No End ComicJust discovered this and binge read it in one go! Loving everything about it, from the art style to how well fleshed out are the characters. And no common comic tropes I hate so yay! So far no nsfw content so feel free to check it out wherever you are. Cheers! Thanks for the recommendation. Just read the entire thing in one go. It's a really good comic, but now I'm sad I have to wait for the next one.

Not comics, but whatever... I've read the entire Until death do us part (manga about a girl who can predict her near future). I'm about to read some manhwa and manhua. Just added: - Spirit Blade Mountain - Quan Zhi Gao Shou - What Does The Fox Say? - Gepetto - S. I. D. - Heavenly Match - Tower of God - Ecstasy Hearts to my list

Read volume one of Insexts recently, Victorian body horror with lesbians. Really enjoyed it, in the beginning the Victorian syntax is a bit rocky but Marguerite Bennett gets a better grip on it as it goes on. I'd recommend it.

Started and finished Tamen De Gushi during one incredibly dull meeting.
It's a manga about 2 girls falling in love and it is so adorable and relatable. It is based in a chinese high school and it looks like there will be other gay characters too.
It is still ongoing, so I just have to wait for more. *le sigh* I really enjoyed it so waiting is going to be hard.

Soo. I found a few things you may like. Digger, by Ursula Vernon (It's concluded which I like very much.) Digger ..its a story about a wombat and a dead god. Its pretty interesting, she meets Ed, a male hyena who got kicked out of his tribe- and as hyenas are matriarch he got bullied a lot and became Diggers friend.. I like her, she's a pragmatic character and I cant remember reading a story about wombats, a dead god, a talking ganesha statue and mean hyenas. You can buy her stuff but you can also read it online. Oh and It won the Hugo award for best graphic story 2012. Its really cool. I like it very much. Digger, by Ursula vernon
Then there is Melanie Gillman's "as the crow flies" As the Crow flies, by M. GillmanIt's about charlie, a 13 year old kid who participates on a rustic church-retreat, a trekking tour up a mountain, to commune with god and follow the footsteps of the woman who was the first to establish that.. But Charlie is a person of color and queer and so they have to deal with a lot of shit, their identity, the whitewashing of history, cissexism and well, just feeling and being different than "the norm" They develop a friendship with Sydney, another Kid, over their shared differences. It's a beautiful comic, fully drawn with color crayons. It's absolutely stunning work and it just feels true, like you can tell they have lived through such situations.. .. If you want to support Melanie, you can do it still on Kickstarter or on their patreon, the links are also on their homepage. They also have a tumblr where they post small comics and information: Gillmans tumblr, pigeonbitsAnd so if you like you can preorder it on Amazon, it will come out on 07. November 2017. Reading about all those amazing gay superheroes out there makes me wish I could get into comics and read all about them....but there are so many different worlds/universes/realities that it is so confusing and I wouldn't know where to start! The closest I've gotten is owning the first appearance issue of Kevin Keller in the Archie books autographed by the author...but I haven't collected anything past that. Maybe someday?

firmicute thanks for the recommendations. I'll add them to my list of stuff to check out. Comics can be hard to get into if you want to know everything BUT most writers runs tend to be self contained with a few references to previous stories, so in the beginning the main think you'll be missing is some background on characters that might appear. If you want to get into comics, my recommendation would be to pick up a series with characters you are interested in or that has a theme or idea you think might be cool and get stuck into that. I'd also recommend starting with somthing that is over, so there are a finite number issues to read through and you get a nice ending. Long running comics like Detective Comics can be hard to get to grips with if you don't already know the characters. Something like Cleanroom, which is full of body horror and written by one of the greatest writers in comics at the moment Gail Simone, Sunstone which is a romance BDSM story and is available on deviantart, as is Blood Stain which is slice of life comic with a mad scientist and his assistants. What type of stories, themes or characters are you normally interested in and I can make some recommendations?

Gotham Central, Book One: In the Line of Duty (didn`t actually read this one, so I`m not sure. Rumours rumours) Very nice list of titles, some great ones there, but I picked out this one to highlight. Gotham Central is one of the best comics ever written and IMO the best batman comic. It shows the consequences that Batman existing has for the Gotham PD. Small spoiler below It´s first major arch is a brilliant race against time. Mr Freeze kills 2 cops and the GCPD needs to find him before nightfall because they know Batman will take over then and they are desperate to be able to solve the case instead of Batman.
There is a major theme of Batman making the GCPD feel useless, which leads to many of them giving up. This comic also stars Renee Montoya,(one of the DC´s most famous gay characters) in what I believe is her first comic appearance after she was created for Batman: The Animated Series and has Maggie Sawyer (another major gay character) as a secondary character. I can't recommend Gotham Central enough, if you haven't read it, pick it up, you wont regret it.

DC Bombshells is ending
This is a great comic and super gay. It is set in an alternate universe were it was the female characters of DC who protected people during World War 2. It's written by Marguerite Bennett, who also writes Insexts and has so many fan favourite pairings.
If you are looking for somthing different and super gay, I'd recommend you get stuck into it.

If there was a comic book store in town I'd probably lurk there if they'd let me. Lots of interesting stuff comes out, but I never buy anything. sigh...
