Even though the battle was awesome with a lot of awesome characters having great moments the episode as whole was a big let down to me  The show has thrown to the trash a lot of build ups through the seasons about prophecies, dreams and premonitions, the Iron Throne being covered in ice and snow and King's landing being destroyed? YOLO the NK is dead, Cersei is the big bad! lol How the fuck not???? The true enemy are the dead! The only war that matters is the Great War! Eight fucking years ... for nothing, I wanted to see Cersei's scared face seeing the dead damnit... Disappointed. And Melisandre's death only confirms that this is over for good. I love Arya and I loved her ultimate kill scene but she does not fit the Azor Ahai prophecy unless they stretch it, it makes no sense but I guess that's another prophecy that it doesn't matter anymore. Better than seeing Jon killing him though, that is true. I didnt like Sansa didn't even kill a single undead, the scene with Arya giving her the dagger was awesome, then she only hid, meh. Where the fuck is Ghost? And Nymeria's pack??? MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I've been dreaming for this years... Not everything is bad. Loved seeing Dany killing dead with a sword next to Jorah. Sad about his death  Theon's redemption, Lyanna the giant slayer just epic. Sadly, this episode killed the last of drop of hype I had... One of the worst anticlimax storylines I have ever seen in my life. |

Mary Sue arguments are rarely ever good arguments. Especially when if a male character does similar things it is... normal. So ignore those people. That said the white walkers were really not worth 8 seasons of build up.
As much as part of me still enjoys GoT, it’s really been a different show since Jon came back from the dead with little to no consequence. The stakes are just not there and there are times it feels more like LoTR than ASoIaF. But I watch it for an excuse to munch on greasy food with friends and that’s... okay.

I just caught up after getting back from my holidays.
Loved Arya killing the Night King, and there were some great moments in the episode. What I'm disappointed about is that not a single Lannister, Stark or Targaryen died. Sure, some loveable supporting characters bought it in moving ways, but I was expecting at least one death among the major power-players of the living.

8x04 Love you Dany but WHY DID YOU NOT LISTEN TO SANSA!  I'm SO FUCKING TIRED how the show tries to fucking force down my throat Jon as the better option, like all the women are fighting for the power like they were crazy hags and then you have this ma nry sue perfect male character like NO. Dany only has Grey Worm now, she lost EVERYTHING, she's no rightful heir to the throne, she lost Jorah, her second child and now her best friend sister and now she is going mad queen, burn that place and that bitch to the ground, like part of me is like NOOOO dont become in what you are against and the other part of me is like: ![]()  Poor Missandei, I hate there is only one poc character left (pretty much like Yara is the only lgbtq one). Dracarys that bitch sis!!! What about that that talk about Jon riding a dragon because no man has done that before right? no, because Dany is no man, she did that before, all what she's done is worthless now, very meaningful how patriarchy sucks. I know this is gonna be bloody and she is gonna end up dead because fuck happy endings but I hope she returns to essos, westeros is not worth it, the north would be a living cemetery if it were not for her, fuck em. New episode Honestly, I fucking hated this episode lmao. I was alright with episode 3 and was willing to be fine with the night king being done with then due to time constraints if the rest of the season was good, but this was just shitty, lazy writing. Rhaegal's death was bullshit and made no sense, how would Dany/dragons not see the fleet from miles and miles away from way up there - why did they bring the dragons near the sea knowing that the fleet is the only genuine advantage Cersei has - and why does the stupid Iron Fleet surprise attack work like 47 times in a row and every time every character is like ~ThErE's nO WaY wE CoUlD hAvE sEeN tHiS cOmInG oH nOEeEeEs~ lol. It's like, they HAVE to write Dany and all her advisors as completely rock stupid and making all the worst decisions possible in a vain attempt to make it seem like Cersei is any kind of threat, even though we all know she isn't actually. And it seems like they're going for "Dany is mad king 2.0 at the last minute lol" which is just cheap after 7 seasons of evolving her character, just throw all of it in the trash, that makes sense. |

I don't totally understand why Sansa is so antagonistic towards Dany. Okay, yeah, she's an outsider, and Sansa wants the north to have its own king or whatever, but Dany keeps defending the north anyway. Cut her a little slack Sansa, Jon is too slow to rule on his own. lol Does anyone believe that Jon could be a capable leader? He's a good fighter, and a good person, but he's not at all politically minded. I mean... he screamed at an ice dragon lmao. |

They didn't have a good reason for Dany not to avoid the fleet, so they just did it anyways and made up a bullshit excuse about her not being able to see them.

I absolutely enjoyed all of the first three episodes and absolutely hate S8E4. I'v never ever watched any episode in the prior seasons and found it trash to this level. (Like, I even enjoyed S7 for the most part and lots of people seem to hate that one.) Can't stop being salty about how they handled Ghost.
