I understand that. It's easy to avoid the main quest and still play for ever, specially if you have the dlc. I like the main quest the best though, so I tend to get serious about it about the time I hit level 30 to 40. I don't even know for sure who I'm siding with this time though. last time I focused on getting all the companions and getting their affinity up, then on working with the Railroad, Brotherhood & Minutemen. I just did so many side quests & radiant quests that by the time I went back to do the main quest I was burnt out, so I haven't even offical met the Initiative. This time I'm going to pace things out better and use mods to smooth over the more annoying aspects of the game to help prevent burn out. This is a common problem for me with Bethesda games (developed, not published) they want players to have so much 'freedom' that I feel so little drive to do what should be important aspects of the game. I love the the mod that lets me craft without junk, or to craft junk items and supply shipments. it feels like it made the game so much faster, and it doesn't feel much like cheating-cause really I'm only cutting out looting and searching or wasting caps on junk items. good times.

I also have one that lets you create a jukebox that increases your settlers happiness and another that shuts Preston up when it comes to this radiant quests. Little stuff that makes the game more enjoyable but nothing that feels like outright cheating.

Though it did slow down my minute men questing for a while since he was mean and gave me a hard one too soon. I had to find settlements own my own. Gaming the system wasn't too hard though. I know where a lot of the places are by memory anyway.

I'm considering using this mod when I get back into Fallout 4's nuka world dlc. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not. link I really don't want to lose Preston, but the evil version of the story feels more complete-the good version is pretty lacking. eh...

I love Gage so much, so I would say - do it. But better leave Preston still at home, otherwise he will give you the mission to clean up Nuka World.

Ugh I hate nick valentine during his personal quest! He keeps running ahead of me, and he's not technically a companion right now, so my perks don't keep him from getting us blown up by mines. fuck Nick calm your tits!

I haven't had much luck with the first Fallout game. I've played six hours so far and have discovered a few towns, but the extreme difficulty of combat is really what is turning me away from it. I just don't like that my character is pretty useless in combat so far. I might give it another try soon, but I'm probably going to end up distracted by Tomb Raider and Dragon Age instead. If I just can't get through it (like Knights Of The Old Republic), I might just give up and skip to Fallout 2 or 3.

Fallout 2 actually has same sex marriage, yet Fallout 3 by Bethesda does not have any LGBT content sadly, but Fallout New Vegas by Obsidian has it again Also there are many LGBT NPCs in New Vegas (also companions with flirts and mini romances - especially with restoration/uncut mods), also many terminals has cool stories including LGBT mentions if you have time to read them all Gosh, I would love to have FNV in FO4 updated engine, I know that fan project is going strong to bring New Vegas to FO4/SSE engine I should mention that there is a project called ''Fallout Cascadia'', it looks awesome so far, and will bring back classic dialogue system from New Vegas, Skills, more choices overall, also some more new features, and it can be found here www.facebook.com/falloutcascadiaSome more pics
