Just added the new Castlevania Netflix series to my list. Can't wait to sit down and watch it. Really looking forward to watching this. Was never a big Castlevania fan but Im a huge Warren Ellis fan. IMO he has never written a bad thing. |

Few days ago I started watching Wynonna Earp. I was avoiding it, because it reminded me so much of Supernatural. Boy, never have I been so wrong. It's so much better and I dig wild west theme. I love how sassy Wynonna is and she's such an eye candy...  Her lil sis is also cute and I read that there is actually a queer couple, so it's another bonus. I'm after 5 episodes and I regret I decided to watch it now, not earlier. |

Waverly and Officer Haught are my favorite characters, but I also love how not together Wynonna is. Usually in shows like this a main character like Wynonna has their life together and their struggle is how they combine their supernatural life with their normal life but Wynonna is just a disaster area and her character arch is just being less of a disaster, I really like that. I can relate to her.  |

I love vampires but I hate anime so I'm conflicted about Castlevania lol Its a really well written & well voice acted show. The show is worth it for Dracula and his awesome powers alone. Not yet, but season 1 only has four episodes and with the exception of Dracula there is no indication of the sexual orientation of any of the main cast. It has been renewed for a second season which will have 8 episodes, so who knows. |

I enjoyed Castlevania, for the most part, a lot of cool ideas, but...literally every episode ends JUST as it's starting to get interesting. Anyway, technically not Netflix, but over on Amazon Prime there's a whole bunch of George Carlin stand-up specials and I'm watching them. I'm pretty sure it was originally designed, written & directed as a 2 hour pilot film & then cut up into 4 episodes. The whole flow of the episodes means that it's best watched all in one go. |

I'm rewatching Stranger Things with some of my family, and man...I'd forgotten just how viscerally uncomfortable I get during the bullying scenes (both high school and middle school). It's a good show, and I'm looking forward to season 2, but those scenes were more tense for me than a lot of the "horror" parts.

Recently I watched Glow (I didn't like it), Grace and Frankie (love it so much), and now I am re-watching season 6 of GOT. I still have 3 or 4 more episodes to binge before tomorrow night. Ready to see what is going on in Westeros.

I liked the diversity of the female cast tho but it wasn't enough to save it for me. |

Im binge watching like crazy Young Justice right now cuz its leaving Netflix August 1. Only 2 seasons so if you have any interest in DC heroes in general I really recommend it, the show has covered so many different heroes and villains from the universe like I never seen before while also having the "sidekicks" get the spotlight and see them grow really well.

and apparently trevor and sypha are gonna get married later and have dozens of descendants
and alucard getting a female love interest too urgh and here i hoped for at least a no romance anime i guess alucard can be made bi as he doesnt need to have kids so i guess one can hope or ill just drop the show whne it all happens, not like its new for me |

I decided to test my luck and see if Scream was on Netflix...and it is! It's been on my mind for some time now and I finally decided to watch it after listening to "Sidney's Lament" the past few days. It has been five years since I last saw the four films. They have always been some of my favorites. I really enjoyed going through it again as it is a classic. The remaining films are unfortunately not on Netflix, so I rented Scream 2 on Amazon..which is a bit funny because while watching Scream I found myself feeling nostalgic for the now extinct video rental stores and VHS tapes.  I feel like it's a decent sequel that is just as exciting as the original. I'm looking forward to watching Scream 3 on my next day off! I'm not sure if I will rent Scream 4 though...it's the only one I caught in theaters. While decent, I don't know if I am willing to spend extra money on it at the moment! |

Completely forgot how gay one of the 1st episodes of Midsomer Murders was. 90's gay so it is a bit homophobic about one of the men being a crossdresser but not bad. And of course the gay man is the victim but still.
Midsomer Murders was always better with including gay people then they were non white people. Even if the original side kick Troy was a homophobe, Barnaby was always making fun of him for it.

I'm looking for a new tv show to watch. Can anyone recommend something really good? Except animated series. I'm not into it. And it would be great if there were gays, too I started watching Black Mirror yesterday. It's interesting though I want something that doesn't have a different story every episode. |
