Soooo...do we think that Uncharted-like Star Wars game that is in development will have a gender selection for protagonist? I hope so (I'm all for diversity and equality) but they will probably make it like Tomb Raider or Uncharted because it will make more ''sense'' for them.. There is such a rare thing to have an option to choose our gender in action/tpp games

Soooo...do we think that Uncharted-like Star Wars game that is in development will have a gender selection for protagonist? I hope so, but I doubt it. Only Star Wars game I heard of coming out in the future (that isn't Battlefront) already had confirmed male protag, but maybe that was a different one? But Star Wars specifically is having more women these days, so, maybe?Soooo...do we think that Uncharted-like Star Wars game that is in development will have a gender selection for protagonist? But I always think back to Halo: Reach, which was the first time I've seen gender-selection in an FPS. Now there's Prey. I hope for more in the future.

So...Ahsoka and Thrawn books. I wonder where Filoni and his crew take both of their characters in Rebels season 4. Both books happen short time before Rebels begin. Also wonder whether any characters from them return in other media, like Kaeden and her sister from Ahsoka or Lieuntant Commader Eli Vanto, diplomatic attache to Chiss Ascendancy. Heck, any other Chiss could return since movies are being made again and Ascendancy is now fully canon

When more peeps see last jedi let us discuss. All in spoiler tags of course. I shall start. MASSIVE SPOILERS So Luke died, that was crazy. I was expecting Leia to go. My heart strings got tugged when Yoda showed up, man got some strong Empire Strikes Back vibes. Rey is going to be a monster. Kylo pretty well made up his mind but killing Snoke was awesome. That light speed jump into the main ship had the whole audience silet, sooo crazy. I gotta let it digest but damn that movie was AWESOME.

I enjoyed it a lot, although I thought they overdid the quips at dramatic moments. Laura Dern's suicide lightspeed jump has to be one of the coolest moments in any Star Wars film. Jaw-dropping.
Kylo killing Snoke was another great moment, although it was clear that he was going to seize control of the First Order, not turn to the light. Don't know what you mean about Rey being a monster, though?
Did anyone else notice that it clearly wasn't the real Luke who turned up at the end before the twist was revealed? In hindsight it was obviously a projection of the Luke who almost killed Kylo as opposed to the current version. I didn't realise that he was projecting himself from so far away (or that such a thing was possible) but I knew that something was up. The beard was too dark.
Spontaneous applause from the audience in the screening I was in when the tribute to Carrie Fisher came up at the end.

Spontaneous applause from the audience in the screening I was in when the tribute to Carrie Fisher came up at the end. When I say monster I mean like shes going to be a beast when using the force, like really powerful. Slang terms don't always translate haha. I was kinda torn on if Kylo was going to go light or try and seize power, it would have been too early if he went light after Snoke died though. I lost it with the lightspeed suicide charge, how everything was silent as the realization of what just happened occured. I honestly didn't think about Luke being a projection although his hairstyle was pretty noticeable.
Also oh my god I love how the force was described in this movie. It almost felt like a religious experience for me, like I became a convert.

I still really liked the movie but yea all valid points in the video. Not all valid at all IMO. I wasn't taking notes but here are a few things:
I loved that Luke is essentially a broken man. The fact that it was so hard to track him down is because he didn't want to be found but wanted to leave the door open. It's just supposition that he would definitely be ready to go and help if someone tracked him down. The fact that he's flawed is good, not bad in my eyes.
Loved that Snoke got built up and tossed aside.
Especially loved that Rey doesn't have a stupid bloodline. That was a massive positive for me.
Enjoyed Finn and Rose's subplot. The whole point of that place is that it's where the rich elite went, so it was supposed to be slicker than some other places. I also enjoyed that they failed. Liked Benicio del Toro's morally ambivalent character.
Really enjoyed how Luke died.
Rey saw where the animals were exiting from the air. That's how she found the rocks.
They seem to have almost entirely missed the main point of the movie which was that the new generation needs to take over from the old and forge its own path.
What I will agree on is that the chase setup was very flawed, and that the admiral should at least have let them know the plan at the point of mutiny.

To quote Obi-Wan "From a certain point of view " I didn't agree with most of the points but they are valid criticisms.

my face when the audience clapped after tlj went to credits I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't amazing. Not... like, clap-worthy. The plot threads half the time amounted to nothing and new characters were practically shoehorned in when we barely got anything about the existing characters to begin with. Thankfully, Kylo got some backstory explained, and we got some amount of closure with Luke, but what's with Snoke? Why's he doing what he's doing? How did he get to power? How did he manage to "turn Kylo's heart" ? Why did Kylo want to leave it all behind with Rey only to decide to reclaim Snoke's place like a minute later? What character development did Rey get from her time with Luke? Why did Luke decide on a whim to get mad at Rey for being tempted by darkness when she knows fuck-all about force shit in the first place because he hadn't taught her that shit yet? How is Chewie dealing with Han's death from the first movie? What's Phasma been doing this whole time between movie 1 and 2? What is Hux doing about Kylo's actions in the last 1/4 of the movie? They don't even need to answer all these questions, just like... two... please...
I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but come on. At least it was enjoyable, though, which is a lot than I can say about some superhero films.

That's got to be like the biggest missed opportunity ever. Holding onto hope that he's messing with everyone like Luke did.
