Awesome mod: Nine Inch Nails RadioIt's not exactly 100% lore-friendly, but it plays the instrumentals of NIN music on a new radio station and if you're a NIN fan it really makes exploring the wastes and combat really fun. I'm not playing a stealthy character so I don't mind blasting NIN through the Commonwealth, lol.

does radio ruin stealth? I always wondered about that. lol It doesn't. I always turn it off anyways, cause it can be distracting but enemies don't hear it. Flashlight does affect stealth though i'm pretty sure.

Thanks Ark ! Good to know. I don't use the radio much these days mainly cause the songs are mostly the same as fallout 3, so I've heard them all to death at this point, but it is nice now and again.

If you play on PC, there are some decent radio mods available. There's one I also use that adds a bunch of lore friendly post-WW2 music to Diamond City Radio. There may be some for Xbox One also. I wish Sony wasn't so stubborn about mods on PS4, but oh well :/

Yeah. I'm a ps4 player so probably not many radio mods. Yeah, I doubt it. I wonder why the PS4 is so restrictive, in comparison to Xbox One. I also have FO4 on PS4, and I was very annoyed at Sony while my gaming laptop was on the fritz lol Anyway, just did some of my favorite quests (The Silver Shroud!!!) and recruited Hancock

It sucks, but that's the jest of it I think.

Playing through Fallout 4's Far Harbor DLC always makes me wonder if maybe the Soul Survivor is a synth. But then I remember nah...they totally just added that whole mini-plot idea in at the last minute and didn't develop it at all. It's a shame it didn't have any more weight to it. It would actually make sense in some ways.

All for it of course, I love German Shepherds, if I could make synths I'd make more of them and probably not bother with synth people. I'd be very skeptical of sole survivor being a Synth if only for the fact that he's potentially able to destroy the Institute. If he was a synth I can't imagine Father letting him get that far before issuing a reset command. Farharbor is a great DLC though, ONE DAY I'll max affinity with the companion in it. But damn it there are more important people to bring along with you before you blow the place up finish the DLC.

Except you know...more daring and animated clearly.

Kasumi doesn't drop a synth component if she dies, so chances are she isn't a synth either, even though DiMA convinced her she was a synth too. I also read that both the Institute and the Railroad say they have no records of Kasumi; she isn't a synth. There's no hard evidence, but what we do have all point to her being human. I like DiMA; he has good intentions it seems, but he's also pretty shady and manipulative. I too had my doubts about whether the Sole Survivor was a synth or not. He's good at planting little ideas in your head and making you wonder, lol. I didn't take Old Longfellow around much in Far Harbor. I always brought Valentine, but it is hard to decide between the two since they both have unique dialogue in the DLC.

Kasumi's case is weird, apparently if you tell her she might be a synth, she'll drop a component if killed, but if you tell her she's not a synth, she doesn't drop one. I've always insisted that she isn't, so she never has for me, but i've seen other people claim that she does drop one for them. I'm curious if Gage has any dialogue or reactions on the island. I always save Nuka World for last. I should do it asap in next playthrough. just build settlements till level 30 then tear em down.

That is weird about Kasumi, I'll have to test that out when I get to Far Harbor. I suppose Bethesda purposefully left it ambiguous so you continue to wonder about her, DiMA's intentions and honesty, and the whole "how can you tell if someone's a synth and what makes them different" themes of FO4. Idk if Gage would have anything to say. My guess is he will react to actions and dialogue like the other companions, but remain silent. I may do Open Season this playthrough and end up killing him, but it was pretty funny to see Preston's reaction and telling him to STFU. I have no idea what Bethesda was thinking though when they kept the Sole Survivor as the General of the Minutemen so Preston can continue dishing out endless settlement quests while hating them and refusing to open dialogue.

Yeah I think they should have only kept you in the minute men if you didn't finish the game yet. It just doesn't make sense if you already completed the game.
