Between this and MEA...seriously. Exactly. I can't say I am ever returning to a Bioware game. Even cancelling my Battlefront 2 pre-order right now because of it being EA.

I was at work when the patch dropped so now I'm anxiously waiting for the patch to download. Ugh, not sure I want to take my poor Inquisitor who romanced him through this.

I don't see where the heck they're trying to go with this. Also like the others said...it makes NO sense for a light side character. None. Ah well. I guess we have a several month (at least?) wait until we find out more.

I really hope this is turnaround somehow, and by the time im actually playing the expansions it has been resolved lol. If not I'll pretend me and T7 are on a relationship I guess.

Outside of the lag and weird motion sickness the train gave me, I just found the whole thing hilarious. Like omg it was so terribly out of character. My 'never taken a dark side choice in his life Consular' is somehow the bad guy now and just... what. I just hate that we may wait a long time for more story content and I fear them dragging it on. I also fear Theron will now face the same problem Koth has if he ends up killable because then Bioware have stuffed over both f/m and m/m fans yet again.
It felt so ridiculous and I swear to god, if this isn't some double agent fuckery... Like, I just finished playing the Agent story again and all of his stuff felt 100x more believable than the bullshit Theron just said. Now to be a masochist and play it through with my Inquisitor.

Now I've done the flashpoint with my main Consular and my Inquisitor that romanced Theron I don't think I'll even bother to take the rest of my alts through it. Until they add legacy wide currency for the new currency, or they start bringing companions back datamining mentioned Ashara and Andronikos so I may take my other Inquisitor through at some point for those two, though they could both tell him to piss off as he sided with the Republic I don't see the point. I also hate that I need to boost Lana's influence up for all characters just so she won't be terrible in it. The fights weren't terribly hard but the gimmicks and companion derping doesn't help. My Consular had her at Influence 28, and I think it was only his high gear that didn't make the fights overly annoying. (The lag certainly didn't help matters on the train portion.)

I feel like a stowaway because I havent played the game so my opinion doesn't matter XD just passing by to say that the thing with Theron being a traitor have two radical opposite outcomes, if he's truly a traitor it sucks because it's the only decent with good content m/m option and if he's not a traitor that would mean a great m/m plot relevance romance. I hope it's the latter, hoping for the best for you guys. also, this comment was just an excuse to say how cute it is reading obiwancomeblowme and Centum discussing this in his yt channel

Yeah, anyone who is killable just ends up being a background prop. Same can be said for all the others who might be killed, last thing I want is for that to happen to Theron. I have so little faith in Bioware to pull this off and even if they do, you know there's a 99.9% chance they'll give you the kill/banish option and then that's that. Honestly I'd have no reason to make new characters at that point, it's already a slog getting all the way through vanilla to reach Forged Alliances/KOTFE depending on who of the two I plan to romance. I honestly feel like a masochist every time I make someone new to romance Koth because I know how little content he gets. I really don't want to be stuck with the Lana show. I thought the same about Vector. Maybe it comes a bit later? idk. Other datamining just mentioned the two Inquisitor companions along with Risha and Corso. I kind of want to shake Bioware and ask when the hell my Consular is going to get the rest of his back. He only has Qyzen so far and he misses his best friend.

I got through the Flashpoint three times on my main before the lag and severe fps drop on the train part made me ragey. I swear, it feels like they compiled a list of what would annoy melee players the most and threw it all into one flashpoint. Fuck that final boss and his circles of fire and all the adds who run into it so I can't hit the damn things.

So I played it the night it came out and the betrayal convo was just as awful as I imagined it would be but it was sooo badly written that it has me convinced that it isn't a betrayal at all. I actually think the PC was in on it because no-one would buy that shit. Also if you're in a romance, there are so many sweet moments that make it so clear that Theron's under duress or going off on his own to take down The Order. You can send a galaxy-wide message (it's really sweet; everyone in the galaxy can hear it) saying, "I love you, please come home" and Theron replies to himself all sad, "I love you too but I can't yet."
It still stings and I need the next update like fucking yesterday but there is hope at least. I'm really hoping that the Commander was in on it so we won't have the option to kill him. One other thing: I got an email from Arcann and we was all like, "I'm so sorry you've been betrayed but I'm here for you and I'll protect you." It was like he was coming on to me or something. Interesting... Edit: As for the FP, I hate it so much with the stupid exploding barrels that have a cool-down, the dumb power-ups, the lag and trying to kill things taking forever because I played through as a tank and Lana hitting/healing like a wet noodle. Oh and btw you only get 2 recon data for story mode so I think it takes 40 times to get the train.... yeah I'm not doing that.

I actually didn't have any lag on the fp, but the motion sickness kills me. I'm not sure how I'm going to get through it enough times to get the base.

I think the lag was because I played it the moment the servers went back up and there were a lot of people doing the same thing. The same happened with Kaliyo's chapter. As for Arcann, I kind of want him to be an LI because more options is always better but at the same time, LS Arcann kinda creeps me out with his soft, caring voice. I wish he'd kept more of his DS personality tbh. Now he just sounds like his mother and it's weird

I wish he'd kept more of his DS personality tbh. Now he just sounds like his mother and it's weird I still had lag at 6am this morning when it only had two instances. The train part is just awful but the boss fight with the engineer and assassin is so painful because of the lag. Doesn't help the assassin will spam her knockback cone until she finally hits you with it, which is so tedious on melee. Also, for the recon data, you can get 6 per run on story mode which is ten runs. One from the first and second boss, two from the bonus boss, and two from the final boss I think. (I know you get six either way, just can't remember who gives what outside of the bonus bosses two.) Though even with just ten runs the motion sickness and lag gives me a headache after a while, but it only lags on the train, soon as it crashes I'm back to 60-100+ fps. As for Arcann, they have teased but then they've teased a lot of stuff so I won't hold my breath, though his letters have been getting increasingly more... protective and filled with innuendo. My Consular has been waiting for him, though I'm not sure I could trust Bioware to put the thought into doing a romance properly between those two given their past history. It would need to be a slow burn spread out, much like how the flirtations with Lana and Theron started before progressing further. (Enemies to friends to lovers for example) But given Bioware have dropped the ball on the traitor stuff and companion returns (seriously where the hell has Scourge been whilst my Knight has been stuck with Vitiate in his head) it's hard to hold onto any hope.

I wiped on him because Lana suddenly died out of the blue. I'll admit I wasn't watching her health but she didn't say any of her normal things like "Carry on without me!". Anyway I just carried on as a tank using all my defensives but my DPS was for shit obviously and in what seemed like hours (probably 5 minutes or something) I managed to get him down to 5% but I was also at the same health and used my borrowed health cooldown but couldn't kill him before it took the health back and killed me. After that I thought f-ck it and just wanted the FP to be over. It was good to practice my tanking skills though and I can't believe I lasted so long without a healer. I don't know how I ended up with just 2 recon data. I killed everything else. I also thought you needed 80 for the train but it's obviously 60. So 10 is way better than 40 like I thought but I seriously don't think I have the stomach for it.

Killing them gives it a major buff, I hit them first time I fought it, and Arcann was left at like 5% health by the end of it because he eats the cone attack. I hate how often the aggro resets on all the bosses, and it's such a pain to try and not hit the adds considering one of my rotation abilities is an aoe. >_> Also no idea how you only ended up with 2, that means you didn't loot half the bosses, unless it bugged on you? IDK. The bonus boss is good to do because it nets you those extra two. Just try not to hit the little adds, I don't know how much harder it'll be for someone running as a tank though. :/ It's annoying that you can't even cap if you just run solo story, most you can get is 48 before you go over cap and waste the data.

You've more patience than I have... That was the first (and only) time I did the FP and I didn't realise that killing the adds buffed him but before I even read your post I thought "why not see if Dulfy's got a guide?" and checked it out. There seems to be way too many mechanics for a solo FP considering it's just you and a companion who constantly stands in stupid. I didn't realise that I was losing threat every time it happened because I didn't have target of my target turned on because you know, it was just a dumb solo FP and I didn't realise I'd have to actually pay attention! I don't normally tank group content but tanks are great for heroics because you can just put your comps to DPS and wizz through them so much faster... although I've got to the point where I don't even do those anymore because it's the same thing again and again... screw CXP and screw credits. I'll be poor and running around in my crap 230s.

I'll be poor and running around in my crap 230s. I wanted to get it out of the way, especially as the lag doesn't seem to have improved at all. Needed to hit cap by Tuesday to take advantage of it. (I also want that mount once I grab the stronghold so I need like 5 more runs altogether. ) Yeah I did it blind and learned only through Dulfy that I shouldn't have smacked those little adds. At least my damage output was high enough to kill it and the adds before they could finish murdering my healer. But yeah, it's not fun to try and do things with the mechanics with a companion who derps. If they're not standing in cones and getting knocked off things, they're standing in fire and luring adds to them so I can't hit them *still salty about the spider tank* I didn't have target of my target turned on either but soon realized after certain abilities the bosses would lose all interest in me to go smack my companion about. Annoyingly they seem to reset aggro quicker than my taunt's cooldown. Can't say I look forward to dpsing my way through it on my characters that lack taunts (so all but my shadow and assassin. ) Understandable. I've gotten to the point that if I run Heroics I stick my companion in dps or tank mode. It's only Iokath that I need a healer because everything seems to hit like a truck. Though even if you don't do Heroics anymore, Dailies are currently offering a ton of cxp for each part. I know my main was getting 2700+ in victory state, and my others without the boosts were getting around 1500 so it's pretty good given how quick the dailies are to do. (Though if you don't care about cxp at all then it doesn't matter. ) I know I stopped grinding once my Shadow main was done. My alts are all around rank 20-50 with my Sentinel around 130ish.
