Jakkaro has a max 50 Influence possible but the new Padawan doesn't so I'm guessing he's only a temporary companion. I suppose it makes a bit of sense, he'd not join us adventuring when he still has his own Master and is a new Padawan, but still a shame, unless they add him later (or idk he becomes a romance but not a companion yet, a bit like Lana and Theron were originally, in a way.) I guess we'll find out in September. Though if he is that heavily damaged, I'm kinda surprised Tau would take him on as a Padawan... I don't think anyone survived from that tale she told us of her group being attacked and her going nuts on the enemy. If it's not just a placeholder and he is 98% cyborg, I hope we learn how he came to be like that. If he's not the droid romance they teased then... idk. Also in the Corellia stuff, Anri, Tau, and Malgus are named in the listing but no Daeruun or Jonas which is weird and a little disappointing. There's also a listing for Senya but no Arcann (and Theron and Lana but no Koth so that's even weirder.) |

Could be... that would be funny though.  Would be nice that, that scene isn't just a throw away thing, though I wonder how you telling her to not take one on would change it, if at all. Maybe she gets one regardless of your opinion. Still would be a shame if they locked a romance behind being a Pub, considering a loyalist Imperial gets nothing, and you couldn't even flirt with that Pureblood you meet when giving the speech, or the guy you rescue on Ossus. Heck, both male flirts currently (Jonas and Daeruun) are locked either behind being a Pub or an Imp Saboteur. Doesn't really affect -me- as my Loyalist is taken, but for others it would be a shame as otherwise there's only ladies to flirt with. Hell, even the Dantooine lead in quest you can only flirt with ladies on both sides.  That's possible. I don't think much has shown up for the other planets other than Imps at least meeting Jakarro on Onderron(sp?) as that's where the droid has ties to. But hopefully Jonas and Daeruun will show up somewhere... I guess if they're not mentioned for Corellia they can't die there (we'll ignore them possibly dying elsewhere) It would be nice to check in with Senya, and like you said, maybe discuss the Arcann romance with her, especially as we never got that letter that was datamined a while back. I don't want to leave old romances behind, but I'm kinda thirsty for some new ones. I can't keep romancing Theron, or flirting with Jonas on everyone.  |

I'm getting use out of the golden certificates for the Night Life event this time around.  Shame there's still a Stronghold issue that prevents you from logging into most if not all characters who are at Strongholds. I'm getting use out of the golden certificates for the Night Life event this time around. If it had the fabric that the female version has it wouldn't be so bad. But without the fabric it just looks a bit... weird, and then you have like jabby metal bits stabbing you.  But the glove/boots/belt is very nice, and the booty shorts are spectacular. Theron will surely be rocking them soon. They can be spy boyfriends who make people uncomfortable. |

That's good to know - even aside from the fact that I'm going to resubscribe for the expansion, considering that I don't feel the need to renew my subscription afterwards, I like that there'll be a few quality of life alterations. I've been bothered with the money cap in particular for a while, since while it currently does cover most in-game costs, there are some Legacy-based pickups that I'd like to have that I can't reach without having access to more in-game currency. To say nothing of the medical probes...

It seems so... but the fact they've left it as a generic 'Observers appearing on Odessan' makes it sound like they're appearing for everyone. Which is somewhat concerning if it is who we think it is, because does that mean everyone is going to find Kira and Scourge (if it's them) regardless of class? I know the two are popular but if I have to spend the next few months rolling my eyes at Edgelord Warrior's getting to gloat they killed their former namesake I might pluck my eyes out. I mean maybe they've just left it as ?????? so as to not spoil the surprise. I guess we'll see tomorrow if we get an alert on all classes. (Unless it ends up being like Doc and Nadia on Ossus where you can see/talk to them but they don't join you unless you're a Knight or Consular. It should be interesting. My current Inquisitor wouldn't care about the chair, if anything he's glad to be rid of it as he felt it was a noose around his neck keeping him bound to the Empire during the class story - my new Inquisitor who may end up as a Loyalist depending on 6.0, would definitely raise hell to get it back however.  No worries. -I'm definitely hopeful for the fix for the Ranged companions (and that it won't make something else break.) Having to constantly remember to get close when I'm Force Leaping or something is a pain as I usually go from max distance and that's always too far for companions. Or worse, you'll be in range for first enemy but there's some ranged ones in the back so you go after them and suddenly you're not in range anymore. (At least my stealth melee characters don't usually have this problem regardless of whether their companion is melee/ranged. Now they just need to fix Malgus breaking CC and being about as sturdy as a wet tissue because his heal is related to an attack move. |

ARGH. So anyone who hasn't picked up/done the Microbinocular questline, save yourself trouble and go pick it up. I had to ask someone wtf I was supposed to do and they said you need them. Considering only my Warrior had started the questline I am waaay too lazy to go pick the questline up on everyone else, just had my Knight grab it. Also if the mysterious observers are who we think they are; My Knight is going to kick both their butts for spying on him/Odessan and not making themselves known to him, especially if we have to wait a few more months for them to actually return. It's been over six damn years, probably closer to seven, Scourge, stop being a creeper. Ya'll better have a perfect excuse for these shenanigans. See I wasn't sure if it'd let you use those, I went to NS to grab them from the quest but their little blurb said they were great for picking up the cheats so I wasn't sure if they would work the same as the proper ones for this. Good to know they do. XD Yeah I'm wondering why on earth they're spying and not making themselves known, at least to a Knight. Unless they have concerns and are making sure it's us and not a Vitiate possessing our body 'us.' XD But they really need a proper come back for the Knight, especially if we're kept waiting. Like, my Knight would be furious you've been spying on me for this long and you didn't make yourselves known until now?! I do have to lol that they got rid of their entire camp in the time it takes you to get up an elevator to spy on them again.  Ha. My Knight hasn't flirted with a single person the entire game, I'm sure he'll be fine. |

Annoying we're going to have to wait a few more months after all. Maybe they're testing the character to make sure Vitiate is truly gone from us (i.e we're not Vitiate using our body.)
My Knight is still gonna kick their ass for appearing on Odessan and then buggering off for a few more months. (Or however much time technically passes inbetween the Observers quest and 6.0)
So it seems either attacks you depending on Pub/Imp side - something I saw on Reddit says Kira apparently shows during the Corellia flashpoint Pubside, but Scourge has equal input for Imperial/both. So if other classes can get them I wonder if Kira goes with Republic and Scourge Imperial. Though I still think it'd be dumb after he waited so long for the Knight that he'd just go back to working in the Empire for some random Imperial, with zero care of the Knight's whereabouts. I guess in that case all he cared about was making sure the Emperor was gone, even if the Knight wasn't the one to ultimately get rid of him.
Also Tharan was datamined for the Corellia flashpoint. (I guess they still have no clue how to bring back Zenith.) |
