Thinking I may end up taking my Knight through 6.0 first. Spoiler stuff for 6.0It seems, that we won't be able to speak to them on Mek-Sha after they attack us:
Dialogue from Imperial side.
??: Who in blazes was that? Player: I might have found out if you hadn't gotten in the way! ??: Lord Shaar still in one piece? Shaar?: Ungh... yes. ??: The Force was strong with him... pity he didn't stay to chat. ??: For a Sith to defy Emperor Vowrawn and attack you in the middle of a priority mission... you must have done something truly stirring. Player: This didn't feel like an assassination attempt. Something else is going on....
or
Vowrawn: Ah, old friend--such a pleasure to see you again after so long. I understand someone actually tried to kill you just now? I'm amazed that there's anyone left in the galaxy who would even try. Player: I'm not convinced it was an assassin. It felt more like I was being tested.
Republic side:
??: What in blazes....I saw that lightsaber... Sith trying to take you out already? In the middle of my turf? Player: I don't know, he felt... strange in the Force. Shrouded, somehow. Besides, why wear a mask when his lightsaber is so obvious? It doesn't make sense.
or
Player: The Sith you sent to kill me didn't finish the job. Send someone better next time Shaar: Ah, she must have been so disappointed not to have killed you. But then we wouldn't have had a chance to meet like this. I've sent no assassins, dear. Huttbreaker can attest to the meager size of my delegation. Perhaps it was one of the other Sith lords you've angered over the years?
--
Annoying we're going to have to wait a few more months after all. Maybe they're testing the character to make sure Vitiate is truly gone from us (i.e we're not Vitiate using our body.)
My Knight is still gonna kick their ass for appearing on Odessan and then buggering off for a few more months. (Or however much time technically passes inbetween the Observers quest and 6.0)
So it seems either attacks you depending on Pub/Imp side - something I saw on Reddit says Kira apparently shows during the Corellia flashpoint Pubside, but Scourge has equal input for Imperial/both. So if other classes can get them I wonder if Kira goes with Republic and Scourge Imperial. Though I still think it'd be dumb after he waited so long for the Knight that he'd just go back to working in the Empire for some random Imperial, with zero care of the Knight's whereabouts. I guess in that case all he cared about was making sure the Emperor was gone, even if the Knight wasn't the one to ultimately get rid of him.
Also Tharan was datamined for the Corellia flashpoint. (I guess they still have no clue how to bring back Zenith.) Hmm interestinng stuff Its possible they are pub and imp specific for none knight classes, but then for knight experience with those characters can be both. Perhaps they are a shadow of revan situation too, where you meet kira or scourge first depending on your side, ala theron and lana. Im actually quite curious how scourge behaves with a none knight. Like does his whole vision thing does not happen? Or is he happy this random bounty hunter got the job done. A lot of questions for sure. Since they both failed to see valkorion still lived in some way, I could see why they be hesitant.
Thats good on tharan, maybe zenith is still there just not on that part i guess, perhaps on some of the other planets. The rest from today's cantina was more images and double LONG xp announcement:

I'm just not overly thrilled about them becoming available for other classes and having to see hundreds of people running around with Scourge. (They can do as they will with Kira. XD) I suppose if it happens no matter what, I'll make myself a Juggernaut Eleutarius, a 'what if' of if his mother had never gotten him away from Korriban and he was trained as Sith instead of a Jedi. XD Arn is pretty cute, just realized quite how much of him is cybernetic... dayum. Though given his datamined dialogue for explanation of it, it kinda makes sense how he's still alive whilst being like 98% cyborg. Still be a shame if he's only a temporary companion. Come on Bioware, give everyone that male Jedi romance they've been asking for. Though as he seems Republic only that'd still be a shame unless Imp Saboteurs also get to meet him, but I doubt it. Double Exp is nice though for so long, I can continue playing new characters without having to do every side quest.

The double xp has begun as well as the PTS for 6.0 has begun. Currently through a bug, you can test out a little bit making nautolans.

Been making use of the double exp even if for me it didn't kick in until 7pm Been reading some stuff on the pts, have no desire to try it myself but it's handy. Also the Nautolans look ugly as hell from the customizations I've seen so far. But then, their big eyes have always creeped me out, much like Vector's (and lesser extent Chiss) eyes do because on my screen they just look like black voids. (It triggers my fight or flight response from those bug eyed alien videos I used to watch as a kid.) Maybe they'll look better with different skin colours but like Togruta I can't see myself making one unless the females look less creepy to me. Maybe a different 'head' would look better. I'll see when they go live if that makes them less creepy for me.

Disappointed but not surprised. I really hope they use this extra time well to iron out bugs, I can't deal with another Jedi Under Siege and losing a favoured companion for three months again.

Heavy 6.0 spoiler stuff: Important choice in the Imperial ending: You can formally rejoin the Empire. Emperor/Empress will create a new Emperor's Hand, which would be filled with player and members of his/her alliance. Alliance members will become Imperial citizens. Sith Warrior: regains the title of the Emperor's Wrath Sith Inquisitor: regains his Sith title and holdings. Bounty Hunter: gets named as "Hunter without peer", responsible for the pursuit and destruction of our Empire's deadliest enemies. Imperial Agent: new Keeper.
You can also keep the Alliance. You can rejoin the Republic or keep the Alliance. If you join: Odessen will become a member of the Republic with senate membership. Alliance members will become citizens and their criminal or intelligence records will be cleared. Task Force Nova is created - joint military and civilian effort to help the Jedi rebuild their order. Jedi Consular: becomes a member of the Jedi High Council, Master of Hidden Knowledge. Jedi Knight: becomes a member of the Jedi High Council, still a Battlemaster. Trooper: reinstated in the Republic Army Special Forces Division at the rank of Colonel. Smuggler: "citizen privateer" - separate from the military, but with the effective rank of commodore, and control over all of the task force's civilian and logistical aspects.Nothing was listed about Saboteur's... really hoping we don't get stuck with our faction. All my Pub's will rejoin the Republic except for my smuggler Elis who would be far happier turning the Alliance into a new criminal empire Not sure about my Knight. He is pretty disillusioned with the Republic and Jedi and has been for a long while, he may stick with the Alliance. If my Imperial Saboteurs can't fully switch sides then... idk. :/ I guess they may stick with the Alliance, I couldn't see any of them willingly folding their Alliance into the Empire and having its people made Imperial citizens. I'm just really hoping there's an option for Saboteurs not listed because it'd suck otherwise.

Considering resubbing for a month or so after this comes out to see the new content. Yeah...I've turned into one of THOSE people.

Considering resubbing for a month or so after this comes out to see the new content. Yeah...I've turned into one of THOSE people. Hey, I haven't been a subscriber since Eternal Throne dropped back in December 16, and I've had a 60-day subscription card waiting for this in the name of getting access to the new content, so I'm in no position to judge anyone else.
Now that there is a proper date, I'm just trying to decide when I want to use it, especially now that they've said that so long as you're subscribed during September through October, you'll get the new playable race (and that it's apparently the only subscription bonus, at least that's been announced). I can basically use it at any time, I just have to decide how much bonus time after the release I really want to be a subscriber.

Considering resubbing for a month or so after this comes out to see the new content. Yeah...I've turned into one of THOSE people. no wrong with that, i stopped subbing finally this summer, I did all my class stories for the first time, got them all to 70 more or less, got nice armors grinded with currency so I decided to take a nice break from it all. Ill come back to sub once the expansion is closing in. But yeah gotta do it before that day to make sure you get all the sub rewards like nautolans and stuff. farferellovery interesting I do hope saboteur do get the option for a whole faction switch, otherwise is going to be odd. I understand making it only for the story not changing on the thing but still. Though I suppose an agent becoming keeper while working for the republic is an interesting idea lol. But if they do give us options to keep the alliance like it says there, im happy on that front. I don't know what I would choose with some characters on that front, my jedi knight as always been a good boy supporting the republic, but at the same time, going back to the old jedi ways isn't exactly something that would work for him in a personal way.

Been replaying some class stories... As bad as the lack of bisexual romances are in general, NO WHERE is it as bad as the Smuggler's story. The women throwing themselves at my character is ridiculous, even BEFORE getting to the red light behavior of that Alderaanian noblewoman...
Couldn't they have AT LEAST offered some patching of the incidental romances, if not the actual ones? Ugh...

The women throwing themselves at my character is ridiculous, even BEFORE getting to the red light behavior of that Alderaanian noblewoman... Couldn't they have AT LEAST offered some patching of the incidental romances, if not the actual ones? Ugh... Smuggler (and Agent) were really bad about this. My Knight and Consular could go through the story with barely a flirt in sight, but Smuggler? I know they were going for the Han Solo thing but I don't recall him being as much a walking hormone as they try to portray the Smuggler. Even worse, like the Noblewoman, sometimes the characters act as if you're into them when you never flirted, just because you were being nice. (And we've already discussed the grossness of turning Akaavi down - my last Smuggler I had to take the 'don't be nice, it creeps me out' option with her just because at least then I didn't get the kinda gross, racist remark about not 'being into chicks with horns.' Ugh. Smuggler is a hot mess in a lot of ways - though having replayed Agent a bunch recently, I have the same issue with it, and Kaliyo acting like you're some big heartbreaker but oh, you can't escape her~ just... ugh. Some classes you can at least ignore any and all flirts and the games carries on without the female companion being bitchy about it for the most part - If I've turned down a companion and made it clear I'm not interested, why the fuck are they disapproving flirts I might take elsewhere, it turns them into jealous harpies for no reason. Bioware has a really bad habit of making your character look/sound heartbroken that you're turning down/not taking a flirt. (Looking at you stupid zero g gravity scene.)

*Cackling.* (6.0 flirt spoiler stuff.) There's... there's a Malgus flirt. It mostly seems like you're being sarcastic (like with that whole 'hope you're not waiting for a hug' line) but.. lol. He doesn't seem to react to it but... *snerk* (also apparently Anri, possibly Krovos, Vowrawn, Lana, and Theron flirts though I've only seen the Malgus one. No idea about anything Pubside though.

New ex mando gang on 6.0 will react if you bring shae or torian to them as well as your mando background, so that's nice to hear some class and comp unique stuff in it! Though I imagine not something big but still nice is there.

Though I imagine not something big but still nice is there. Interesting. One of my Hunter's isn't a Mando but he'll have Torian with him, whilst my other Hunter is a Mando (but he'll have Koth instead.) Should be fun to see how they react to them, and how they might then react to non Hunter's. I kinda hope we get more of these little bits sprinkled in for other classes considering they stated there were several different gangs there. Also, if they react to Shae, or Torian, that means we can bring our own companions to that area? do I finally get to explore and do new story stuff with my companion of choice? Though I guess I can't run around that planet on my Knight with a reclaimed Scourge. XD

I guess I should finally dive into this thread, haha. Lord I've been playing this game since the closed beta, but I took a break for a looooong time after finishing KOTFE/KOTET. Lately I've gone back and I've been slowly replaying some storylines in anticipation of 6.0. New ex mando gang on 6.0 will react if you bring shae or torian to them as well as your mando background, so that's nice to hear some class and comp unique stuff in it! Though I imagine not something big but still nice is there. Oh man, this is exciting? I've been a Jedi Knight main for a while, but part of that is because I felt like the content from KOTFE onwards really caters to force users and kinda forgets about the others sometimes. (IMO.) It's nice to see them doing this sort of thing now, and I hope the other classes (Smuggler, Trooper, and Agent) get similar recognition.

Its a little quiet so far till we get the expansion finally over here but yeah im excited and hopeful we get a lot of nice bits here and there of things like that. I will say though, trooper, bh and agent get a fair amount of content on KOTFE thanks to the companions on that regard. Makes some chapters feel less a drag when you get that unique comp for that class. But yeah I think in terms of non force users, smuggler gets the short end of the stick overall, though it does have its own funnier unique dialogue at times. But I hope they get more.
It would be nice if the planet Mek sha is sort of like Richi in shadow of revan, where you get an exclusive class mission. It seems like the right map for it. Seems likely a few classes get something so far, we get scourge and kira soon on this, this mando bit and some leak i saw on consular, maybe other classes has other bits we have yet to see or know hopefully.

Yeah, I get making the main story class-free at this point, since they really can't make eight different stories, but there's still plenty from the class stories that could be followed up in the same way as the class quests in Shadow of Revan.
Granted, I still wish they'd just tied those major story threads together into things instead of FE/ET and the associated - just... I will never be over how I really feel like I start a completely different game every time I take a character to Darth Marr's flagship. All the various story threads that existed throughout the existing game get ignored for this uber special threat from nowhere...
I could like FE/ET if they'd been released as a separate game, but, especially with JUS and Onslaught seeming to snapback to the landscape of things before those two, they really feel so disconnected from the rest of the game.

Yeah, that small touch for the class stories in SoR really helped. They just dropped all pretense with FE/ET though. I could mostly deal with every toon playing through exactly the same story over and over over if our comps weren't such lifeless bricks. I realize calling all the VA back for even just the romanceable characters for new linse is a huge undertaking, but I am SO sick of them being nothing now.
I enjoyed the heck out of the class stories. More content like that would bring me back, so quick.

There's definitely a weird disconnect between vanilla story/expansions leading to KOTFE/ET and then KOTFE/ET itself. It's not so bad if you play a class that was lucky to get a companion back during it (or more if you're lucky like the Agent) but the sheer lack of any mention of class stuff as a whole was certainly disappointing and now being thrown back into the Republic/Empire conflict after you've had your own Alliance for near 7 years at this point is just... kinda dumb. Why would some characters even still care about the conflict/their old faction. It's like they're just throwing away everything that happened during it to push us back into a faction conflict just for the sake of it, especially with the events of Iokath/Jedi Under Siege playing out as they do, and the whole traitor arc was just a dumb way to fully rid us of any power our character had so they'd be forced to go back and be a lackey for their faction because they can't stay neutral/as a third party anymore. Even the decision made with JUS still feels kept low key, especially if you run saboteur - you're forced to work with a faction you might hate because you can 'do more damage from the inside' whilst still being forced to murder people from the faction you've now allied yourself with.
