The "middle" responses only earns +5 rivalry, whereas the super pro-mage response is +10. I go with the middle usually. I mostly go with the super-pro-mage response, if I play as radical pro-mage, regardless, that I want to build friendship or rivalry. It's is possible. Only slow down the process, but at Danarius, Hawke already on 100%, and can prevent him to kill Varania, without rivalry gained... (For example Merrill's quest can help, if Hawke doesn't kill her clan, Fenris's happy. So, the quest order can be important, not the answers. I have the wiki loaded up when I play DA2 I must maximize my points where if I need to be a dick about certain things I know how to cover the "point" spread. But yeah...it's my first run in a while, so part of me just wants to max out fenris as soon as possible.

Also, an easy way to earn +10 friendship is take him with you when trying to find Feynriel (or however you spell his name). You'll encounter the slaver, and you have the option to let Fenris torture him, which you can imagine Fenris just loves But don't take him with you to the Wounded Coast when you actually find the kid, unless you plan to send Feynriel back to the Circle. Do take Isabela, Merrill, or Anders if you plan to free him. Yes, true. The Act1 is the critical, even in friendship and rivalry. Hadriana is the most critical point in rivalry, but the best one in friendship (even if you want to help to Orana – give her coins just momently help, but give her work is good). Good place to gain friendship is Feynriel's Fade quest. If Hawke doesn't want to see Feynriel as possessed, Fenris give friendship points here: if Hawke refuses solth demon, or "kills" Justice (poor Anders so sweet after this), and later refuses sloth demon. Merril's quest also a good place to gain friendship points. If Hawke shows sorry for Marethari, and doesn't kill Merrill's clan.

(as I said: I max the friendship/rivalry only at the Act3, never sooner...)

I try to have everyone maxed in early act 2. Then I just play the game however I want. It's so nice having a lock in system. I think more games should have that if they insist on a point scale at all.

Hey guys, we should start putting spoiler tags on large images from now on. Several people are having a hard time with images loading up on their screen. Thanks

I found me fave Fenhawke fanart. Hawke makes for a fetching Persephone, don't you think?

This is still my favorite piece of Fenris art. But this one is good, too:
Maybe we'll have a cameo from Fenris in DA4! Since we're going to Tevinter, it's a good time to bring him back. I'd love to see him again. Oh wow... he looks amazing in that first pic. The 2nd one is no longer visible. Ty for sharing. Saved to my unending and chaotic collection of drawings which I'll never get to sort at this rate...

OmG, I never could understand how elves and hobbits can go around barefoot. Even if it doesn't hurt you for whatever reason, the fact they'd have stuff on their feet all the time. eep. I couldn't deal with it.
