Now that AHS is really becoming Coven season 2...I'm digging it a lot. Misty Day and Stevie Nicks! Was it Christmas already? This season is everything I wanted and more
Michael doing the 7 Wonders like it ain't shit aha, bringing back Misty Day, in your face Cordelia, oh you beautiful bastard
I really wish the Coven and Michael could co-exist, he is fantastic, really enjoying each scene he's been in. And another Stevie Nicks private concert, fuck yes I could get used to this. And the gang are off to the Murder House this week aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!

I'm quite curious to see if the lady they kept showing on the stairs is a return of the Lange.

It's my favorite month of the year! Time for spooky movies all day, every day. I've been working my ass off, so I haven't had very many days off, but I'm smack dab in the middle of a three day 'weekend' right now and have been binging horror movies. So far: F13 pt 1, F13 pt 2, F13 pt 3, Return of the Living Dead, Scream 2, Scream 4, and H20. On that note, who else is ready to see Laurie Strode kick some ass in a few days? My body is ready for that! Also glad to see AHS fans in the thread. I was not at all feeling this season until my one true love (Myrtle Snow) showed up in all of her Balenciaga glory. My thoughts: I HATE the actor playing Michael Langdon. In addition to be a piece of shit actor, he's also not even remotely hot. Boo.
The fact that all of the witches from Coven are back is a mixed blessing. On the one hand, I NEEDED Queenie and Misty in my life. On the other hand, it kind of takes away the stakes if they can just be resurrected again. Also, where the fuck is Nan?!? Why can't they get HER back?
The warlock Coven is giving me life. That is a gay as fuck coven and I love every second of it. Billy Porter? BD Wong? Cheyenne Jackson? Give me, give me!
I so desperately want to love Billie Lourd because of who she is in real life. But she is a really wooden actress. She's been a bit better in this one, though, so I'm ready to see if Mallory is going to the "final girl" of this season. I'm hoping.
Did anyone else literally LOL a the idea of Leslie Grossman being young enough to be enrolled in Cordelia's school by her father? She is 47 years old. She looks great, but really......?
Kathy Bates' Big Boo make over is making feel things that I wasn't expecting. I love a hard butch. Especially a hard butch who glams up everyone once in a while.
And, finally, I am shallow enough to admit that I am most excited about Murder House showing up because I desperately hope that the ghost of Dylan McDermott is in there, naked, jerking off in front of the window, and crying. That scene was what locked me into this series for life (despite the dumpster fires that were Freak Show and Cult).

Ah yes. Cult...the only season I wasn't able to watch cause it annoyed and/or triggered me so often I wanted to barf all the time. I do want to read a summary of the rest of the season at some point maybe...but I can't imagine I'll ever watch it.

I mean, it’s worth reading a synopsis because he’ll make references to it in future seasons but it was a total snooze fest. It BARELY constituted horror. I stopped watching Freak Show mid-season and never revisited it. Also just a snynopsis. Other than that, I really enjoyed all of the seasons. I actually really liked Roanoke (I think I might be the only one). And, while I disliked Hotel during the season, in retrospect, it wasn’t that bad. I maintain that Murder House, Asylum, and Coven are the top three. In that order.

Lady Gaga was so epic there. I really hope she does another season eventually.

Well, I finally started my Nightmare On Elm Street viewing. The first movie is probably the weakest for me even though my sister still says it's the only good one sometimes. It started off well enough-but there are times when things just fall apart. Like Johnny Depp's death scene...WTF even is that? Also, the ending is just so bad that it still doesn't make sense no matter how many theories I read by crazy fans. Still, though, it did introduce Nancy-so there is that at least. Heather Langenkamp is amazing in all 3 of her Freddy films.
I'm already looking forward to 3, 4, and 5. Though I will enjoy 2 more than one, it still feels a bit like the ball is rolling uphill in some ways. Still...all that gay!

Oh, I forgot to mention I saw the newest epi of AHS. It was another great one. I'm really pleased with how well they did the Murder House episode. The fact that they mentioned the crying/wank while looking through the window was pretty epic. Sadly though we didn't get to see his ass again! what a wasted opportunity. I was happy that the whole cast was there. Especially glad to see Jessica Lange again.

I just finished the 4th episode of Haunting of Hill House. God damn this show is awesome.
Theo is one of my favorite characters on television. Gorgeous, brilliant, and gay!
I can’t wait to see where this goes!

I want to see AHS: Apocalypse. It's not yet available on Amazon (except pay-per-episode) but I haven't checked out Hulu yet.
@daveliam: Yes, great series. Watching episode three right now but have to take a shower and leave as soon as its over.

It started great but the ending was real dumb, no-one does bat-shit crazy like Kathy Bates, the highlight of that season. Cult wasn’t worth it. Lady Gaga was also great as the original supreme in Roanake
Just caught up with the new episode, I need to find a Bible and some holy water, maybe go to Church, fucksake!
I really loved Madison and Behold teaming up, they need a spin-off show aha. Happy to see Moira get a happy ending and Madison and Behold helping other souls find some happiness in that eternal prison. 36 dead in that house, goddamn. Seeing Jessica Lange return although briefly makes me miss her terribly in the other seasons. She has such a presence in every scene she's in. Nothing you could do Constance when it came to Michael, that boy ain't right, just pure evil and he broke her, even Tate wanted nothing to do with him. Another gay couple bites the dust, they didn't even get a chance to re-decorate, bit harsh there Michael cremating their souls too jeez talk about overkill! Anyone else spot the Omen reference when the Satanists were slicing up that poor girl? I see you, I noticed. Don't know how the gang are gonna stop Michael, he's crazy powerful, seen others speculate that Mallory is perhaps an angel of some sort given that Michael was genuinely taken aback when she unleashed on him a few episodes ago. Would fit given the biblical themes going on, fallen angel versus high angel. This season is fast becoming my favourite.

I forgot to mention this week's episode of AHS Apocalypse. It was pretty good, but the highlight was yet another returning character cameo by the great and amazing Nan! I wish they could have given her even more air time!

Just finished The Haunting of Hill House last night. No lie one of the best TV series I've watched in years, I'm recommending it to anyone who'll listen. A well written family drama, an atmospheric psychological horror that will stay with you long after you watch it. Episode 5 and 6 are the best episodes of the show imo, had to break up my viewing in bursts, it's quiet draining, hit close to home at times. Nell's story is heartbreaking, that flashback to when she went missing as a little kid, "I was screaming, I was here the whole time and nobody could hear me, nobody could see me." I'm not crying, you're crying! This chap sums up alot of my thoughts about the series, warning it's full of spoilers so watch the show first.

Another Halloween has come and gone, gonna continue to watch some horror though. I'm still mourning the fact that I've finished The Haunting of Hill House, it was so good! Got me interested into looking at more of Mike Flanagan's work, saw Oculus when it came out a few years back, enjoyed it. Hush is on Netflix, will check that out, already seen Gerald's Game, excellent adaptation of Stephen King's book. Watched Quija: Origin of Evil the other night, it was okay, enjoyed the first half of the movie but the 2nd half was pretty weak, probably would have creeped me out if I was 13. Also noticed that Mike uses alot of the same actors for his movies, fun. Also this is just a fun video that I should have posted during the season, derp.

I just watched the season finale of AHS: Apocalypse. I'm so sad that it's over already. 10 episodes seems too few! Anywho...without spoilers I gotta say despite the first few episodes being rough, it turned out to be an amazing season! It's too bad they waited so long to get the witches into the mix. Everything before that was wasted potential in my opinion.

I just watched this movie where a group of fake paranormal investigators go to a house to help rid it of ghosts. It's creepy (watched it in the day so the effect was lessened) and the ending wasn't necessarily a nice one.

Watched "The Autopsy of Jane Doe" on Netflix. Holy shit it's something actually original! Highly recommend. Though I'll warn people if your squeamish about watching surgery there's quite a bit of it in there.
And of course, no modern horror movie/game is complete without a creepy old timey tune to go along with it.
I seriously cant stop singing it. I'm hopeful that it's putting my coworkers on edge.
