Understandable. I've gotten to the point that if I run Heroics I stick my companion in dps or tank mode. It's only Iokath that I need a healer because everything seems to hit like a truck. Though even if you don't do Heroics anymore, Dailies are currently offering a ton of cxp for each part. I know my main was getting 2700+ in victory state, and my others without the boosts were getting around 1500 so it's pretty good given how quick the dailies are to do. (Though if you don't care about cxp at all then it doesn't matter. ) I know I stopped grinding once my Shadow main was done. My alts are all around rank 20-50 with my Sentinel around 130ish. I mean I kind of care. I want to be 300 or whatever it is and I did plug at it for a while when the CXP was super difficult to earn. I got so fed up I took a break, then I came back and ground to level 91 on my shadow by doing chapter one on vet a million times until my head was about to explode. I know that you level up much easier now but I'm not sure I want to commit to it again. Rank 300 seems like a distant dream that I'll never achieve. Also, they're going to have to introduce some sort of catch-up mechanic at some point when the next expansion comes out and the level goes up otherwise new players are going to be screwed. At this point, I may as well just wait for that, assuming that another xpac is due for sometime this autumn. Failing that, I'll wait for some double cxp event or something. I just can't face doing it the normal way even if it is much quicker than it was.

I just can't face doing it the normal way even if it is much quicker than it was. Yeah I earned most of my cxp back when it was still an incredible chore to do so, when they nerfed gold mobs and such. (I still have 1000's of Alliance Crates through the Heroic grinding.) There is a double cxp/xp event starting Tuesday so it might be worth it to pick it up again? Even if you don't want to grind, those Daily areas giving out 1000+ (more once double cxp hits) with no boost, might be worth some time if you do want to try earning a few more ranks. I know I'll finish getting my Knight into at least tier 3. Honestly I wonder how they'd even introduce a new level at this point. As soon as you hit 300 you start earning tier 4. They can't include a tier 5 without making tier 4 go from 'rank' to 'rank' level first, and considering I've probably ground through several hundred levels worth of tier 4, I certainly don't want to be stuck grinding all the way up to tier 5. Letting people buy tier 1 set bonus for command tokens was nice, but yeah, if they even do increase the ranking they're going to have to include a catch up mechanic. I couldn't imagine a new player coming into the game if there was a tier 5 or 6 and having to start at tier 1 considering the grind and their cxp nerfing.

The "ugh" isn't directed at you I'm just imagining the grind. Maybe if I stick to no more than an hour a day or something. I also have a few lowbies and a few 65s I wanna push to 70 as well. My main is only at 19, so you guys are waaaaaay ahead of whatever curve I'm on. My highest is 91 and that was a slog... all the rest are barely out of double digits. They need to make command rank legacy wide... like right now.

Might be worth it even if you don't grind anything else. I know the last cxp even I grinded so much that by the time I got my last set bonus piece I was so done with grinding. XD My Knight is currently at 149 so I'll likely push him to at least 180 so he hits tier 3. Even with the changes, he's still been getting pretty crap gear from the crates and hardly any set bonus. I'd just like to replace his 230 armourings with something a bit better. (Not that he needs the gear because I don't raid blahblah, but it's one of the few things that keeps me playing whilst I wait for more story.) Whilst doing that I also plan to get my new Warrior to 70. I've levelled three Imperial characters in a row through class+planet quests and I am so sick to death of Imp side planet missions at this point. (Especially as I always feel bad doing them. )

Also, to think about things less depressing than that flashpoint, what does everyone's characters look like? I'm always curious to see what species and class combo's other people use, and see how they dress them, considering I've spent so much time myself playing space Barbie dress up in this game.

By dailies, do you mean CZ-198, Oricon, Section X and Yavin? Because I think it would take me more than an hour to do them. CZ-198 is quick but Yavin takes about 25 minutes minimum (for me anyway) and I haven't done Section X in donkeys years so I'll be slow at that as well probably. DK/Coruscant and Tatooine heroics are quick but when you know the NPC completion dialogue off by heart, you know you've done it too many times I probably still will though... Also, to think about things less depressing than that flashpoint, what does everyone's characters look like? I posted some shots here but I have 30+ alts. I might make some more screens if I'm not too lazy. As for species, I normally make about half and half aliens/humans but most of my aliens are Mirialan because they look basically human. I don't really like playing species that don't have eyebrows although I have a Rattataki merc and assassin and a Zabrak shadow and assassin. I unlocked Togruta but I haven't created one I like yet. I want to make one that looks like Ashara but in CC there is no eyebrows or makeup (even though every NPC female Togruta has eyebrows) and the male lekku are just sad... I also unlocked Cathar but I just can't with cat people. I've made a couple but ended up deleting them or switching races because it bugs me that they are furry. Apart from that, I have a male Chiss operative (obviously) and a female Twi'lek assassin (I make a lot of assassins/shadows - I'm addicted to the saberstaff). What am I forgetting? Oh, I have a Sith PB assassin who looks like Poison Ivy but I don't play her much even though she looks cool. Screw it. Here's a bunch of my characters (warning large images): Edit: I forgot to mention that I basically make the same character over and over (same face and body type) because I'm boring

I don't bother with Section X because it takes too long and it has a weird bug right now where a certain quest or logging out in the area or... something resets your alignment. Right now I'm doing them on my Knight, takes me about an hour and he does Czerka, Yavin, Black Hole, and Ziost. Also for the dailies you only need to do however many galactic command asks, like 4 or 5 usually - though if you're not a sub and don't have access to it, you could still just do some of the quicker ones. If you're a tank you should be fine with sticking them on dps. My Sentinel is a bit squishy so I generally switch Scourge from tank or dps to heals on Czerka, but you should be fine with a dps companion for the most part as long as their influence is high. Also nothing wrong with boring. XD I usually end up sticking with humans and pureblood's myself. I'm terrible, I make a load of alts, finish the class story and then end up deleting them so right now I just have six characters I play. I also only have force users because I don't enjoy the pew pew classes much. I struggle to get through the class story, think about doing the expansions with them, and then end up deleting them. Though Warrior and then Inquisitor are my most played classes. For preferring the Republic, I play an awful lot of Empire characters. Edit: Looked at your other post, it's nice to find someone else who plays on Progenitor.

I'm exactly the same when it comes to force users over tech users. I think all but one of my tech users are pictured above but I have a load more force users not in that post. TBH, the only class story for tech users I like is the Agent. I kind of rotate between sentinel, marauder, shadow, assassin and then I throw in an operative every now and then. My tank that I play was a bit of a shake up for me. I wanted to play a juggernaut but I wasn't enjoying his DPS spec so I thought I'd try out the tank spec and the way I practised was to do high level heroics with a companion set to DPS and then I judged my performance on how much health we both had left after the big fights and I kind of fell in love with smashing though everything and jumping face first into a bunch of elites and coming out relatively unscathed. I'm still to chicken too take him into group content though. Also I basically think the Empire is evil but I can't stop making Empire characters because I just prefer the story lines and voice actors. Playing a LS sith is more fun to me than playing a LS jedi (they just sound so sappy). Edit: Looked at your other post, it's nice to find someone else who plays on Progenitor. Most of my characters are on the Red Eclipse and the Progenitor is my overflow server. Everything I do there is just for fun and to play through the stories but sometimes I end up with a character I really like and transfer him or her back. I also transfer old characters that I invested too much in (like crafting and influence) to delete but I don't really play anymore over to to the Progenitor to support my newbies. I'm always transferring back and forth... it's dumb really.

I'm always transferring back and forth... it's dumb really. Same, I really enjoyed Agent, but my dislike of gun classes means I've only ever gotten as far as KOTFE on one before I ended up deleting him. I've played all the other gun classes but they were all deleted after I finished the class story, though my Trooper made it as far as KOTFE to reunite with Aric before I deleted her also. I'm the same with Juggernaut/Guardian, I've made another after I deleted my last one, but I generally enjoy playing my Marauder and my Sentinel far more. But I can't blame you for enjoying the tank spec because of that reason. XD I've just never been too fond of playing a tank or healer, I guess I like hitting things too much for it. Same about the Empire. I always feel guilty having to kill Jedi and doing the planet quests always make me feel horrible (especially Taris.) But I find the class stories far more fun and I like playing Light Sith, they're more fun than Light jedi, usually because other npcs are so surprised by it (though I always hate auto dialogue or action where my Warrior would kill someone he would have spared if not for cutscenes taking control of him.) Ah, understandable. Can't say I blame you for sticking to one server. I mostly only joined Progenitor at the time as it looked like a quieter server and I didn't want to be hounded by other players in the same area all the time, though sometimes it's a little too quiet. These are my current characters, I think I've got a mostly stable group finally, that I won't feel the need to delete anytime soon. Shadow/Sentinel/Assassin Juggernaut/Sorcerer/Marauder

Ah your guys look much more intersting than mine and more importantly they're fully clothed I always go BT3 these days and so many chest pieces look bad, like they don't fit right, so they all end up bare chested. I also have a hard time finding anything I like but I do like the look of your jugg's chest piece. What is that? And the belt. I like the Gifted Shadow chest on your shadow but the collar looks all wrong on my big guys... plus it's like 15mil or something ridiculous like that and I alwys have to buy the whole set so I can unlock it and that 's about another 30.

Nothing wrong with going shirtless. I see so many female characters half naked that it's almost refreshing to see some guys showing a bit of skin. Only my Knight shows a little skin but the sheer amount of other clothing he wears elsewhere kinda covers him up. But I understand your problem with some clothing looking bad on BT3. My Assassin and my Sorcerer are both BT1 and many things look bad on them because they're so scrawny, I usually end up bulking them out a little though with my Assassin I had to go slim so his hair wouldn't terrible clip. My Juggernaut is wearing parts from the Primeval Stalker set, which works quite well on BT3. He also has the Revan's legs and boots on mostly because I like the skirty part of it but it also has pants under it. Yeah I've spent a stupid amount of credits in the past for my dress up Barbie ways, but I generally hoard my credits so I don't feel bad splurging sometimes.

I just did every daily in the game (except Iokath) on TWO characters yesterday and it took me nearly 6 hours and I have to do the same today, and tomorrow and every day until the patch on Tuesday because I earned 64!!! crates on my lowbie marauder who was only CR14 in one session and around 50 on my assassin who was about CR 95 or something. That was with superior command boosts and the 10% legacy boost. So much for pushing my low levels up to 70.

XD See, I never bothered with doing every single Daily, but I had some advantages so I guess I still got a lot of cxp even without doing every single one. I managed to take my Knight from about 159 to 300. Reached 300 using a cxp pack as it had finally hit light side bonus. But even though it has been taking you a while that's still far faster than it would be without the Dailies giving out tons of cxp (sadly fixed with next Tuesday's patch) and the double cxp. I know my Knight would never have reached this far otherwise. Accomplished both things I wanted though. Getting my Knight to 300 and getting my new Warrior to 70. (Started Forged Alliances on him already. I'm holding onto the hope that this triple agent stuff is true and he's not gonna get his heart broken.

I am loving the extra CXP we're getting on Oricon/CZ/Yavin etc, very glad they couldn't fix the bug yet. I've taken my main from 18 to 76 in 3 days, and that's with only an hour or 2 of play at a time.

I know my Knight would never have reached this far otherwise. Oh I know which is why I'm working like a dog to take advantage of it because when it goes away, I really am done with any grind. I hope to get at least my shadow to 300, maybe my marauder too (if the packs don't slow down too much) so at least I know if I go off and play them then I'm getting 246s and (possibly) 248s every time I level up just doing what I want. Good for you for getting to 300 on both AND getting your lowbie up to 70! I like to get to 70 as quick as possible so I can relax and just do the missions I want but I actually like playing stories so even if my trooper has to level up slowly because I'm busy with this, it won't be so bad. My god it's a slog though I am loving the extra CXP we're getting on Oricon/CZ/Yavin etc, very glad they couldn't fix the bug yet. As someone who also thought he'd never get to tier 2 (let alone 3 or 4) it feels so nice to see the levels shooting up I wish they would rotate one dailies planet every day with this *bugged* progression so you could log in for half an hour and get 5-10 packs every day. At least you would feel like you were progressing and it would be a godsend for alts.

Same, last cxp event I was lucky to finish getting the last 248's I needed on my main, and I really grinded through that event (was lucky to time a week off work perfectly) but this one I've only being doing the Dailies the GC planetary missions ask for rather than doing every single daily. I didn't want to burn out considering I'd spent several months a while back grinding every single planetary mission every day. But yeah I like to get to 70 quickly, mostly so I have my full rotation abilities, but also so I don't have to grind through side quests/planet quests. I've leveled like, four Empire characters up through class/planet missions recently, and I really did not want to suffer through the planet stories again. But I will miss the cxp Dailies currently have, it was somewhat nice to see the zones occupied rather than completely dead, but they'll go back to being dead, even if Bioware slightly boosts what the original payout for them was.
