't have photos inside the station without dialogue, so enjoy these random shots)

Today was the first day I really felt like I could play something pretty much all month. I started a new playthrough of Pokemon Sword. I am really enjoying playing through something simple that I can go through at my own pace. Not quite ready for the big screen yet.

Pokemon Sword is lovely and cute Lee!
I got a few games from the psn sale under 10 dollars got:
Agents of Mayhem - so I heard from this one, Hollywood/Roderick Stone is pansexual, but I haven’t seen any indication of it yet at the start of the game, but apparently it was just the devs that said it? Anyway is a pretty fun game so far, has pretty great production values like a saturday morning cartoon coming alive with its quirky characters. And is from the team of Saints Row, sad to hear this game flopped and affected them cuz it has potential! For 3.99, is quite good right now XD.
Strange Brigade - this one is quite the interesting game, haven’t played too much of it yet, but is like a tomb raider uncharted thats more focus on the action gameplay rather than story and cinematics, it still has story and a hillarious narrator that calls you out when you go afk, but is more quirky like that then a really serious narrative. For 4.99, seems pretty trippy so far.
Resident evil 5 (first one I actually get from this franchise, you can totally guess why specifically I got this one hehe) I still haven’t played this one yet, waiting for a friend thats gonna play as Shiva with me, as I hear this game is much better with the co op lol, plus if I’m playing with someone I won’t be tense about it being my first zombie game.
I also got Saints row the third on Steam finally, since I never played any of those games, so gonna try this one out and then get the 4th if I like it for the gay romancing even if its well, Saints Row hahaha.

Saint's Row 4 is a great time. I still haven't played any of the others. I got the 3rd one, but just haven't played it (it's on ps3, that's probably why! I will get the remastered version eventually then I'll enjoy it.) Playing games on the ps3 now is just unpleasant. (mostly cause I can't use my ear buds...I'm odd about audio)

And here's another game I can recommend - Ori and the Blind Forest. It's a sidescrolling platformer. Plays kinda like Rayman or Guacamelee, but instead of going for humor it's more serious. And it's gorgeous. The art style, music, and gameplay are all fantastic.
There's a little bit of a difficulty curve, even on normal, but it only really got frustrating once. And that is a warning - get air dash early on. The Ginso Tree escape becomes incredibly difficult without it. I'm pretty sure almost half on my deaths were on that one sequence. Even with that it's only around 10 hours, and that's for a 100% completion.
Can't upload pictures, since imgur is down, so here's a tweet with them (also don't have a lot this time, since the game was almost over by the time I noticed nvidia capture stopped working...)
And some of my favourite tracks
And now I'm gonna go play the sequel. Guess thanks to taking so freaking long I don't have to wait 5 years for it.

So I am still playing AC Valhalla. (started it on Xmas eve, but playing slowly). I made it to England and upgraded the settlement some. I locked in the romance with the baker Tarben. I had a lot of glitches during his questline though-so it was a headache. The romance content itself was okay but very shallow. Still, it's good to be gay in a game. Started my first alliance quest, but haven't finished it yet. I am enjoying it more than raids for what it is worth.

Wanted to delay Ori and the Will of the Wisps a bit since I know I'll be sad, when it's over, so decided to knock out a few games from my backlog. I'm on a roll here, a third of the games I beat this year have been in December... Granted, that's not a lot: Close to the Sun - a horror game about a journalist, who is searching for her sister after getting a letter from her saying something bad has happened aboard the Helios, a ship, where Tesla gathered the brightest scientists. Looks a lot like Bioshock, but the narrative and gameplay are more like Amnesia. It feels like a pastiche of a game with a deep narrative, but it kinda doesn't get there. The biggest flaw was the camera, while running - it's puke-inducing. Dunno, if I'm getting old or something, because it's something I usually never have any problems with, and that's right after finding MEA's combat camera too tight. At least it's pretty, with all of the art deco design Conarium - yeah, don't play this one. It's your standard Lovecraftian horror with nothing exciting going on for it. And the voice acting is absolutely terrible.

Resident Evil 5 is such a fun game. It's definitely one that needs to be played with a friend though! I played it a lot with friends and family back when it was first released. I think it was one of the first PS3 games I had. So many fond memories of that game...I'm looking forward to playing it again sometime.
