Well MacCready cooldown for stealing things is... non-existent, I stole one thing in those warehouses, I waited 1 hour, 2 hours, and 24 hours out in a bench... Nothing... I mean my character doesnt steal civilians anyway, but I thought I could burst his affinity a little, it seems they patched that. EDIT. It worked waiting 48 hours, which kinda sucks if you think about the narrative, but at least I have those warehouses to steal from bad guys when I need affinity (technically those items belong to Hancock lol)On other hand I'm keeping my gholie boyfriend for the rest of the game, I was going to leave him in Goodneighbor headcanoning that he's doing mayor duties meanwhile maxing these five companions affinity, but fuck it, I need my boy by my side I'm headcanoning that Piper and Nick are doing research to help me to find my son with their jobs (I'm not doing the Glowing Sea yet, that sounds big deal, and I want my main companions for that) Something like: Codsworth is in my old home in Sanctuary, he has befriended with a lovely pink male Automatron that I built. Cait is finding herself after cleaning her body from drugs, she's Mama Murphy's buddy. Preston is running the place as my second on command in the Castle. Ada is in the Mechanist's lair with Isabel, she's finding out what her friends taught her about mercy and forgiveness. Jezebel is there too, just as annoying as ever, in the hopes that something from Ada's kindness stick with her, if not... exile lol. Piper and Nick in Diamond City, doing their jobs and helping me in the process. I'm totally headcanoning that MacCready will join to Minutemen in the Castle once I max out his affinity. With Strong something like Cait finding his humanity, maybe in Sanctuary helping build things and being Sturges's buddy lol Deacon is easy, he should be in the Railroad running things same as Danse running things with the Brotherhood. Curie... Mmmm I need to know her better, it seems that she doesnt like to be in Vault 81. Edit. Oooohh MacCready has a soft spot for children!!! That's pretty sweet! So far I have: MacCready 147.50, Curie 216.54 and Strong 45, those points from Strong are from helping people, seriosly this guy is so bipolar. I'm thinking of maxing these guys first and then Deacon and Danse together, even though they hate each other I assume

I'm kinda pissed off because I didnt know that that Nakano family mission was Far Harbor, and that dlc starts way too soon in the game... Story-wise doesnt make sense, I havent even met the Railroad yet the Nakano family is going to wait forever because my son is way more important and I'm preparing my companions and stuff, you know Bethesda (this happens with some DA and ME dlcs too, and I hate it...) I wish you could activate story-dlcs whenever you want ingame. Seriously doing those endless quests for the Minutemen is the way to go with Strong if you are roleplaying a good character. It's a slow process tho... I told Danse that I will join to the Brotherhood, Kiran wants every resource and allies to find his son. And I want to know them from inside of course, I know some spoilers but my character doesnt so he needs to know the Brotherhood first hand.

(Danse's friends) sometimes they try to send you to far harbor for quests.

I believe you can only get Danse's first dialogue without officially committing yourself to the Brotherhood. You can get his affinity over 1000, but it won't trigger another dialogue or perk.

(Danse's friends) sometimes they try to send you to far harbor for quests. that is exactly what happened the Brotherhood girl sent me to the Nakano family home, I was like the heck is that I think I have several saves that can help me, I was so pissed yesterday that I stopped playing XD but is the fact that I did the talk with Ellie what got me so pissed, I shouldnt have put the radio, but the mission triggers by itself so it doesnt really matter, it's like this missing girl that I'm ignoring so far and it happens to be a long looong dlc... with Mass Effect's Arrival dlc is the same, you have this mission way to soon activated in the game when it should be the last thing you should do storywise I'm kinda pissed off because I didnt know that that Nakano family mission was Far Harbor, and that dlc starts way too soon in the game... Hmm Danse wants me to visit the Prydwen now, but I did say to him that I would join the Brotherhood, so I assume what you're saying happens later right? so I have to be an official member to get the perk right? mmm wonder when am i going to see the crappy things that the Brotherhood does, I hope I wont be stuck in a moral dilema (Rhys js racist already so... XD)

So reaally explore the Brotherhood, but don't plan on maxing out Danse's affinity if you want to go with the Railroad. If it makes you feel better, his perk is just that you do more damage to ghouls.

I'll try not to spoil anything, but my understanding is that the trigger for Danse's quest is to complete a quest for the brotherhood that locks off the Railroad ending for good.
I believe the Minutemen path is the only one that can keep him alive with the Railroad intact.

I hate these things

XD dont worry, I keep reading that you need to do Danse's quest and nothing else from BoS to keep him alive, but if I need to side only with the Minutemen to keep him alive I will, and I just dont know how bad BoS is now to destroy them just yet, I have many hours of the game to play XD Speaking of which, searching info of this I just ate a BIG AND GIANT spoiler about my son

I didn't read everything said here, but you can get Danse's Perk and romance and still end with the Railroad, the thing is you have to not talk to Captain Kells after turning in the quest Blind Betrayal. Kells will order you to destroy the Railroad, and they instantly go hostile against you.

So here's my comprehensive guide with Danse and endings: 1) If you want Danse's perk, you need to finish Blind Betrayal and then max his affinity. After that, the perk remains no matter which ending you choose.
2) Danse will turn hostile if you become hostile with the Brotherhood before finishing Blind Betrayal
3) If you want to romance Danse and want to bring him along after an ending, you cannot destroy the brotherhood. This means that you have to a) side with the brotherhood and don't destroy the brotherhood (yes, you could side with them and destroy them afterward lol). This requires killing off the railroad. b) side with the minuteman and don't destroy the brotherhood (i.e. don't do With Our Powers Combined quest) Ending the game with the Railroad or the Institute require destruction of the brotherhood. If this happens, Danse will no longer follow you even if you already romance him.
4) If you want to side with the minutemen and want to spare the railroad, do not even talk to captain Kells after turning in Blind Betrayal. Doing so will immediately turn the railroad hostile.

I'm on the fence of what to do with BoS, I have so many time ahead that it doesnt matter right now, but I met the people from Prydwen and there's some good people, and the thought of killing them makes me a sad potato. Maxson is very killable tho I miss Nick and Piper, my bros. I think it's time to meet Deacon, bringing Danse to his lair doesnt make any sense isnt it? I brought Curie, Strong and Hancock to the Prydwen because my balls are in charge lolol (headcanon that they are my comrades and they should trust them, so funny in that medical test if I've fucked a non-human, well ... My gholie boy is right there kinda immersion breaking there's no comment about that tho... ) edit. loool seriously why there's no option to get rid of the corpses it irks me so much, there is a beheaded Minutewoman in my fucking castle xDDDDDDDD like the fuck Preston bury the poor woman lol
