You will be able to play "DLC" (they are expansions tbh) if you subscribe, but only as long as you're a sub I think. You can romance Theron Shan and Koth as a male character. Both only aviable after lvl55+, you can start flirting with Shan during alliances storyline (transferring it to kotfe-kotet or starting there from the scratch if you skip it) and with Koth in KOTFE/KOTET. Also I may be wrong (left the game month after kotet was released), but generally romance content in kotfe/kotet wasn't great. You don't get long personal talks with companions in there and all base game companions who have them are hetero. And there is a Sith on Imperial Makeb for male characters only, but he's a fling. One kiss and then you never meet again. Pretty accurate here. Romance content for Theron/Koth/Lana isn't quite on the same levels as the vanilla romances (and even less so if you romance Koth ) and you do have to wait a long time to get to them if you plan to do all the content rather than skip right to it. It's a shame honestly, but it's well worth slogging through everything to finally be able to romance Koth or Theron (or Lana if that's your thing) though with Koth the romance does hinge somewhat on... making, or not making certain decisions during KOTFE. In a similar way, getting the kiss/fling on Makeb Imperial side, requires you to play your Empire character a certain way (at least, on one decision involving the fling.) It's a fun game but if you only want to play the romances, the slog to get there might no be worth it. Yup. And it's sad. Also I think if you create character with an advanced token (lvl 65), you will miss out Theron's romance completely unless you re-play all the KOTFE anyway. It was the thing that totally killed all my will to return and start playing again. KOTFE/KOTET are so boring, provide so little RP options (especially for true neutrals) and the end is so bleh... Ugh.

I think if you use the 60 token you can at least start the romance with Theron or Koth but it does still auto select your decisions. But yes the rp options are somewhat limited, mostly I just hated the server white light v's dark thing. My Knight was my one character who was mixed when it came to alignment but ended up max light because everything gave light points (and it didn't feel right earning dark ones through a toggle.)

Well, you'd never be able to recreate that on Manaan. The place is small and only has four expansions. Only rooms are about half the size of that room. Sigh. I like my Manaan SH but it isn't amazing. Yeah I saw how lacking the Manaan stronghold was. Quite disappointing for those who really wanted it. :/ It's a shame, the place has a nice view but from what I've seen, the decorating hooks and rooms are rather terrible. I hate having huge spaces, sometimes smaller rooms to make a bedroom and such is nice, but from what I've seen, Manaan doesn't have that. You'll have to see my Manaan stronghold on Ebon Hawk then. I have a bedroom, and I find it quite cozy now. The theme is Alliance Embassy and Vacation Retreat together in one. I have tons of luxury decos everywhere and some great hook layout configurations with statues out in the water with some tweaking. For instance, the Ancient Threat trophy deco surrounded by four Rakata Guard statues holding in that evil energy in the depths. My Rooftop garden area has Make pergolas and Yavin Tree Plots, while the inside has Star Cluster casino party decos and holo-trees, plus lounge seating. My underwater rooms have my utilities, bedroom, and aquarium among the three rooms down there. It works well enough for me, and I have it listed to the Public. Getting great feedback about it honestly.

I don't regret not buying it, the outsite and the garden bit is kinda nice but I find the rest kinda meh. I have two strongholds and it's a pain enough to try and decorate them fully because getting hold of nice deco's is such a pain. I only have about three rooms in each of my places fully decorated. Though the fact a lot of nice Zakuul ones came out in packs a long time ago doesn't help as it makes them so expensive now. I can only hope they'll release a Zakuul themed decoration pack like they did with Manaan when it's finally released.

Umbara is though! dulfy.net/2017/07/21/swtor-patch-5-4-content-roadmap/Honestly, that feels so random. There is going to be a customization train track too? Really unique. I loved the Umbara arc in the Clone Wars.

A train you have to run a flashpoint for 'a few times' before it unlocks. Well I'm disappointed. How on earth can you nicely customize a train, I mean... why. Can't say I'm looking forward to slave girl Senya to go with slave girl Lana.

Nobody wants to see Grandma Valkorion in a bikini. LOL As for the SH, I'm curious how it'll look. It comes next month, so...spoilers should be coming soon. I bet it can't hold many people like Manaan (30). I wanted to host an event at my SH, but I can't because our events usually have at least 40 people at them. It is so annoying that DK can have more people than Manaan. My SH is glorious honestly. Maybe you can put a bunch of statues and environment decos along the rail ways of the train? Spam small and medium narrow hooks everywhere!!!!!!!! That's all Bioware does now. Oh, and centerpiece and starship hooks so far out of the way, don't ever think you'll get to them.

Well I'm sure she'd have a youthful body the same as all the other women in the game I've only changed Koth on the character romancing him, did change Theron on a few as he did need to get out of that jacket, but it still feels a bit weird seeing them in different clothes in cutscenes. I'll keep Senya as she is, I like how her and Arcann look. But yeah, I guess we'll see how it looks, but as a train I can't think of anything but long rectangular rooms. I know some people want really big strongholds and I wouldn't have minded something like that for Zakuul, but I also kinda want something small like Kaliyo's apartment in Chapter 10. A nice bedroom area, maybe a living room and another little room and that'd be perfect for my main. But no we get... a train. Maybe it'll look better than it sounds. Though I doubt a train will have a starship hook, at least, not on it. XD They dropped the ball with Manaan though, I know a lot were upset that you could only invite a small amount of people to it. I already maxed out decorating my Coruscant's hooks, kinda regretting opening up so many rooms as some are now empty.

I'm just about ready to give up on KOTOR. Is the game supposed to be so difficult? I've been stuck on the same battle for what feels like hours. I've had to resort to using guides (as much as I didn't want to) and even that hasn't helped. It makes me a bit sad that I can't really get into it because I wanted to like it and I was really enjoying getting back into the Star Wars franchise. I probably won't quit (yet), but it really frustrating.

Addendum: I think I'm starting to get into the groove. I found myself thinking about the game and wanting to get back to it for the first time since I started!
I think it's because my mind has been on a certain game Technomancer so I haven't been able to focus entirely on it.
I hope it doesn't stay so difficult the entire time!

Andrew MancerYeah, first playthrough of KotOR can be rough, especially when you're not sure about how to build your character. Going soldier/knight going mostly str/con is probably the simplest way to build your character, but then you miss out on skills, powers and persuasion. My personal favorite is to go scoundrel consular with 16 char, 14 strength and wis at the beginning. Scoundrel gives you sneak attack, which makes you deal bonus damage to disabled enemies, and it goes great with dual wield and flurry because it applies to every attack. And consular gives you more powers and makes it harder to resist them.

Specially since Im terrible at the combat but the story and characters grew on me well and managed to finish it. I started a sith assasin Cyborg on Old Republic cuz a friend wanted to start a sith story again and I hear is the best one. I have to say so far it definitely has a much better start than the jedi I started with. I feel bad though, cuz some of these responses are accurate me and now Im like, am I really that sith in life? Lol. My sith: photo hosting site
I wanted to play as a Chiss but I need subcription. I might buy it eventually when I see I have time to play this more.

But yes, Sith Agent story is pretty fun, even if they feel kinda out of place later in KotFE and KotET (and female agent is pretty much femHawke, voiced by the same person and all )

I still havent finished an old republic story yet haha. I think its nice though that you can really be a bad guy from the start and not just have the option to do bad things gradually that will turn you bad like a traditional bioware game. Now I just wish the game would stop crashing on me so often on my jedi path one.

I didn't realise there was a SWTOR thread... I'm dumb and can't find things because I don't look properly. Anyway I've been playing for about 5 years and have around 26 toons on The Red Eclipse (my main server) and 17 on The Progenitor. I normally play completely solo on The Progenitor when I'm not subbing but want to play through a class story and I'm obviously addicted to creating alts. I don't have a lot of pics right now because I'm on my new PC so I'll just grab some from my tumblr and spoil it for size. Anyway I have loads more that I wouldn't mind showing off but I gotta get off my arse and make screens for them all

Guides on different builds, combat tricks, etc. I usually play as scout turned to sentinel as I really like using skills. www.gamefaqs.com/xbox/556553-star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic/faqs

I accidentally discovered you could go shirtless when I was browsing costumes. Im tempted to do that next time for a bit when I load haha. Can you make shirtless be like a costume so you would still have clothes gear but not wear them physically?

Thanks Your guys look great and all these posts are giving me ideas for new toons lol. As for the shirtless guy, for every slot that you want empty and want to hide you need a piece of Covert Energy Armour in the appropriate outfit designer slot. They're pretty expensive on the GTN but once you get the whole set and unlock it for all your characters, it's great to have bare hands, torso, wrists, waists and feet whenever you want. There isn't a piece for legs because then you're just in your underwear but you can buy that too, I think it's called Men's Basic Trunks.

Updated my Jedi's clothes and my sith one as well, Im pretty happy with them overall, capes and coats are so my thing: My sith:
