Random question for everyone. I never got around to playing the Trespasser DLC, so I've been thinking of picking up DA:I again to finish it and I'm wondering about who has the best romance content, Josephine or Sera? I can't believe I was late for this question. I have failed my fictional waifu. In any case, ah... definitely Sera! Not just because I love her, but because she has a lot - a lot - of romance-specific Trespasser content. Just.... so much. You've got to head to YouTube (or replay the DLC a whole bunch) just to hear all the banter, and that's not touching on her journal or cutscenes.

I almost thought we didn't have a general Dragon Age thread, but here it is. Needed a place to put down a little of what I've been playing through tonight. I really am enjoying this run of Inquisition, and I've made a lot of progress with the personal quest portion. I just finished Cassandra's quest. I almost always encourage her to disband the Seekers (or not to reform them I guess). I feel her having an army of mage resistant super templars doesn't bode well for the world I'm trying to build given her stance on mages. I finished Iron Bull, Dorian, and Sera's quests as well tonight. Oh, and Egg.. "saved" egg's friend.

Sera hands down. Don't want to go into too much Trespasser details cos spoilers but what happens with her path if you romance her really really surprised me when I first played it. Twas sweet. Oh and bring her about when you run into some Qunari cos her banter is pretty funny.

I've romanced her with a Qunari just because of that, but I also tried her with a dwarf and ended up loving that ship, too.

Oh and bring her about when you run into some Qunari cos her banter is pretty funny. Sera is so thirsty for Qunari, I feel like it's not fair to romance her as any other race Even though my canon has her with a qunari, I actually love her with all races. She just has a unique relationship with all the possible Inkys and I love that! That said, it's hard for me not to romance her as qunari bc 1) the size difference is cute huhu and 2) we'll probably never, ever have another LI who is that hot for giant buff Amazonian women so I have to take advantage while I can looool. Sera is so thirsty for Qunari, I feel like it's not fair to romance her as any other race I know the feeling! I've romanced her with a Qunari just because of that, but I also tried her with a dwarf and ended up loving that ship, too. I love her with a dorf, too! "You're so SQUEEZY CUTE!"

Thanks, but this mod is available for months on Dragon Age Nexus and I love it If I remember correctly I posted links for it somewhere here.

I am so grateful for all the work put into these mods. Dragon Age Origins is very special to me and easily one of my favorite games along with Mass Effect 3. Being able to play as a gay Warden romancing Alistair was a dream come true and made the game a perfect experience for me. I still hold this game as an example of what I want as an experience with a canon gay Prince Charming/KISA...but that will probably only remain a dream thanks to how different gaming is now.
I tried out the mod to sleep with Cammen and the result was hilarious. It wasn't in-character for my Warden at that point though because he was already with Alistair, so I didn't save.
I'd love to see stuff like that again without the unnecessary gender restrictions. ...I miss what Dragon Age used to be so much.

Only vaguely related, but I want to vent: the DA subreddit is so ridiculously over-moderated. Apparently this qualifies as a violation:
I only had one option who feels the need to remind you at every possible moment how much he prefers women over you.
Also not giving someone a choice in love interests is shitty when the whole point of RPGs is player autonomy. 2 straight/2 bi is an awful set up.
Of course this thread will be full of people bitching about how DA2 was "pandering" and "player sexual" but at least that game gave a shit about me as a consumer and gave me the same sort of experience that straight players take for granted.

I really tried to get into Reddit but the layout of that site irritates the shit out of me lmao. It's a shame too as there are plenty of sub-reddits that I would be interested in.

Scary for the first time – seems chaotic but I'm used to it. But the moderation is weird, indeed. And the system too.

I'm subscribed to the subreddit for info, but every time I check it's mostly just people complaining about how much they hate Sera and Vivienne. Still. Eh they should just put em into a party together, let them hate on one another. It's glorious *skitter skitter skitter*
Weirdly enough I actually don't hate any of the DAI companions not even SolASS and he would give ya plenty of reason.

Friggity frick frack, I took a break from DA for a while but it's drawing me back iiinnn. So, who's your second favorite DA romance? Since "who's your fave" gets asked often enough and by now I can guess all the regulars' favorites.
