I just got the prayer romance scene...my heart...  His romance specific scenes have been really good, probably some of the best in the series. I could really see the love between the two, the strong relationship they have built. This is something lacking in other romances I've seen/tried out. Unfortunately...the open world aspect of the game really hurts the romance and pacing for me. I went through forty hours without any content from him...and then there's going to be even more of a gap after doing DLC. There's just too much of a wait between proper Cullen content. It probably flows much better if you only do the main quests and skip everything else. I probably would've enjoyed it much more that way...and if he had just been bisexual as originally intended. Despite the (game's) flaws, I am really looking forward to seeing how it ends and what Trespasser will bring for our relationship.  |

That ending!!! That was so very sweet. My heart was racing the entire time. I love, love, love Cullen! I can definitely see why his romance is so popular. That is what I want. I can't believe they gave us Dorian and Iron Bull instead...those weren't romantic at all. He's everything I've wanted in a gay romance in this series...and it hurts knowing we almost had that. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it is developed further in Tresspasser. |

I'm still sad Cullen's not an option. It stings more lately then it used to. I think all the MEA drama is seriously making me go back and getting new found salt over how shitty our options usually are. Love Iron Bull mind you, but even he got shit content in Trespasser. While Cullen got good content.  |

It's a lovely romance where you can feel the love. Cullen showing worry about Quizzy, especially in that scene, if amazing. And hugs are amazing. I wish Suvi had some (it's mandatory that I compare Cullen's romance to hers, sorry  ). I went 2 weekes (lol I typed weekes, I'm leaving it) of real life time, playing every day, between Suvi scenes in my playthrough. At least with Cullen he'd have romantic greetings if you talked to him and a repeatable kiss that made the romance feel like it was continuous. It's very sad that he wasn't a bi option. The Gays™ need a romance like his! A Knight In Shining Armour. A charming, slightly awkward person with a great voice. A romance with actual romance in it. A fluffy, sweet relationship with a happy ending? And honestly, I've been dying for this character type for an f/f option as well. We haven't had any KISAs of either gender who aren't straight and therefore m/m or f/f options. It makes me very frustrated that this kind of romance is apparently straight-coded to Bioware writers. Like other orientations couldn't like that kind of romance? Come on...Ha, look at us both. Doing a (great) straight romance because we just couldn't get the same thing out of our own options. Oh, you should have seen me when I played through Trespasser... Sorry your options didn't get that sort of content (no spoilers from me!), though, like I said above    And that's the funny thing about being disappointed in something, particularly games or movies. You start to see, and sometimes look for, other flaws. ME3 is the codifier for this for me. Because of the ending, I and the internet analyzed the crap out of it, and noticed many things I probably would have looked over otherwise. Some good, some bad. Sometimes it affects other things retroactively like it's doing for you. It's a shame. If just a few of ME:A's major problems hadn't existed (primarily romance situation), just imagine how much more enjoyable it would have been, not just because the problems wouldn't exist, but because you'd enjoy the game enough that other problems would be overlooked. Ignorance is bliss, and all that. Hope that made sense. Should be sleeping! |

The thing is though I have to romance Iron Bull before I can even think about Cullen yet. I already romanced him 3 times though, so I guess that's fine anyway. |

CULLEN IS THE BEST BIOWARE HUSBAND EVER!!! We tied the knot and adopted a cute mabari together and he is just the sweetest!!!  I loved that Sera made a cute note about that and it was pretty hilarious talking to Cassandra after getting married. I was surprised that most of the romance content was voiced, unlike the main game. It's so easy to see how much the two care for each other...true love. I don't think I have really seen it shine through so well in any other Dragon Age romance. I'd honestly rank my love for the Cullen romance as highly as my love for the Kaidan romance IF he had been bisexual as intended and in a better game. As it is...our love never being canon in BioWare's world and having to use a mod prevents it from reaching that level, as with the Alistair romance. |

I really wish Cullen was a choice, I would have so much more replayablity from the game . And its very unlikely he would pop in on a sequel and be m/m romance added too. At least with Kaidan it was a long fought battle that eventually happened. Granted Inquisition has two romances with Iron Bull, but he's just not my thing tbh. DA4 better have someone similar to Cullen as m/m at least, I'll be down with a new character if thats the case. |

Same with Anders, to an extent although DA2 fixed some of that. Davrin's boobs is right about m/m options tending to be dark skinned (or purple in IB's case haha), while the pale, knighly "pretty boys" are the straight options. Inquisition and Andromeda didn't offer that type of guy for gay men, and those types are typically depicted as straight. It would just be nice if for once, we could have the Cullen/Alistair type romance exclusively for us. I mean...sure this all comes down to preference in the end and I will happily romance a gay KISA as long as he is human like Davrin's boobs said. |

It would be great for once having a stererotypical Disney Prince for us, if he looks like Prince Eric the better for me Yeah, but he isn't the type of blonde I'm looking for.
